I purchased creative cloud today over the phone. I downloaded photoshop and lightroom 5. Photoshop did not download and add an icon on desktop but lightroom 5 did. Why did photoshop not download. It shows in the apps that it did but is not there

How can I re-download certain applications that did not download properly?

I downloaded the creative suite but some apps such as photoshop and dreamweaver did not download properly. When I go to open the application I get the error message saying it may be damaged or incomplete. Is there a way to go back and download just the certain applications that did not download properly?

In case of perpaptual license you can download the trial of presently avialable CS6 software from http://adobe.com/downloads and activate the software by using the serial number and Adobe ID.

JPEG's should Import just fine, provided that they are in RGB Color Mode. CMYK, not that common in JPEG's, will not.
With Still Images, there are some things to consider:
The Color Mode, mentioned above - should be RGB
File resolution - pixel x pixel dimensions only - should be less than 4096 x 4096 pixels, and if one has many, then they should be Scaled in Photoshop, or similar, to no larger than 2000 x 1500 pixels, for an HD Project. What are the pixel x pixel dimensions of the problem JPEG's? See this article on Scaling Still Images: http://forums.adobe.com/message/2200755#2200755
It is possible that the files' header info is corrupt, or poorly written - if Photoshop will Open them, then PrE should be able to Import them. If PS cannot Open then, it will usually be because of the JPEG header info, and Opening them in a less-strict program, like IrfanView, and then just doing a Save_As JPEG, will work.

Purchased add-on did not download

I have just purchased an add-on (Soft Pastel Presets) and followed all instruction but it did not download to my creative cloud file on my computer. In looking anywhere, I have no link, no confirmation with link--I did receive confirmation of the purchase from Adobe as well as PayPal but not the actual thing I purchased with a link. So I have no file to unzip and install. Any suggestions on what to do to find and download it is greatly appreciated!

@Jonathan, I tried it all. Like I said, Adobe support took my computer screen over for over 2 hours and could not do it. It just was not working; period. They also tried the second method and it was not working. Nothing was working. But how does it make it easier on the whole when the manual install is 2 easy steps--including the unzip? Why is it so important to simplify something that is already simple? Every plug in or preset has always been easy to install. The extension manager is just one more "hold" on the part of Adobe to lower the chances of easy switch-over to plugs that make the job easier. Take Nik's Viveza for example. Everything it does can be done by a Photoshop user with approximately 10 times as many steps and layers as with one click in Viveza... I can see why Adobe would like to give a hard time to Nik... but I can also see why Nik may want to start competing with Adobe... just food for thought (and let's not forget who owns Nik now!)
I have it installed after I asked for the zip file from the vendor and I installed it the old fashioned way--and glad she responded right away. Who needs the extension manager complications and hours of other people (in this case Adobe support) working on my computer so I cannot do anything else when I can install it in 1 minute the old fashioned way?
Another thing: those of us who use Photoshop are techies by definition.... the Extension manager is for people who are not techies. Does it make sense from the perspective of the user? No. Does it makes sense from the perspective of Adobe for control? You bet.
But enough of the politics of it all; something you cannot change obviously but I as an ex corporate executive see through it quite well and despise it!
I understand (and agree) that the HTML panels are better (and safer) than the flash panels but there is an unnecessary and deliberate time lag enforced by Adobe.
I asked some of the plug manufacturer's and they said that Adobe communication is minimal so they are not able to modify what they need to do for their panels to work in the new Photoshop. I feel (know) it is on purpose from Adobe since it wants to remain King in the market but I can see other companies closing up. No, they do not yet have all the features but do you think they eventually will? You bet. And when they do, there will be a mass migration from Photoshop to others. There is a reason for Adobe stock prices falling again... Luckily I sold mine long time ago.

Given that you are staff, you may pass the information on to corporate execs... it may help them see that what they are doing will become a corporate failure on the long run since the majority of Photoshop users are small fish photographers and painters... there is Capture and several others coming up fast.. and Corel too of course. Not one is a subscription service I may add...
I already reduced my monthly subscriptions to the bare minimum and even that at a discount as I noticed.. well... Adobe is giving a discount means... it is not selling.

Apple IDs do not go out of existence. All purchases are PERMANENTLY associated with whatever ID was used for the purchase. Go here to investigate.

Try this.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Delete the incomplete tracks from your library, sending them to recycle bin, then download them again from your purchased history. If the problem persists use the "report a problem" links from your account history to contact the iTunes store support staff.
Are the incomplete tracks ones that you had previewed before purchasing the album? If so there may be a bug that needs reporting. See this recent post which explains why I ask the question...

I had this problem as well but found the soultion on another post from turingtest2 - it worked for me:
Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (Later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or by right-clicking the downloaded installer and selectingRun as Administrator.
