Photoshop CS6 upgrade from CS4 continually asks for serial number.

I purchased an upgrade from Photoshop CS 4 to Photoshop CS 6 directly from Adobe in December of 2012. (My version of CS4 was originally purchased by me as part of a CS4 Web Premium Suite.)
My CS4 version has worked since 2009 with no licensing issues.
I did not install the upgradeto CS6 immediately, I just installed it in August of this year, but I do not think that the problem stems from my delay in installation.
What happens is that every 6-8 times that I open the program, I get a screen asking me to "License Creative Cloud", which I do NOT want.
The only options I am given are: Join Now, License This Product, or Continue Trial.
If I simply X out of the screen, Photoshop CS6 will not open at all.
If I click: License This Product, I get a sign-in screen that asks for my serial number, which I fill in and then my program opens.
I have tried customer support 3 times - one chat and 2 phone calls (all lasting at least 1 hour each time) and I am not getting the correct help to solve this issue.
I am extremely frustrated and outraged that I am bothered by this stupid issue.
Please help me to stop this screen about Creative Cloud from appearing and from having to constantly input my serial number.

I upgraded to pshop CS6 two weeks ago but I also have CS3 and CS4 still installed on my mac. I had the problems with CS6 changing to an extended trial version and losing the license but it has now been working fine for the last few days.

I've been using CS4 daily for several years up until the past 2 weeks when I bought CS6.
Any idea why CS4 is asking for terms aggreement and a serial number again? if I procede to open CS4 and enter the numbers is there a chance it will break cs6?

Illustrator CS4 Trial asking for serial number

I just installed Illustrator CS4 TRIAL and it is stating that trial has expired and is asking for a serial number. I literally only downloaded this about an hour ago.
Does anyone have any ideas what is up with that?

You had another trial (of another product) and let it time out, locking the licensing system or another existing Adobe product is preventing the trial from running. Nothing you can do about it, unless you feel like wiping your computer and reinstalling your operating system from scratch plus al lthe software.

LR from CC, but asking for Serial Number! Pls help! URGENT!!!

I have LR and PS as part of my Photography Subscription to Adobe CC.
I was having a problem with LR, so I downloaded a trial version from the site and installed.
Now LR asks me for a Serial Number when I run the software. I don't have a Serial Number since this was part of the CC Subscription!
How do I revert my LR back to the normal - running from CC.
Pls help urgently! I have aclient deliverable tomorrow morning ...

Uninstalling and re-installing thorugh CC was the plan that came to my mind as well. But I'm reluctant to go that path coz I'm thinking I will lose all my collections etc that I've created over a period of time once I uninstall the current LR. And therefore I'll lose the thread of edits I've made to my pictures, the selections etc. How can I avoid that loss?
I have backed up my catalog though - I think I should be able to retrieve all those collection/selection information from that catalog?
Another question.
Broadband at home has been down for the last couple of days. So I'm not able to download the LR from CC on my desktop at home.
Can I login to CC from another computer at a friends place, download LR and take it home on USB and install on my desktop? I could sign in to CC once my Internet is back and running.
Is that an option?

If you were able to install, and Activate, the main use of the S/N is done. Now, you can register (a good thing for many reasons), but you should be able to check a Do Not Register box on the dialogue screen (at least in older versions), and not have the box pop up again. I'd only do this, if you have already registered your copy of PS.

Launching photoshop from dock. It asks for serial number. I enter serial number copied directly form my account with adobe.
Error says "This serial number is not valid for Adobe Photoshop CC."
I'm confused as to why Photoshop worked before on my laptop but now it does not. Did something expire? Do I need a separate serial number for a different computer (ie. my laptop). I don't understand.

ARD asking for Serial Number after Upgrade to OSX 10.9 and ARD 3.7?

I bought ARD 3.6.1 back in 2012 from MAC Store. Yesterday, I decided to upgrade to OSX Mavericks and the upgrade forced ARD to update to 3.7 from 3.6.1 and now ARD is asking for serial number... Never had a Serial Number since I bought it from Mac Store. Anyone with same problem?

App Store Update says I have 3.7 already installed.

Not sure how that would happen but you should be able to revert to the Mac App Store version with the following steps:
1. Launch the App Store app
2. Go to the Purchases secton and verify that Apple Remote Desktop is showing in your list
3. Assuming it's in your list, delete Remote Desktop.app from /Applications
4. Verify that Remote Desktop.app is not installed on any other mounted volumes using Spotlight
5. If it is installed then either unmount those volumes or delete the app from those other locations
6. Go back to the Purchases section of the App Store app
7. If Apple Remote Desktop is shown as "Installed" then select "Reload Page" from the "Store" menu
8. The entry for Apple Remote Desktop should now give you the option to "Install"
9. Click "Install"
After installation you should have the correct Mac App Store version that does not prompt for a serial number.

Photoshop CC keep asking for Serial Number. Adobe has charged my credit card 5x since June, but my Photoshop CC still doesn't work.

This is also happening to me.
I've been a subscriber for the last year and a bit.
I've moved to a new computer at home and since then I've been getting this prompt even though I'm signed in, everytime I've opened photoshop. Now the trial has expired and I'm cut off from using it.
This is total BS.
I've spent the last 2.5 hours going thru every adobe support doc they've posted. Nothing works. Two hour wait on the phone, 2.5 hour wait to chat (if I'm lucky and the window manages to stay open).

Keeps asking for serial number since upgrading

Just took the plunge and despite some dodgy reviews, I upgraded elements via a disc install. Now each time I open it, it asks for serial number and assumes I am still on trial. This despite my account showing it is registered. Also it has up graded and not brought any plug ins with it to the newer versions.
Think I will just stick to Lightroom completely and write this version off.
Any advice on sorting this buggy upgrade out?

Please then use your web Browser address http://www.adobe.com/ and sign in with your Adobe User ID and Password to your account the has your Subscription and use https://www.adobe.com/account/my-products-services.html capture the page which shows you have a subscription like I showed you I have.
Open Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application use the APP tab and capture that scree to show Photoshop is installed and up to date like I did. Capture that screen. Show us you have installed Photoshop and its up to date.
Open Photoshop and use menu Help it should show tha its activated because there will be a menu item Sign Out. If it is Sign In, Sign in using the account that has the subscription the one you used above to Activate Photoshop.

First thing to try is delete the app. Open the Mac App Store and the status in the Purchases section should update to "Install". Click to download the full app rather than an update.

Uninstall the serial-number LR5, the one you have installed, now, then quit the CC Desktop application (gear/quit or right-click quit), then restart the CC Desktop application, which will rescan and see that LR is no longer installed, and will offer LR in the CC Desktop apps list with an Install button next to it, so install that version.
