Photoshop CS6 Extended Download not Functioning
Hi all. I have attempted to download Photoshop CS6 Extended trial, however, once the install is completed, it's just the standard version. WHERE can I download the Extended Version??? Thank you!
Wow, what a geeky package that cleaner tool is... It starts out by prompting for English or Japanese, then dumps an entire EULA to the CMD window, which scrolls off the top and can't possibly be read, then just asks ''yes or no''. I assume that question is asking whether you agree to the EULA. After that the prompts are pretty straightforward.
Looks like it did a pretty thorough job, leaving nothing in the Photoshop install areas or a few other places I looked.
Notably the installer still knew my Adobe ID and saved password during the reinstall. Fortunately the reinstall took only a few moments.
In answer to your question: It seems to have worked just fine. I still have the same amount of time left in the trial as before the uninstall.

When starting Photoshop CS6 I get this error message, Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Could not complete your request because of a program error (-- OK --). This happens on the main screen immediately. Once I click OK the program seems to be alright. But some part of it, that I haven't discovered yet, may not function properly.
I am running Windows7 Professional Service Pack 1 64 bit with Intel i7-4770k CPU and 16 GIG Ram.
This problem just started recently, everything has been fine up till now. I must have done something when trying to defragment the Registry or get rid of temp files.
I have uninstalled Photoshop CS6 and reinstalled it with no effect. I have tried to run Photoshop CS6 32 bit in Safe Mode, but it will not run. It hangs up on Reading Memory.
Is there any kind log file that would tell me what is causing this to occur?
Does anyone know what might cause this?

J. J. PattersonDid you reset your Preferences and Photoshop tools. Photoshop Preferences are not removed with an un-install and an Install does not install preferences. Preferences are created for a user id when a user ID start Photoshop and there are no preferences for the user ID.

My Photoshop CS6 Extended did not transfer properly from Macbook to iMac. It was treated as a trial and now I am being asked to 'buy' it.
I have run into this before. Click on "license this product" on the Trial countdown screen.
Sign in if asked with your Adobe ID/Password The Cloud is an option for those who do not have a serial number license. It isn't mandatory.
Then look for the "I have a serial number" option.
And enter it from there and activate. Your trial should convert to Photoshop Standard or Extended depending on the serial number.
Of course migrating or restoring from Time Machine does break licensing.
So aside from uninstall, run the Cleaner tool Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
and use Disk Utility to verify your disk and run a "Repair Permissions" before install. -

CS6 Photo Downloader not functioning correctly.
CS6 Photo Downloader locks up when I attempt to download photos. Buttons like browse, settings, get media do function. This worked fine with CS5 Bridge on this machine. The machine is a windows 7 box.
I had CS5 Master Suite side X side installed with CS 6 Master Suite. When I noticed problems with the CS 6 Photo Downloader not working correctly I uninstalled CS5 Master Suite. This did not resolve the issue and I am stuck with lots of photos that are unable to be downloaded using CS6 Photo Downloader.

Photoshop CS6 extended do not working
My name is Sara Lopez Martin, from Madrid. I have an educational license CS6 Production Suite.
All suite programs work fine except Photoshop which does not work.
Open but not save formats, does not work in 3D.
I uninstalled the entire Suite and I have reinstalled and everything works except photoshop.
My computer is an i7, Nvidia Quadro 4000, 24 gb of RAM. OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
Can anyone help me?

Anyone know whats wrong with the Photoshop CS6/Extended Download? It starts and remains at 0.00MB and its not my internet. Ive downloaded other files just fine * Attempted * its just the CS6.

What OS are you using? CS6 with 3D does not work with XP OS.
PS CS6 comes in two flavors, Extended and Standard.
PS CS 6 extended has 3D features but on the other hand Standard version doesnt have these features.
So, there may be a possibility that you may have purchased Standard version. -

I'm trying to download the trial version of Photoshop CS6, but adobe just returns me the download page of Photoshop CS6 Extended. Where can I download that? Is that available as a trial?
The only way is to buy a license I have complained to Adobe for I do not want to be a beta tester and do not want to even see extended feature during a trial. I talk for over an hour with their support on the phone before paying for a licence. They told me the bug I wated fixed in CS5 was fixed in CS6 so I sprung for a license only to find out they lied the bug is still in CS6 andAdobe has added additional bugs. Things that work in the past now have bugs. IMO what I paid for is a beta not a good release so many Actions and Scripts fail if your preferences is set to edit in floading windows. The Only way to even use CS6 it to edit with preference set to open in tabs then float windows with tabs option in effect. New features support like Bicubic Automatic was not added to Photoshop Scripting which breaks Script that reference a users interpolaton preference when the preference is the default Bicubic Automatic. Installing the Script listener disables the new allow tool recording option. The new Allow Tool Recording is machine dependant recording a massive amount of data on fast machine and a small amount of data on slow machines. Playing an action that record tools on a fasts machine when played on a slow machine is unuseable. There is at least one new bug in the Action player and one new bug in the Action recorder. The there are other new features like content aware move the feature may work on a document where the move is relatily easy to pull off. Professional as well as well as amatures tha pay the price for Photoshop want tools that are well designed and work not tools that may work on some machines or work on easy problems not hard ones. IMO CS6 as is is beta code and has some design flaws as well.

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?
Do I need to DEACTIVATE ANYTHING ANYWHERE?

I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?

I am trying to download the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Student and Teacher Trial and it had me download te assistant. After downloading the assistant, I installed it and I signed in. It wants me to pick a product to download and the Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended Student and Teacher is not listed. The closest thing to download is Adobe PS CS6. Please help me
there is no specific trial for S&T. It's just the normal program. S&T is a licensing/ pricing thing, not some technical difference.
