Photoshop CS6 macht bei längeren Arbeitsphasen Probleme

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren,
seit Januar 2014 bin ich durch den Erwerb des Design and Web Premium Pakets Besitzer der ein oder anderen Adobe Software.
Diese haben bislang reibungslos geklappt. Leider kommt es mir so vor, als ob Adobe Photoshop ab dem Betriebssystem OS X Yosemite 10.10.x einige Probleme bei mir längeren Arbeitsphasen bereitet.
Folgende, sehr nervenaufreibende Probleme sind mir in den letzten Wochen / Monaten aufgefallen:
(Komischerweise nur nach unterschiedlich langen Arbeitszeiten und bei größeren Arbeitsdokumenten...)
1. Lasso Wergzeug - Auswahl ist "zeitlich" einen Klick versetzt.
Die Anzeige der Lasso Linie ist nicht sichtbar sondern das Programm reagiert wenn ich das nächste Polygonelement setze.
2. Bereichsreperaturwerzeug „repariert“ erst bei einem weiteren Klick
Fast ähnlich wie das Problem Nummer Eins. Ich klicke auf einen Bereich, den ich retuschieren möchte. Bereich wird markiert aber PS reagiert nicht, sondern erst wenn ich irgendwo anders hin klick.
3. Shurt-Cuts reagieren nicht mehr. Erst nach „aus dem Programm und wieder reinklicken“ reagiert es wieder.
Das heißt, Fotoshop spinnt komplett. Es scheint irgendwie in den Hintergrund gerückt zu sein. Die Tastenkürzel funktionieren erst wieder, sobald ich ein anderes Programm oder den Finder einmal in den Vordergrund nehme und dann wieder in PS Wechsel.
[...] Weitere Problemeausführungen kann ich vielleicht in der nächsten Zeit ergänzen.
Ich weiß, diese Probleme klingen alle etwas verwaschen... es ist schwierig zu erklären, weil Sie auch verdammt unregelmäßig auftreten. Aber teilweise ist das Arbeiten durch diese komischen Symptome wirklich fast unmöglich.
Vielleicht ist der ein oder andere Experte ebenfalls über diese Probleme gestoßen. Wäre wirklich schade, wenn ich das tägliche Arbeitsmedium PS trotz Erwerb im Januar 2014 nicht mehr reibungslos nutzen kann. Die update-fähigen CC Versionen sind durch den monatlichen Preis leider keine Option für mich, weil mein Einkommen durch mein Freiberufler-Dasein sehr unregelmäßig ist. Deshalb hoffe ich zutiefst auf hilfreichen Support meiner CS6 Version.

Das sind irgendwelche Fehler im Wacom-Treiber in Kombination mit bestimmten Grafikkarten und PS' Hardwarebeschleunigung. Eine wirkliche Lösung zu dem Problem habe ich noch nirgendwo gesehen, aber vielelicht hilft ja das Ausknipsen von OpenCL oder andere Grafikeinstellungen im System.

Without the actual crash logs nobody can say, but chances are that your graphics hardware is to blame, so update the driver...

Just go back in photoshop and use the Slice Select tool, then just click and select the slice and hit delete - if you're not sure which one is the active slice just right click and find the one that has the Delete Slice option.
It's possible you either added the slices by accident or if you received it from someone they just had the slices hidden. For the future, you can go to View > Show > Slices to display (or hide) slices.

I have Toshiba new 4k display (3840 x 2160) laptop (window 8.1). It's showing Photoshop text very small, even I can't read it.
How can I enlarge the text? Or what setting I need to follow.

In Photoshop CC2014, go to preferences, and in the last entry, experimental features, you can scale the UI to 200%.
It is also possible to set the text slightly bigger in preferences/interface.

I have Photoshop CS6. I am encountering two problems.

Whenever I try to savean image it always tries to save in the format above i.e if I try to save an image as a tiff it defaults to the one above which is say Targa, or Jpeg is IFF. What am I doung wrong, Secondly if I try and download an update it ALWAYS fails and quotes on the Error Log: Error Code U44M1P7. Help! I am using an iMac with Mavericks platform.

First, report problems with MacOS 10.10 to Apple so they can get the information they need to solve the problems introduced in MacOS 10.10.
Second, make sure FileVault is off (a few people have seen performance problems with it on).

Photoshop cs6 encountered a problem and needs to close

i bought the student edition of photoshop cs6 extended, installed it with no problem to my computer, im running windows xp, and when i start it up, a message comes up saying 'adobe photoshop has encountered an error and need to close'. i have uninstalled it and reinstalled it with the same problem, i used the cleaner tool which adobe suggested but still got the same problem.....can anyone help please. Please note im still a learner

You will not have any 3D features as they are not supported by the XP OS.

Possible bug in Photoshop CS6 with app.activeDocument.path.

JavaScript running in Photoshop CS6 under OS X 10.7.5 returns the wrong result for app.activeDocument.path when the file is located on the boot drive. The result is undefined and an error message incorrectly states that the document has not been saved yet. If the file is located on a remote volume, the correct path is returned.
To reproduce this problem, create a new file in Photoshop CS6 on a Mac. Save the file to the desktop. With the file still open, run the following script in ExtendScript Toolkit.

alert(thePath);

Running the same script with a file located on a server volume open in Photoshop correctly returns "/path/to/file.psd" instead of undefined and no error occurs.
This appears to be a bug in Photoshop CS6's JavaScript implementation. This problem did not exist in Photoshop CS3.
A similar issue prevents Photoshop CS6 from saving files to the boot drive using activeDocument.saveAs.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so, have you discovered an alternate method to determine the file path or save a file on the boot drive?

Don't know if this will help much but at least you can use it to check a document's filepath without throwing an error. And maybe tell if the problem is with the Photoshop DOM.

How to save file in photoshop cs6 extended

hi, i started using photoshop cs6 extended yesterday. i have no problem on tools but i have problem on saving my files in photoshop cs6 extended. i've tried to save my files like being shown in tutorials but when i click on the 'save' or 'save as' button, nothing appear on my screen. i've searching the tutorials on youtube but i didn't find the solution to my problem.please, do help me.

On my new Dell XPS 8500 Win 8 computer Photoshop CS6 keeps stopping working. I've tried both 64-bit and 32-bit versions and updated the video driver after phoning Dell. Also installed latest Adobe program updates. I keep getting the error message "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." Any solutions? I'm losing a terrible amount of time!

Yes, I do have a discrete video card with my main monitor plugged into that. I enabled multiscreen in the BIOS so I could plug in my second screen into the internal VGA port (both older monitors from my previous pc). I was previously getting an error when I opened Photoshop which said "Photoshop has encountered a problem with the display driver, and has temporarily disabled enhancements which use the graphics hardware. Check out the manufacturer's website for the latest software... etc..." which is why I contacted Dell to update the driver. They have a list of drivers for my system and suggested I try the first 3 in order. The first 2 wouldn't install but the third did and although the display driver error has disappeared now, Photoshop keeps crashing.
My version of Photoshop is CS6 13.0.1 x64

Photoshop cs6 CC doesn't work properly

Hi Adobe ,
I just join the creative cloud and after installing adobe Photoshop CS6 CC i discovered a few problem during designing. After a while my shortkey such as cmd+J and cmd+G don't work anymore, I have to restart Photoshop all over again and then it works properly and within a few minutes the shortkey are out again. What is the problem? Can you help out.
I'm using a Apple iMac 21,5 inch with OS X 10.8.2.
Hope you can help me because this is quite anoying!

Are Photoshop and OS fully updated and have you performed the usual trouble-shooting routines (trashing prefs by pressing command-alt-shift/ctrl-alt-shift while starting Photoshop until the appropriate dialog appears after making sure all customized presets like Actions, Patterns, Brushes etc. have been saved and making a note of the Preferences you’ve changed, 3rd party plug-ins deactivation, system maintenance, cleaning caches, font validation, etc.)

Photoshop CS6 is installed, do I need CC or can it be uninstalled

I started Adobe Application Manager from the desktop icon, I assumed it was for checking for and installing updates for
Photoshop CS6, but it in fact is an installer for CC. I allowed the installation to complete rather than quit partway through
and be a problem to clean up.
So now I have CC installed and do not know if it is needed. I am not intending to become a CC subscriber or use any of the
CC features or apps. Is CC needed if I am only running a local install of Photoshop CS6?. Can I safely remove it?

After much reading, I decided to uninstall Creative Cloud as it seems like it is only required for subscribers. So after a successful uninstall, I tested Photoshop CS6 and Bridge, there were no problems that I could see. I will post another reply if any problems occur.

Error popping up in Photoshop CS6

I am having a program error pop up when I attempt to use my tools in Photoshop CS6. I have encountered this problem quite a few times over the past few months and each time it happens I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe Creative Suite. But this doesn't seem to be fixing the problem. So, I was wondering if you guys had any solutions. Please let me know soon as I need to get this issue resolved soon. Thank you.

Photoshop cs6 opens on Photoshop extended windows. Impossible to open standalone program. I never suscribed to extended,. Photoshop extendes doesn't appear in my programs list.

I have used Photoshop cs6 since two years without any problem. Yesterday, when trying to open it, a message appeared : "Internal problem in photoshop (code 16). Please reinstall photoshop.
So did I. But now, when I try to open photoshop, a window appears with photoshop extended proposing to go to the net for subsciption. I say no, the window closes an that's all.
I never susscribed to adobe extended programs and do neither have photoshop extended in my program list nor in the registery base.

Thank you. That solved that problem. I still can't get Windows 7 to associate TIF files to Photoshop. It's associated to it in Bridge, but when I try in Windows control panel, the file shows as being associated to Paint. When I try to change it, Photoshop is not even on the list of available programs. When I Browse to the directory and click Photoshop.exe, nothing happens. The association doesn't change and Photoshop does not appear as a choice. So I have no idea what to try next.
