Photoshop CS6 want to find camera raw plugin 8.3 for my nikon d610 can someone help me please...

I just recently downloaded and installed photoshop cs6 and the highest camera raw update i have is camera raw 7 and my camera (NIKON D610) requires camera raw 8.3 i've updated the camera raw plugin to the highest thats available in the software update but i read that camera raw 8.3 is now available but i can't seem to locate it on the internet or adobe website to upgrade my camera raw plugin to 8.3. can someone please help me and show me where i can find a download link for camera raw 8.3 thank you for taking the time to read this and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Why not update CS6 to use ACR 8.6? If CS 6 menu Help>Updates does not update ACR to 8.6 try downloading the update manually and inst stall it.

That camera model has been supported since ACR 8.3 and it is most certainly supported by ACR 8.6 and ACR 8.7 (beta).
Either you have damaged, corrupt image files, or a faulty Photoshop and/or ACR installation.
If there are no privacy issues, you can post one of your files to the FTP service of your choice (such as Dropbox or yousendit.com), post the link to it, and someone here can take a look at it for you.

Since you are using one of the the school's Macbooks, it is quite possible that the time and date are not properly set on the computer that you are using. FaceTime will not work if you do not have the proper time zone set up for the location that you are in. This past week, there were a two other Macbook users I've helped by simply telling them to set the Date/Time properly. By the way, you described your problem very well, which makes it easier for us to help you. Hope this solves your problem -- if not, post back and I can suggest other remedies.

Photoshop CS4 doesn't recognize camera raw plugin on yosemite

I've been using Photoshop CS4 with the camera raw plugin for many years without issue. I recently got a new computer with Yosemite and when I installed PsCS4 it no longer worked with RAW files (5D mkii). I just tried downloading the newest version of the camera raw plugin, but Photoshop doesn't seem to recognize it. What can I do?

The “latest version of camera raw” would be ACR 8.7.1 and that is only compatible with PS-CS6 or newer.
PS-CS4 would probably install with ACR 5.0 but the 5D Mark II needs at least ACR 5.2. The latest version of ACR you can install for PS-CS4 is ACR 5.7 which may be what you had on your old computer.
The usual way to update your Camera Raw plug-in would be to do PS / Help / Updates and let it check to see what is available, so try that.
I am not sure if that process still works, but you’re in luck because Adobe was still putting links to their installers on the website back in the CS4 era, so you should be able to download an installer and run it to get ACR 5.7 installed, from here:

It’s possible that something in the newest OS will prevent this installer from working, of course, but at least try.

I would like to update my Camera Raw plug in for Photoshop 5 to include the Nikon D810 can someone help me?

I'm on a iMac OS 10.9.2 using ps5 and I'd like to update my Camera Raw plug in to include the Nikon D810.
Anyone have the best way of approaching this,I keep running into problems.

I've got some good news and some bad news.
The bad news is that the D810 didn't get out-of-the-box support until Camera Raw 8.6...which isn't available in your version of Photoshop. To get support, you'll have to upgrade to a newer version of Photoshop.
Otherwise, the good news is that you can download the free DNG Converter, which will allow you to convert those RAW files for use in Adobe apps.

Did you buy PSE in the mac app store? If not, just go to Help>Updates in the editor and update camera raw and you should be able to open the raw files in PSE 12 directly without the DNG converter.
