Photoshop CS6 Stops Functioning Please Help

Notes:
Photoshop is up to date.
Performance settings in photoshop are set correctly.
Monitor Profiles are not defective.
Images/Files are not corrupted.
Issue:
After a fresh restart of my PC Photoshop will function as normal for a short while (1hr appx.) after that it ceases to import/export or do any of it's intended functions. I CANNOT import ANY files. I am not presented with any error messages and it simply doesn't work. Buttons appear to highlight and the toolbars are still accessible, however I cannot continue with my work. If I then restart my computer it will function for a short while again then this will happen.
Things I have done:
Reinstalled Photoshop CS6
Deleted Preferences (Multiple Times)
Contacted Adobe Support in which case they failed to fix the problem.
I am at a null and I don't know what to do and it is costing me money. Someone please help.
Do you have any third party plugins? Have you tried disabling them?
What utility programs and system extensions are you using? Have you tried disabling them?
The fact that it requires you to restart the system means that the problem is almost certainly at the system level (utilities, drivers, system extensions, etc.).

The Adobe auto updater is pretty decent in CS6. Just go to the Photoshop Help menu > Updates.
You will be able to update ACR, Photoshop and Bridge right there, if there are in fact updates available. -

settings - general - usuage - music - delete. Then do a reset, hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then sync the music back via iTunes. -
Hello! I was on my Mac and then I clicked on iTunes. Then I clicked on Account, and accidentally removed my device from my Mac, how can I get it back? Is the iPod still singed into the account isn Settings>iTunes and App Stores and SettingsZ>iCloudl? If it is then I would not be concerned.

For the other "problem", go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says Prevent iPod....automatically syncing. -

i just installed an update my version is now MAC OS X 10.7.5 and now imovie is no longer working. it just uses heaps of CPU and then stops responding. please help.
I cannot find any fixes online and i don't know what to dohere is the message. i tried deleting all my video files in iphoto and it still does not work.

im sorry to be a bit thick here i didnt know this was happening until i looked through all my photoes i use an sd card to put pictures on lap top and icloud from my phone but in library there are all web pages i have ever been to ie face book ebay etc i didnt know if there was any thing i should be turning off many thanks for ur last answer though

You could try syncing the contacts with yahoo or google contacts, then sync them to the iPhone. Or, export the contacts and then import them into one of the aforementioned servicse, or iCloud, then sync to the phone.

I have been using refine edge with no problem for months.
everything worked great!
I was able to extract out hair and edges very, very, very well...
but about 2 weeks ago...something changed... the refine edge brush no longer works.
When I click on Refine Edge... instead of a brush icon, I get the CIRCLE with a SLASH and my system keeps dinging because the tool is just not available.
I deleted my preferences...but it is still a problem
NOW... when I adjust the sliders, i don't see a preview of the adjustments...
Please help!!!!no difference.

Photoshop CS6 will not open any longer. Clicks on the icon on the desktop do nothing. Yet I was working with it yesterday. Bridge opened with my files populating it. I turned off computer hoping CS6 would reset. CS6 still does not open, but now Bridge opens without any of my files. Please HELP.

After opening and using photoshop cs6 for a few minutes I get a box popping up saying Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working. "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." So far never received any notifications about a solution. I notice that it closes soon after I try a CTRL T to select an image.
ok i found what I think you mean by updates when you open photoshop and under help it has updates but when I click on update it says Update Failed update could not be applied because you are already running the adobe application manager. please close all appliances of adobe application manager before applying updates.
