Photoshop Elements 11 not showing all options

I have a full version of Adobe Elements 11; as I am working on my son's senior pictures I noticed that I cannot chose all the options anymore. No layering, some of the effects are not working. Has anyone had these issues and how do I fix it?

Are you in Expert mode (click the word Expert at the top of the screen if it isn't highlighted). If that's not it, do you have a 16-bit image (look at the top of the image window or tab--do you see an 8 or a 16?). If it's a 16-bit image, then image>mode>8 bits/channel.

Have you run Firefox, Pidgin, Flash, etc as root? If not, I don't think there will anything in the root home for BleachBit to clean anyways.

DBCA is not showing all options

Could any one shed some light on why DBCA showing few options and why not showign other options? -- 3 node RAC environment

BPC 7 NW version - DataManager not showing all options

Hi,
I'm currently working on BPC 7.0 NW version. When I click on "Run a Data Management Package" the DM window that pop's up does not show the standard window with the "Teams, Package Group and Package Names" panes instead what appears are only two panes with the first pane showing just the "Company" folder and the second pane showing the Package Names of the Datamanagement package in the form of large folders.
What could be the problem?

I faced a similar problem couple of weeks ago, and tried several things; first of all, reinstall BPC NW under the following instructions:
1. Uninstalled BPC for Office and BPC Administration.
2. Deleted C:\Documents and Settings\username\My Documents\OutlookSoft folder
3. Deleted C:\Program Files\BPC folder
4. Removed the OUTLOOKSOFT entry from the registry. Start Menu \ Run \ cmd \ regedit. Delete the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OUTLOOKSOFT folder.
5. Reboot PC.
I also tried notes 1098742 and 1108598.
In my case, I had to reinstall windows and intall BPC again, and now is working OK.

Save Folder Screen not showing all options

Hi All
I had a question regarding SO Form header.
I need to get the action Fulfillment Acceptance in Sales Order Form header (SO Form > (B) Actions > Fulfillment Acceptance) but not able to get it.
One method is to configure it by creating a folder. I am trying to do following to achieve this:
1) Open Sales Order Form
2) Navigate (M)Folder > New
3) It opens a "Save Folder" screen with a few options.
Now the issue is that the screen is not proper. I must also see other regions such as "Order Tabs", "Configure Buttons", "Line Tabs", "Line Details" etc. but I am not able to see them.
Profile option "Folders: Allow Customization" is set to Yes at user level.
Any help would be appreciated.

Photos Program Not Showing All Options

I updated my iPhone's OS to iOS4 yesterday. In my Photos program, I am missing two tabs at the bottom of the program window, the Faces tab most notably. I only have the Albums and Places tabs.
This means that I cannot created folders or move my pictures as I thought I was going to be able to.
Can someone provide me with an answer as to why this happened or what I need to do to resolve the issue?

I had Events and Faces... and then it went away. Even Anandtech.com (http://www.anandtech.com/show/3779/apples-ios-4-explored/5) only shows Albums and Places. I have verified that I have Faces checked in iTunes for syncing.
How many photos do you have in your library? I started out with <2000. It seems that as soon as I piled on more photos, the Events and Faces options disappeared. I have 9700 on the phone right now.

k,well I followed all the instructions to get pics in, I connected my ipod with my computer and I opened iTunes. But when the directions state, "When the iPod icon appears in iTunes, select it and click the Photos tab" I can't find the Photos tab! Instead of showing me tabs, it displays an agreement document. I read it, check the box showing that I agree and understand the terms and click save. NOTHING HAPPENS! also, for some reason, part of the page is cut off and I can scroll sideways to see it. Photoshop Open dialog does not show all files

I've been noticing that unconsitantly the Photoshop Open dialog does not show all PSD files in a folder, some are just plain missing. In Finder they show up like normal though. Anyone else with this problem?

The open and save dialogs are provided and mostly run by the OS, not the application.
It sounds like you might have a filter set on your open dialog (like the search option).

Finder option not showing all the options

Hi, the finder option in MAC shows "mobile partner" when plugged on to internet...it does not show other options like folder, documents, drives etc. Can anyone please tell me how to access these drives and folders through finder when the internet is ON.

Is Copy Paste Pans & Zooms Possible in Photoshop Elements Slide Show Editor Slideshow?

In the Photoshop Elements Slide Show Editor, someone wants to create a unique pan and zoom effect for one photo and be able to apply it the the rest of the photos in the Filmstrip without having to do that on an individual photo basis.
In the Slide Show Editor, Edit Menu/Apply Pan & Zoom to All Slides or Apply Pan & Zoom to Selected Slide(s) does not get the job done. Instead it looks like it just applies the default Photoshop Elements pan and zoom. I have investigated several routes to the goal unsuccesful and have concluded that Photoshop Elements Slide Show Editor offers no such copy paste pans & zoom feature.
I have detailed how to add more than one pan & zoom per slide, how to get the pan & zoom copy/paste job done in Premiere Elements, either doing all the pan & zoom in Premiere Elements or creating the pan & zoom in Photoshop Elements for one slide, using Send to Premiere Elements, Break Apart Adobe Photoshop Elements Slideshow, copy/paste of the transferred pan & zoom. Believe it or not, that does work. I know that there will be skeptics who feel that the pan & zoom timing would be distored, but....This person does not have or want Premiere Elements in the equation. So, I am looking for a way out for her.
I am posting the question here for someone to confirm my conclusion or offer a way that has escaped me. If someone has found a way, he/she will be fully created for the contribution and thanked.

Text Entry Box not showing all text

I am creating a simple exercise where I would like the user to copy text from the course, paste it into word, and report back what the word count is. I thought perhaps the Text Entry Box would be the best way to go, since if you click on the existing (default) text, you can copy it. However after I place the paragraph of text in the box, and resize in the editor so that all the text shows, it does not show all the text when playing back, either previewd or published. It only shows the last few words of the last line at the top of the box.
Is there something I am missing? Or, is there an easier/better way to do what I need?

If this is Captivate 4, there may not be any need for a widget to do this. I'm guessing you haven't tried enabling the Scroll Bar for the Text Entry Box (TEB)?
When I just plop a TEB on a slide, I get this in edit view:
During playback it looks like this:
But if I edit the TEB properties and enable the Show Scrollbar option:
I get this in the output:

In solution manager system not showing all the system in SLD

Dear Gurus,
During the installation of solution manger sysyem i selected as a Central SLD as solution manager
Later installed ECC 6.0 and EP systems selected SLD as solution manager system during the instllation.
If i login in to http://hostname:50000/sld (solution manger system) and the screen also not showing all the options also. some options missing in the tab. Wat I need to do to see all the options clearly.
It is not showing all the systems if i check in EP and ECC for SLDCHECK it is not givng any errror.
But if i login into solution manger not able to see all the system in SLD.

Filter Panel in Bridge not showing all the categories

I am using Bridge CS5 and I download my photos to my laptop using Canon's EOS Utility program. In the Filter Panel on the left I get only a few catogories for some folders where for other folders I get the total of the categories. When I do click on a folder, then while it is collecting all the photos you can see all the categories for a few seconds but then it ends with sometimes just 3 categories. I am using Windows 7 on a 64bit laptop. All the categories in the dropdown box are also marked but still they do not show all in the panel.
What I now saw was if I go to the thumbnails in the Content Panel and I just click on a thumbnail and move it around and back again then a small 600byte ".bridgesort" icon appears and then all the categories show in the Filter Panel for that folder. Anybody knows what is going on? Thanx

The filter panel reflects the data of the content panel and while it seems this panel has a mind of its own it only shows categories if there is a choice in a category to filter. For instance having landscape and portrait files in the folder orientation shows landscape and portrait, if you want only landscape this is an option to use this filter for showing only landscape in the content panel. When you have only landscape in the folder there is nothing you can filter because everything is the same and therefor it shows no option for it.

You obviously have used the menu View / show hidden files activated. What you see is a small file that contains data for the sort order you have used. The moment you move one file to a new position the sort order changes to manual.
If you deselect the option to show hidden files you won't see this file also.
