Photoshop CS6 install

Can anyone please help me. My old computer does not work anymore. How do I do to install cs6 in to my new computer. I have cs4 and cs6 is an upgrade.

You can go to http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html and download photoshop CS6.
In order to install the upgrade for photoshop CS6 you must have the serial numbers of CS6 and CS4 both.
After the download is completed you need to extract the zipped file (.7z) and run the setup.exe
This will start the installation. During the installation it will ask you first to enter the key for CS6 and then on the next page it will ask you to enter the key for CS4.
After entering the serial numbers it will take 5-10 minutes and the installation will be compeleted.

If I say "OPEN WITH Photoshop CC 2014", or if I drag the file directly to CC 2014 in the Dock it will open in CC. Since I like to double-click or hit return in the bridge, I am constantly having to wait until the file opens in CS6, quit CS6 an then open it another way to get it into Photoshop CC 2014. I tried to disable CS6 by hiding it, but then double-clicking Bridge did nothing. Any ideas why this is happening?

Check and adjust the File Type Associations in the bridge cc preferences.

Matt59 yes you can install Photoshop Elements 13 separately. The evaluation process is software title specific.

Photoshop Cs6 Install fail

I have downloaded Photoshop cs6 and recieved my serial from adobe this morning , the download completes but when i try to install in Frensh language mode , but the install fails and a message sais (in Frensh) : Echec de l'installation

si tu utilise windows , aller à : C:\Program Files\Fichiers communs\Adobe
Chercher le dossier caps et le renommer à : caps.old
C'est finalement installé !!

Photoshop cs6 install administrator error - Windows 7 64-bit

I have attempted installation of Photoshop CS6 repeatedly following a fresh installation of Windows 7 64-bit. Initially running into the error stating Administrator Rights is required to run this upgrade image, I forced it to Run as Administrator.
I forced the installer to verify my Adobe ID at the "Sign In Required" page by selecting "Not your Adobe ID?), then entering my email address and password.
Following selection of both Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64Bit) and Adobe Photoshop CS6 (32Bit), and clicking Install, I receive the error:
Setup.exe - Application Error
The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b). Click OK to close the application
Once I click OK, the persistent Administrator error appears:
"Administrator privileges are required in install. Please log in as an administrator." I already am logged in as an administrator on this system.
Any solutions to these errors? I have successfully installed, and ran, Photoshop CS6 on this system (as recently as 3 days ago, before the need to perform the total system wipe, and Windows 7 reinstall)

Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 install error EX20

When installing Illustrator and Photoshop CS6 I receive the error EX20. In looking at the installation log file there is warning DF029. Suggestions?

Reset your illustrator prefs
Hold fingers over Shift Alt CTLR (PC) or Shift Opt Command (Mac)
Boot Illustrator
Immediately after booting depress the 3 keys as fast as you can.

Ive been trying to install photoshop cs6 trial on my Mac. im using osx lion 10.8.2. ive installed other adobe products such as dreamweaver and reader and those work normally. here is the error list for photoshop

Why does the Adobe Photoshop CS6 have the two install options clicked by default? These are the Adobe Photoshop CS6 (64 Bit) and the Adobe Photoshop CS6. I have Win7 Ultimate 64-bit. Am I missing some features if I only install the former? Is the latter for 32-bit OS? If so, why are they both clicked by default anyway?

There are features like TWAIN fpor scanning or specific printer drivers that pnly work in 32bit. Likewise, some people use legacy third-party plug-ins that only work in 32bit. If you don't fall into any of those categories, then feel free to only install 64bit PS.

I installed Photoshop CS6 through hardware/serial number last year, and suddenly when I try to open up the application, the adobe application manager for Cloud pops up and says I need to renew my subscription, but I'm not using cloud. I did *used* to have Photoshop CC on this computer but not for months, and I've uninstalled all that software. Why can't I open my CS6?

Just answered that one a few hours ago: Ive got photoshop CS6 in my computer but when I tried to open it, it opened as Photoshop CS6 Extended and is asking me if I want to license this software so I can no longer access Photoshop. Can anyone help at all?
You should see a prompt to "License this Software". You might see it on the Trial Screen.
Click on that, sign in if asked, then click on the "I have a serial number" option or you maybe able to do that directly.
Once your serial number is entered, your software is licensed and activated.

Installation Error -403 on Creative Cloud Photoshop CS6 install

Mac OS X 10.8.2, Retina MacBook Pro, 16GB RAM
Greetings, and hoping for a hand here (already on hold for an hour and a half waiting for a tech from Adobe to become free...wow, there must be lots of similar problems...).
Just started a Creative Cloud subscription. I already owned some CS6 applications, most notably Photoshop. I installed the AAM and downloaded some of the apps missing from my catalog. Cool! But I noticed that Photoshop was not Photoshop Extended. Some searches led me to believe that I needed to deactivate my purchased version and uninstall it (which I did with Adobe's uninstaller). AAM then reported that Photoshop was no longer installed, so I clicked to install. It downloaded and immediately at the end of installation, it gave me the following: Installation Failed. Download error. Press retry to try again or contact customer support. (403).
Note that I've installed three other CS6 applications successfully on the same network setup with no issues. I've also run the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, but it doesn't see Photoshop at all remaining on the machine. I see no remnants of it when I manually inspect things.
Repeated downloads of Photoshop do nothing different. Always error 403. DLM_Native.log has nothing at all useful. Here is everything time stamped from this particular installation attempt:

Anyone have any ideas? I have searched extensively and haven't seen anyone with this situation. Maybe Adobe rolled this out a little before it was ready? The hold times on the phone seem to indicate this...

OK, I figured it out. It was the firewall at work. Installed correctly on the first try at home. What is strange here is that other applications installed just fine. It appears that Photoshop does some extra validation online that the other apps don't do. So, if you see this error, know that one cause of it can be firewall issues.

Troubles with update mechanism in Photoshop CS6 installing Camera Raw 7.3 update

Attempted an update using the update mechanism from Bridge. CS6 Design Premium on Mac. Received a couple error messages when it completed. Foolishly I did not write down the details. I thought I could just run the update again. When I attempted this, received mesage saying I was updated. But when I use Camera Raw plug-in within Bridge, it says I am still using version 7.2...
How may I attain a sucessful Camera Raw 7.3 upgrade?
I also use Lightroom which sucessfully upgraded,to 4.3 (with Camera Raw 7.3), but I often too use the Camera Raw Plug-in from within Bridge and would like to be on the same 'level'.

When I install Photoshop through Creative Cloud AAM it downloads and then I get the follow error.

I've looked and can't find this open anywhere.
I am in installing on an older Macbook Pro running OS 10.7.5

Please check in Activity Monitor and End the Process and try installing the software.

Why is my Photoshop CS6 install getting stuck?

After installer starts and I've already input the key, Instal 'stalls' at 3% completed (this happened three times). Says "Currently Installying Microsoft_VC90_CRT_x86...About 560 minutes remaining (3% complete). And the time keeps going up. It now says 574 minutes remaining. 576...
OR...how do I contact Adobe to get a disc (vs. download) to give that a try -- if it'll help.

There are no disks and that's not the problem. Refer to this:

You can't. You need to uninstall both and then reinstall only the 64bit version, if that is what you want.

The CC Cleaner Tool assumes the Akamai Download Manager is activated and it has not. It seems to be the missing file that triggers the error message. \in a previous re-install I was prompted to download & install the Akamai Download Manger, but not this time. Is there somewhere on the Adobe website that I can download it??
