Photoshop Elements 12 install issue [edited by host]

I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 on April 14 2014. I installed it on a PC that Crashed due to a defective Power Supply and Case. I have finally rebuilt the PC and have my Serial Number. How do I get it back on my machine? It is the same motherboard, BIOS, CPU and RAM with Win7 Pro 64 bit SP1 back up and running well. All of the other programs that I purchased at the same time were very easy to re-install. WHY IS ADOBE NOT?

I downloaded a 'trial' edition of Elements 12. When it installed it asked if it was a trial or if I had an activation code. I entered what I have and it completed installing. Running it the first time tells me I have 7 days to complete (can't remember other than login info.) Hope this works!

When I installed it first, I ordered a serial number for the product - but I don´t have this number already.
Do I need a new serial number?

A re-install on the same machine should not need a new serial number. If on new machine, or formatted hard drive you will need serial number.

The "restore disk" is built into the Mac. See About Recovery.
Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

Brooks lansing if you create a new Administrator account does the same issue occur? If so then it is likely that there is a file permission failure and file permissions have been set for the existing Users instead of the groups they belong to.
Have you removed and reinstalled Photoshop Elements 11? This may reset the file permissions to the correct state to allow it to work under new accounts.

A redemption code can only be redeemed once. It is used to acquire a serial number. The serial number is what you need to activate the installed software. If you did not keep the serial number when you first installed, you might still be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software.

I have Photoshop Elements 11 installed now installing Premier Elements 11. Install is asking to choose 32bit or 64bit install. The computer is 64 bit. If I choose that during the install of Premier will that cause any problems with Photoshop and especially organizer since that is shared between the two?

Photoshop Elements 12 installed in laptops?

I recently read a coment in Amazon in which the person said that Elements 12 have problems when installed in laptop. The program keep shooting down. Another person with the same problem said that the cause was a program "autoanalyzer" I think. It is true? What information do you have about this. How this can be solved or prevented? I have a Sony Vaio with windows 8. I do not have the program but I am thinking in buying it.

First of all, what is asking for a reinstall? Did you move PSE from another computer?

Downloaded photoshop elements 12, installed ok and activated, started it and splash screen displayed and app launched then shutdown

Repeat and crashes again. Help it won't start!

Solved! Tried everything in the support documents and none of it worked. Massive frustration with Adobe Chat staff who know nothing and just kept telling me to look at the support documents over and over. They also gave me a contact number in Australia that has a recorde d message saying the product is not supported! What is that about?
Finally Anand from Adobe tech support called me (from when I reopened the original support case that gave me the serial number).
Just had to rename folder SLCache in c:\program files(x86) and reaccept the EULA and reactive. Now everything works fine. Way to hard.

Photoshop elements 11 install

Purchased a elements 11 disk from a store.
After it finishes installing it says application has failed to install Shared Technologies.
The programme then starts rolling back the entire install and no programme is install
Any Help Please

Can't do or understand some of the things in that link.
As it rolls itself back and theres no files to work on.
Tried it on my other computer and it loaded straight away. Both are Dell computers.
Any ideas?
