Photoshop CS6 Extended crashes on OS X (3D)
When i'm working with 3D, photoshop crashes to desktop. I set 80% Ram to Photoshop, well, I think it's a ram problem, I only have 4gb.
I need to finish this project, please help ): Sorry for my bad english, i'm spanish.

Photoshop CS6 Extended crashing when using Oil Paint filter
I replaced a standard hard drive with a new SSD drive and did a fresh install of Windows 7 and all of my programs. I made sure all Win 7 updates, program updates and drivers are current. The good news is Photoshop CS6 Extended loads much faster. The bad news is now Photoshop crashes when I attempt to use the Oil Paint filter. The only hardware change is the new SSD, I haven't changed any video devices and I never had any issues running the Oil Paint filter before I swapped out hard drives and did the software reinstallations. I've tried the OpenGL Drawing Mode in basic, normal and advanced, and still get crashes when attempting to use oil paint. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Installed TWAIN devices: NONECrash info helps, but it would seem that you just see the old "intel chips don't cut it" problem. Turn of the intel graphics unit in the driver or even in the BIOS/ EFI. Perhaps updating your storage/ SATA driver when installing the SSD simply has re-enabled it.

Photoshop CS6 extended crashes unexpectedly
Hello,
I have this slight problem with my PS6 crashing unexpectedly in the middle of my work... I was wondering could this be related to the fact I registered my trial version instead of installing the software again from a CD? The instructions told not to register the trial version but I somehow overlooked the fact there was an installation cd in the ps6 box (+ my computer doesn't have a cd drive anyways)? I mean the trial version never crashed but now it happenes way too often and needless to say, it's very frustrating. If the problems is somehow related to the trial version registeration, should I uninstall my photoshop and install it again - and if so, would my licence code still work?
If this is something else... I have no idea what to do and why it's happening.You have not provided any technical info about your system or other details like the actual crash logs, so nobody can know. there is no difference in functionality between trials and full versions, so whatever issues you have can't be attributed to that.

Photoshop CS6 Extended crashes all the time
and I mean all the time, I can't even really use it and I just bought it. I am running it on an iMac running OS 10.6.8 - any thoughts, any fixes??
I agree with Curt, on the likelihood of a font possibly causing crashes. This article goes into more detail: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2186476#2186476
While it starts with references to Premiere's Titler (even more sensitive to font issues, than PS), near the end, are some PS links too.

My adobe photoshop cs6 extended crashes on start up after without having any errors
My PC specs are: intel core i7 3.40 ghz
32gb of ram
asus gtx 660ti gpu
120gb ssd
4tb harddriveMine is too and I noticed it coincides with their update to Creative Cloud. Worked just fine last night, no issues. Today can't do anything. Trying to get answers from them now. So frustrated.

Crash - Windows 8.1 Photoshop CS6 Extended
After an english Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended install, it just refuses to work: crashes after seconds of startup. After so many crashes I think Photoshop moved the plugins, because they are not in the main folder anymore.
Event Viewer doesn't report anything strange.

Photoshop CS6 extended-Windows explorer crash
Hi! I run Photoshop CS6 extended, student edition and recently, I'm having an error every time I work with Photoshop. Windows Explorer doesn't respond. The screen freezes and it's lagging so much. My software is updated. Windows updates are done as well. I haven't download any new software. Please, is there a way to fix this issue? Thanks to help me out!
Hi, I'm having Videotron security services, I don't know much more about it. It's from my Internet provider, I'm paying every month. I think windows defender is active on my computer. I desinstall the antivirus I had when I bought the computer, I think it was macfee. As I have my own security system, I got rid of it.
The problem is recent, a week or so. Everything was running perfectly. Might it be related to any windows updates?

Error when running Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended

Uneven pen pressure in Photoshop CS6 Extended with Wacom Intuos5
I got Photoshop CS6 Extended recently, but the lines I draw in it aren't smooth, like they should be (example below).
The tablet produces perfect lines in any other bit of software (Flash, ToonBoom, etc.), but not Photoshop. I've tried lots of different solutions (uninstalling and reinstalling it, reverting back to an earlier driver, clearing preferences, etc.), to no avail. Oddly, my Intuos3 works fine in Photoshop, for a few minutes, before it crashes. If I try to adjust the Wacom Tablet Properties for CS6, it doesn't recognize any changes, but if I adjust the settings for Photoshop CS4, it does. All Wacom Drivers are up-to-date.
Any ideas on how to fix this would be most appreciated.I've tried all of the above and had no results. I have the exact same issue as you, specially when working with a big brush. Even in the tablet settings panel I can see the sensitivity display go nuts after a certain threshold over 30% of pressure. I tend to use the hardest possible. At this point I think it's probably a hardware problem with the pen or tablet surface but still, I had an intuos 3 for many years without any trouble and the intuos 5 is giving me problems now . Also I replied to you becouse this was kind of the only part of the internet where I could find the exact same issue with a screencap of it. thank's in advance to anyone that have a workaround or news about this!!!

I just bought a new Mac Book Pro and did a migration of the content of the old laptop (also a Mac Book Pro) to the new one. Now I cannot start Photoshop CS6. When I am starting it I have a window "Adobe photoshop CS6 extended" opening requesting a connexion. When I am entering my password for the connexion the software crashes. How can I fix the problem?
Migrating, transferring or copying is DEMANDING trouble, not just asking for it.

I can no longer use 3D commands in Photoshop CS6 Extended
I have Photoshop CS6 Extended (Ver 13.0.1x64). My desktop is Windows 7 64 Home premium; and Video card is: AMD Radeon HD 5570. The drivers and operating system is updated.
I have been using simple 3D functions like "New 3D extrusion from..." from time to time without any problems until recently. For unknown reasons now when I try to invoke any 3D command, I get the following message: " Could not complete the "New 3D extrusion from selected layer command because of a program error." This ,message gets repeated for any 3D command.
I checked out 3D functionality in Photoshop CS6 32 bit; and Photoshop CS5.5 Extended. Same problem. However, I can access and use all 3D functions in Illustrator CS6. Clearly, therefore, the video card is not the problem. It looks like one of the recent software updates from Adobe must have caused this problem.

Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error.
When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

How to Force Enable 3D Menu Contents in PhotoShop CS6 Extended
Hello I have a weird problem with photoshop cs6 extended
I bought my new laptop HP Pavilion dv6 6170ee which has 2 graphics card 1 is the intel one and the other is the AMD one ( High Performance )
As you can see from the screen shot above my drivers are installed and updated anyway the 3D option in CS6 was working good and it's content was enabled and ready to use , but suddeny after restarting my pc I started cs6 and found out that the contents at 3D Menu is disabled I went for my AMD graphics card control center and made sure that photoshop is running on the ( High Performance ) GPU and here is the screen shot that proffs it
and then I opened photoshop again , choosen Edit , Performace and found that it's still using the Intel Grapics Card ? here is the screen shot
and I have done all what i can do to make the 3D menu content enabled again system restore ( failed ) , Reinstalling windows + Drivers + stuff again ( same problem happpend again after restarting my computer ) and also trying resseting my gpu settings to factory default settings ) all of these was fail , please is there a way to force start photo shop like command line ..etc .
