Photoshop cs6 installs successfully but after I shut down and restart computer it disappears.
I have tried to install the trial version of adobe photoshop cs6. When I do successfully install it and then shut off my computer and then restart the computer windows tells me that the application no longer works and that it has been moved somewhere. The program logo doesn't show up next to it instead a different logo shows up next to the program name. In the previous threads I was advised to rename the OOBE file to OBEE.old but i tried tha already and it doesn't work..

Recovered Files in Wastebasket everytime after I shut down and restart
Dear forum,
I'm new to the Mac. One of the bizarre things I've noticed is that nearly everytime I shut down and restart my MacBook (2 Ghz Intel Core Duo with Mac OS X 10.4.10) Recovered files appear in my wastebasket. These files are random in type: I've seen address book files or iPhoto related files or, in many cases, files that I cannot identify. Am I supposed to "revive" these files and if so how do I get them back to where they should be?

SSH Fails after server shut down and restarted
Hi,
I have a VM on Azure which I SSH into without problems for the past year.
Today I had to shut down for 5 minutes, once i started the machines again every SSH attempt gets hit with Operation timed out
Another thing that is weird is that the hostname has become empty once this problem started
I've seen many many similar questions on MSDN but none have actual solutions

Have you made any changes to VM ?
Have you tried restarting the VM after the issue is seen ?

We tried uninstalling , tyen reinstalling Firefox, but we still get the error message that Firefox is running, and the PC won't open the browser.
We went to the Task Manager on our PC, which said Firefox was running, and told TM to close it. But, when we try to then open Firefox, we get the same error message.See:

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

After installing the latest version of IOS my iPhone 4s rapidly runs out of power, it also suddently (fully charged) shuts down and restarts without me asking for it. I tried to reinstall the latest version of IOS but it doesnt help. Any advice?
Backup and restore your software via iTunes. If the problem continues, restore as a NEW device. If this solves it, that means there is some corruption in your backup file. If the problem is still there, you should take it to the Genius Bar at an Apple Store for evaluation.

How to I keep Firefox installed, after shutting down or restarting computer?
After a successful install, I use Firefox, all is great. Problem is, when I shut down, or restart computer, all shortcuts, start menu Firefox, etc. no longer work, and icons are all windows icons, and all the shortcuts, etc. say files had been moved. I uninstall, restart coomputer,install again, successfully, and, same thing again. I am having to uninstall/install everytime I am restarting computer. Is there something I am suppose to check or uncheck after installing? Like compatibility mode, or something? My os is vista home premium 64bit. This happened the first time and everytime.

My iMac screen keeps showing pixels of previously opened documents and Safari tabs and hour or two after closing them.
Even when I swipe to the dashboard the outlines are still there when I know they should not be.
The shadow of those opened documents are still there hours later after shutting down and restarting my computer.

After updating the os, I tried to shut down, clear and reload my Ipod touch. Here's where I goofed: at the prompt for starting the reload process, I selected "start as new Ipod" on the Ipod, but in Itunes, I selected " back up existing Ipod from computer" or something like that. Now the ipod is constantly shutting down and restarting and no controls can be accessed. All I can do is the "forced shut down" which I have done multiple times and let sit for a half hour off.
Disregard, hooked up to itunes and clicked on summary, selected restore, all is well.

After suspension of hard drive activity, my mac is unable to restart (I must shut down and restart)
when occurs a suspension of hard drive activity, manually or after a period of inactivity, this suspension seems to be incomplete (a ventilator continue to run)
therfore my mac (powermac G5, OS 10.4.11) is unable to restart, no possible action from the keyboard (I must shut down and restart)
is it a known problem ?I have zapped the pram (5 times)
I have reformatted the hard disk
I have reinstalled all properly (with full updates to 10.4.11)
there is no more problem with classic (il was probably caused by spoiled files)
but the suspension problem persists
it appears that it is probably not the hard disk suspension but the system suspension that is problematic :
when I set preferences so as to accept disk suspension as often as possible, but so as to avoid system suspension (set to "never"), there is no problem
does it exist a specific hardware use to manage suspension and reactivation, and is it tested in apple hardware test ? -
when i click to open firefox it says that "firefox is already running but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system." and I've tried to shut down and restart my computer but it keeps showing the same message. I've even uninstalled Firefox and then reinstalled in the hopes that the problem would be solved but it this message is still popping up. What can I do to solve this problem?

Firefox will not open on my computer the majority of the time. If I shut down and restart it will work sometimes, but not always. This started recently in the last two weeks. Today is June 12th 2011.

Trying to update my software (iPhone and iPad) it says my iTunes software needs to be updated, but it is already is. I try this over and over again. I've already reinstalled iTunes and have shut down and restarted my Mac several times. How can I fix this?
