Photoshop CS6 Extended and the 3D tools
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended and the 3D tools are not available. Everything is greyed-out. How can I fix this?
Check the 3d setting in the preferences and see if they are grayed out as well.
You could -
Reset the preferences (holding down the 3 modifier keys at boot of photoshop)
Update your video card driver
Get a new video card

Then the adobe application manager has been installed and the photoshop CS6 started to be installed automaticaaly and after it done , I found it the standard version not the Extended ... So how and where can I get the Extended version for both 32 bit and 64 bit?

Thank you ....So if you download the trial from the trial page at http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop you get Photoshop CS6 Extended. When you then remove the trial and reinstall from the Adobe Application Manager with your trial Creative Cloud you only see the Standard version?
If this is so you can try reviewing your installation logs by following the steps listed in Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html. Although your 30 day trial has already begun. I would recommend for now you just remove the installation and install from the trial page so that you can try the extended features. -
I can't find Photoshop CS6 Extended on the adobe download manager, only the ordinary photoshop cs6.
When i admit the trial download link of Photoshop CS6 extended on the website i'm reverted to the adobe download manager which doesn't have the extended version, only tghe normal one.
And how about x64 versions? does the normal installation pack includes both platforms?All trials of PS are the Extended version. Only when you buy the product will the serial number determine Standard or Extended. Yes, it contains both 64bit and 32bit versions.

Is the shortcuts file truely saved to disk? You can find in the user path, where the preferences and presets are stored for PS. Or if you go to the dialog again where you change shortcuts, is it reverted there too? -

Hello everyone,
I want to buy "Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended" but have to choose a platform (Windows OR Mac) during the buying process. When I buy Photoshop, I'm allowed to install it on a second Computer, but use just one copy at the same time.
Is it possible to install the same licence both with the Windows PC and a MacBook Pro with OS X on it?

Moa ps license allows either 2 pc or 2 mac installations. to install on both mac and pc, you must purchase two licenses, or subscribe to adobe cc which does allow 1 pc and 1 mac installation for all adobe programs.

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on MAC and Bridge does not open. It did open when I first downloaded it - but now a black question mark is over the BR icon and it does not open up. Any ideas from anyone?

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?
Do I need to DEACTIVATE ANYTHING ANYWHERE?

I just want to make sure 'everything' related to CS6 Extended is off my computer and out of all the files. In the event i want to re-install - naturally I don't want to run into any conflicting 'issues'.
Do you think if I reinstall I will run into this same problem again (BR not launching)? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?

I Have been told different answers pertaining to photoshop cs6 being compatible with windows 8. Does anyone here use photoshop cs6 on windows 8? Specifically photoshop cs6 extended? Any info would be appreciated! Thanks
The base code of windows 7, vista , 8, and 8.1 are all identical. They are all the same version. They are only point upgrades from each other (based on information from Microsoft)
This means that odds are quite good if it works on 7 or vista, it will work on 8 or 8.1.
This biggest differences are user interface changes between each version of windows, other than that bug fixes.
That said, the .net code is updated and it is possible that something written for version 8 would not be backward compatible.
On another note, I have not heard of any complaints using CS6 on 8, so I am fairly confident that it will run. But like anything, there is always that possibility. (That was my disclaimer, lol.) -
I've been using Photoshop CS6 and suddenly when I try to open images with this it takes me onto a page saying Photoshop CS6 Extedned and is asking me to license this software. Ive already got Photoshop so why is this happening? I now cant access it?
You should see a prompt to "License this Software". You might see it on the Trial Screen.
Click on that, sign in if asked, then click on the "I have a serial number" option or you maybe able to do that directly.
Once your serial number is entered, your software is licensed and activated. -

Photoshop CS6 extended on the cloud?
Do I need to remove my paid version of CS6 to download and use Photoshop extended App from the cloud? I don't have a 3D button, I had the 3D ver. with the beta CS6 and when CS6 was made avail for purchase I got it but the 3D was gone. And after seeing it was on the Creative Cloud I subscribed and downloaded it but still no 3D button. I must be missing some thing I just can't find it.
Hi,
Assuming you aren't installing this under Windows XP (since you had 3D features working in the Ps Public Beta buld), you should be able to get Ps CS6 Extended to work with a Creative Cloud membership.
You don't need to uninstall the shipping version you purchased and activated with a serial number (again, I'm assuming this was the Ps CS6 version and not Ps CS6 Extended), but you do need to Deactivate it. Go to Help> Deactivate... then Quit Photoshop. Now relaunch and you should see the terms dialog again. Agree, and when prompted to license, use the AdobeID that you used for the Creative Cloud mambership. This should get the Ps CS6 Extended version enabled and working.

Installation error Photoshop Cs6 Extended and Maverick
I have a brand new iMac which is operating with Maverick. I have just purchased Adobe Photoshop Extended and tried to install but I get an error straight away saying 'the following disk images could not be opened. Image - Photoshop_13_LS16.dr and the reason is input/output error.
I have already installed the program using this same disc on my Mac laptop which I have upgraded to Maverick but I had no issues.
Can anyone help me with what to do?create a folder on you desktop and copy the disc contents to that folder. open the folder and click setup.
