Photoshop CS6 Download Error

can you advise? I am endeavouring to download Adobe Photoshop CS6 for a trial, before purchase. I have downloaded it three times so far but it still will not run. It completes download, advises me I have to sign in (even although I was already signed into Adobe Download Assistant) then appears to hang on the sign in page. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me. I have now tried this on two different laptops with different systems (Windows 7/Vista), but still getting the same fault. I go through the download stage and when it is complete, it advises I need to sign in to access. The timer (bottom right) is still running three hours later ...

Adobe App Manager - Photoshop CS6 Download Corrupt

After clicking install, Photoshop CS6 will get to about 62% done, when it stops, says there is an error, that the file is corrupt, and that I should try again in a few minutes. Been trying all day with no different results.
Is there a cache I need to clear?

Photoshop CS6 DynamicLink Error?

I have just recently downloaded Photoshop CS6 on my Windows laptop. When I opened Photoshop, I was able to open images, but when I went to Import>Video Frames to Layers, an error popped up saying "Could not complete the Video Frames to Layers command because DynamicLink is not available." I have already tried restarting my laptop, but that did not work, and I have also tried installing Adobe Application Manager, which did not work either. I also tried re-downloading DynamicLink, but to no avail, either. I'm very eager to use CS6 in making gifs but now I don't know if I can because of this error. Any help is greatly appreciated!

How far do you get? Does the dialog box open?
What is the video file extension? If MOV do you have Quicktime installed?
What AV do you use? I found references to making sure your Adobe apps are added as exceptions to your AV program.

Any idea what it means?

As I mentioned on another discussion thread -
Once the update failed I could no longer launch Photoshop CS6. I got a dialogue box that popped up saying "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working." I tried a number of things, including trying to reinstall Photoshop CS6. Maybe I did something wrong but I couldn't get any joy. Luckily, I had a recent Drive image which I restored and got my lovey Photoshop back again.
I then did as someone suggested and attempted to update from within Photoshop itself. Unfortunately, the same horrible result. Have just restored my drive again and will not try to install update 13.1.2 until I know that the problem has been addressed and fixed by Adobe.
By the way, as my attempt to reinstall Photoshop, as per the Adobe suggestion, didn't help, should I have reinstalled the entire Creative Suite Master Collection? If that is what I need to do then I will most definitely forgo this update.
I just had a look at what this update is supposed to do. It apparently gets rid of a bug that when you open a copy of Photoshop CS6 that you purchased, a notice displays that you can try this product for 30 days. As I don't have this issue, I wonder why I got the update anyway. Maybe that is why it is causing so much angst. It is supposed to fix a specific problem that I don't have.
I suggest that if, like me, you don't have this "Trial Screen Display" bug, don't install the update.

Photoshop CS6 update error U44M2P22 or U44M2I218

I bought the permanent license version of Photoshop CS6 standard. as-installed, it is version 13.0.0
I wanted to update to 13.0.4. so I tried installing via update feature. got an error.
so I manually downloaded the 13.0.4 updater patch.
still get an error.
Error log I get is this:

Sometimes the error code is: U44M2P22
I searched everywhere, and no one else seem to get this error code.
I have run out of /Application disk space, so the actual program is located in a mounted partition (via /etc/fstab), /Application/Adobe/Photoshop CS6
I've tried re-installing, permission repair, disk repair...
help!

However on the 13.0.4 updater log there are many errors, mostly due to some language pack missing, but that should not have any bearing (I have the US version installed). BUT
there's the INSTALLDIR error, which should not be triggered, since the application IS NOT INSTALLED IN THE ROOT DIRECTORY. /Application is root directory, but the application is installed in /Application/Adobe. in the original PS CS6 installer, the root directory check passes as shown above. so the updater is somehow NOT seeing that the installed directory is not root.

This to me, says that the Photoshop updater program has a bug in its algorithm to determine whether the program is installed in the root path or not. The original Photoshop installer algorithm works, but the updater installer doesn't.
And you can see from the timestamps on the logs that I (re)installed PS CS6 and then immediately ran the 13.0.4 updater. I did not relocate the program or any of its support files, or modify any of the PS CS6 components.
Just to be clear on my HDD setup, my /Applications directory is a mounted partition. thus the /Applications is a mount point/top-level directory for that partition which Adobe installer identifieds as root path. thus the PS CS6 program is installed in the folder within the mounted partition, /Applications/Adobe/PS 6, which is most definitely not a root path.

Photoshop CS6 & 5 Errors and Illustrator CS6

Hi All,
Been asked by support chat to post this in here.
I am running Yosemite (and have been with no issues at all) with my Macbook Pro, and have had CS6 running and Photoshop CS5.
I am now getting errors with CS6 Illustrator and Photoshop, and also CS5 Photoshop. Indesign CS6 is working with no problems at all.
I've tried a few different things suggested by people, but I'm not very "techy" so for some the issue might be quite obvious, but to me I can't work it out. Apple support have said to speak directly to adobe .
I've attached 3 screenshots of the errors in order of Photoshop CS6 / 5 & Illustrator CS6 - any help of tips would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Why won't photoshop CS6 download camera raw 8.2?

I am running Lightroom 5 and Photoshop CS6. I have been getting the error message that I need the camera raw plug-in 8.2 to run CS6 (Canon Eos 5D Mk III). I cannot open raw files directly into Photoshop, and Lightroom is not working to edit file in Photoshop as I have started loading all my photos onto a NAS (which seems now to have been a total waste of time). I hope to get a better Thunderbolt system in the next few months but this was a short term solution to the number of external drives that I had accumulated.
Back to the problem- the plug-in does not appear when I run updates in CS6, yet I need the plug-in, and I cannot seem to find somewhere to download it independently. This is very frustrating with many files to process. I have just updated to Mavericks as the desktop could not run LR5 (ughhh) this has been a trial.
Any help would be appreciated.

I have been using Lightroom since it was first created. I am a very experienced Lightroom user, and I just updated to version 5 with my new Canon Eos 5D Mk II (I have used every 5 series camera too).
THERE IS NO LINK AVAILABLE FOR THIS AND THAT IS THE PROBLEM. CS6 SAYS IT IS UP TO DATE, LIGHTROOM SAYS IT IS NOT.
LIGHTROOM SAYS THAT I NEED THAT FILE. I HAVE BEEN SELECTING ‘IGNORE’ OR RENDER WITH LIGHTROOM ADJUSTMENTS DEPENDING ON THE COMPUTER THAT I AM ON.
What I don’t understand is why is lightroom saying that i need the plug-in for my camera, CS6 says my software is up to date, and mostly THERE IS NO PLACE WHERE I CAN SIMPLY DOWNLOAD THE PLUG-IN TO FIX THE PROBLEM.
I am mostly annoyed about the last part- there is no place to simply download the plugin- hence I am writing here, and from what I have read online I am not the only person with this complaint. When I get a moment I will try the link to download it, but as I mentioned, why is it not available as there is obviously a glitch here.
Obviously I am a very frustrated user because the software is not updating and your site does not have the download available so the problem can be simply fixed. I find it a little offensive that you would suggest that I have the problem, and that I don’t know how to use the software, when I am pointing out clearly that there is a software issue here. And trust me, i understand the difference in the options but the fact the plugin does not show up as an update in CS6 (where you say it will be and how it should be installed), is the real issue.

CS6 download- error 101

I am attempting to download a trial of Photoshop CS6 because I have never used anything more advanced than Elements and want to test it out. (I have Elements 7 and 10 on my computer.)
I have downloaded the Adobe Download Assistant, and my trial was downloading well...until it reached the end. When it all appeared to have finished loading, it gave me error 101, saying that I did not have enough room on my computer. I know very well that I have over 300GB free. So why won't the Photoshop download?? I tried removing unused files and have tried to download several times, and keep recieving the same message.
What do I need to do to make this go away?

However the download assitant download the software at the place you hace selected , If you have customized at location then check the space at that place but if you have haven't changed it then empty Temp folder , Download folder and follow the above article.

Cs6 Bridge will not open files in Photoshop cs6, get error message pasted below

I installed Photoshop CS6 Upgrade (64bit and 32Bit) to my PC which ran CS5 Extended. When I deleted CS5, Bridge
stopped opening files, whether I double clicked on the file or did Open with: I get the same error message.

By uninstalling CS5 you have corrupted file associations. THey want to open in CS5 now and it is not on machine.
You can either unistall CS6, do a script cleaner, and reinstall.
Or you can change an entry in the registry. Here is instructions from a previous post.
I installed Photoshop CS6, then found CS5 was still there. I thought, hey, I don't need CS5 anymore, so I uninstalled CS5. then I found out that Photoshop was no longer available in 'Open with' when right-clicking an image...
So I went into the Registry, HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\Photoshop.exe\shell\open\command, and changed the (Default) from "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" to "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe" "%1" (so changed CS5 to CS6) - and now I see 'Adobe Photoshop CS6' in my 'Open with' list when right-clicking an image...

Installing Photoshop CC: "Download error. Contact customer support (49)"

Hi. have just purchased the creative cloud. I try downloading/installing Phoshop, but at the end it comes up with: "Update failed. Download error. Press Retry again or contact customer support (49)" ??!! I have tried again offcourse - problem remains,
Running on Windows 8.1, 3200x1800 ppi screen on Dell M3800. InDesign installed and working ok as far as I can see by briefly testing.

How do I open a PhotoShop CS6 download with a .7z file extenstion

Downloading, Installing, Setting Up downloaded Photoshop CS6 from adobe and now it's asking me how I want to open the file and gives me various options such as the store, paint, windows photo viewer etc?

You need two files. One with a .exe extension and one with a .7z extension.
Then you double click the .exe file and follow the prompts.

Photoshop cs6 trial has been extracting for hours, So i deleted adobe download assistant, then downloaded it again and I'm at the same position as before, its saying extracting this may take a while. Please help!?
