Photoshop Elements 11 download doesn't contain a valid Mac installer

I just purchased an upgrade copy of Photoshop Elements 11 to install on my Mac.
The download link indiccated it is for both WIN and Mac.
Once I downloaded the bundle, it expanded to two files -- one is called "PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.exe (for windows) and the other called "PhotoshopElements_11_WWEFDJ.7z" which I assume is the Mac installer, but the .7z extension isn't recognized.
How shall I resolve this?

Both of those files are Windows editions. I ordered Windows version by mistake and those are the files I received. I'm on the phone with customer service..800-833-6687

Photoshop Elements 13 doesn't start after Update to Win8.1 (MSVCR110.dll is missig)

Hello everybody
I installed the Update from Win8 to Win8.1
Now Photoshop Elements 13 doesn't start.
The mistake/error: "The program doesn't start, because MSVCR110.dll is missing. Re install the program."
So I re installed Photoshop but the mistake is still there.
What can I do?

Photoshop elements 13 doesn't recognize my Epson scanner

I have a Epson Workfoce 545 wireless printer/fax/scanner and newly installed Elements 13 doesn't recognize the scanner. Do any of you in this community have a suggestion?

The scanner is NOT present in the network. The "all in one printer" that the scanner is a part of is listed, however.

What have I to do, becauce Photoshop Elements 13 doesn't recognize Samsung images? I have Samsung camera so I need Photshop Elements 13 Organizer recognize Samsung images. Canon images it recognaze.

there are two photos, the first SAM4434 is the photo which PSE 13 import
correctly, the second photo SAM4113 is which PSE 13 can't import. There is
the third enclose where is an information that PSE 13 doesn't import the
photo because the photo is on Organizer or PSE 13 doesn't recognize a file.
The information is in Finnish but the information is what I have translated
on this e-mail. PSE 13 doesn't recognize the file because it is not on
Organizer. The both photos has taken by Samsung NX200 camera, There have
never been that kind of problem by Canon camera taken photos

I have the serial number and solution disk and everything it came with BUT the installation disc. How do I download it on my new laptop without installation disk?

It would help if you would tell us which version. If it's PSE 12, just install the trial and enter your serial number into that.

How do I transfer my Photoshop Elements 11 from my pc to my mac? If I try to download it off the website, it wants my to download Photoshop Elements 12 which doesn't recognize my seriel number. I don't want to buy Photoshop Elements 12. I want to use my Photoshope Elements 11.

You do know the mac version of PSE has no Organizer?
You can use file>Write Tags and Properties to File(s) on your files in the organizer before sending them to your mac to write the tags into the file's metadata, which can be read by Bridge, iphoto, aperture, etc. on the mac. (It doesn't work for raw files and it doesn't always work, so do a couple of test files first.) You'll need to make tags for categories and albums, too, in order to be able to sort by those criteria again.

I don't know if things have changed (I get the feeling they have as of late), but normally an Elements license can be applied to either platform, so you should be able to download the trial version for the Mac and use the serial number to activate it. If you have any problem you should be able to resolve it with customer spport thru chat.
