Photoshop CS6 pentool reaction rate was slower than the first use of Photoshop CS6 pentool. I wonder the fundamental cause and solution rather than optimization.

I have no problem with CS6 Pen tool performance. Its instantaneous. I'm using Windows 7 Pro and CS6 version 13.1.2. on a Dell workstation PC.

Create a playlist, add/delete albums and sync this playlist.
You don't need to manually manage the iPhone music to do this.

Hello,
Usually pink\purple background appears when "Show Grid Overlay" is enabled.
please go to View > Hide Grid Overlay and see if it works.
I am not sure if it will fix the problem as you said that pink\purple background appears when you place a swf file only.
If this do not fix the problem I would request you to share the screenshot of the design mode for better idea of the problem.

Reset Password starting from Recovery HD
Start the computer,then press and hold down command and R keys to start into recovery partition.
When you see the Apple logo, release the keys.
Wait until OS X Utilities window shows up.
Move the mouse to the menubar at the top and click "Utilities", then select "Terminal"
from the drop down.
Terminal window will appear.
Type in resetpassword and press enter on the keyboard.
Leave the Terminal window open.
Reset Password Utility window will open with Macintosh HD selected.
Select the user account from the popup menu box.
Enter a new password.
Reenter the new password for the user.
Enter a hint.
Click the "Save" button.
Click  in the menubar and select Restart.
Log in.
If Keychain dialog box appears, select “Create New Keychain”.

Build JSF Solutions rather than a hundred 'open source' frameworks

Hi,
It seems to me that frequently when people post queries about problems they're having with JSF, somebody will send a reply back telling them how myFaces or Tiles, or some other 'Open Source' soulution solves this one problem for them.
It makes me wonder whether we need 100 less than adequate solutions, rather than have a complete and powerful JSF. Of course, having other options is good, but when you're up against a fully functional and wonderful to work with solution like ASP.NET and ASP Server Controls, you can't very well pitch your 100 kinda-sorta-solutions.
This isn't a myFaces or Tiles Forum, and while I appreciate learning about what they have to offer, I'd much rather the conversations focus on how to improve JSF so it blossoms into something of an ASP.NET killer.

Is there anyway to archive old queries and workbooks rather than deleting?

Our environment has thousands of old queries and workbooks. We plan to delete any object that has not been used within 13 months, but there's a concern we may someday need a few of the reports that will be deleted.
Is there a way to archive old queries and workbooks rather than deleting them?
Is there another approach to solving this matter?

This is really a intersting question as this is a reality as many BW reports are not used/accessed by users but still they have tendancies of sitting on these reports.
I wanted to suggest to carry-out report usabilty analys. This analysis u can carry out by using BW statistics/standerd queries/new queries in technical cubes showing usability data. If u found that a perticalar BW report is not been used for long time, u can discuss the usability of this report with the report user ( as it is a normal practice of owning BW report by user/user group across industry ), if user is no longer uses it Or do not need it any more, it will be better to delete those reports, this will free up some resources and will reduce the junk. ( if user wants these queries ask him to use it or it will better to personalise report in his desktop easing him to see those reports. )
Changing the technical names of the query as suggested by Bhanu will have follwing effects.
1. It will add more reports in repository leading to junk
2. Old queries still be assigned to user roles, so collide with user authorisation.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Well, whichever device you uncheck = exclude from calendars (and reminders) via iCloud will be excluded as both, receiver and sender. It's an "all or nothing", I guess. Otherwise it'd get more complicated, and the support calls could easily fill an extra forum...
@lmp68: don't think iTunes is it, in the days of iCloud that would sure take quite an extra effort, if possible at all.

Made mistake and restored rather than synched, but got restore error.

I purchased two 3G's this morning and while attempting to sync one of the phones and move info from an old iPhone to the new, ran into a problem.
My first operation went ok, (see my other post Transferring EVERYTHING from iPhone to 3G iPhone). I noticed items such as Notes and text messages did not transfer with the sync.
So....when I went to do the same for my wife's phone I tried something different. (I recalled that when I locked my old iPhone and couldn't recall the password I had to restore it. Upon doing so I found that all my old text messages came back.) I had synced the phone for contacts, music etc but before disconnecting the 3G decided to restore.
Bad Idea apparently. The restore stopped midstream and I received a message stating "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2005)." Strangely the iPhone was labeled "Julie's iPhone" at the Apple Store this morning rather than simply "iPhone" as the error message showed.
All could do was click the OK button, at which point the display on the 3G showed an iTunes icon with a cable below it, apparently asking that I plug the phone into the computer to connect with iTunes. The phone already was connected. In addition the iPhone, called "Julie's iPhone" was no longer showing in iTunes.
I've tried powering off the phone, restarting the computer and now the summary on the phone as simply "iPhone" and all other information such as serial number, size of phone etc as "n/a". A subsequent attempt to restore yielded the same error message.

After talking to Apple Care it was determined the phone was stuck in recovery. A second attempt to restore worked.

I was recently searching in my iPhone 3GS for a phone number, and the search hits revealed text messages that I have long ago deleted and would rather not have in my iPhone. How do I delete these once and for all?

It was the strangest thing. You would think that once you delete a message off your phone it is gone.
But in the "search iPhone" feature several key numbers like an area code reveal phone numbers of people
who aren't in my contact list, specifically the first few words of text messages that I deleted long ago.
I would like to eliminate these once and for all.
Will "Erase Content and settings" do this for good? Once I restore the phone will they come back?

How to get the name and the path of the font used in photoshop (not textItem.font)

I'm trying to get the real name of the font and the path, is there a "easy" way to do it ?
i need to get the font file (*.ttf or *.otf) and copy to the same directory as the psd file, that's why textItem.font doen't work for me.

You could try this as it looks as if you are using Windows.
Run the VBS script to create a fontlist file on the desktop.
Then run the javaScript on the PSD document.
It should copy the fonts to the same folder as the document, it will also create a text file with a list of fonts.
It didn't find all the fonts in my test psd maybe because it wasn't in the windows/font folder?
