Photoshop Elements 12 License agreement

I'm trying to decide wether to get the App Store or «full» version of Photoshop Elements.
With the App Store version I can install on all my macs, which is nice. Do any of you know if I can do the same with the full version?
Regards
G. Helland

Full v12 can be installed on as many computers as you have, but only two can be signed in at any one time - necessary to use the software. Have you seen this feature comparison?

[EDIT] Plus the Mac App is still at v11.

Try launching the editor and entering your serial number there if asked.

  • Can't install Photoshop Elements 11 licensed version because of trial version

I can't install Photoshop Elements 11 licensed version because of trial version that is still on my computer and is not being completely uninstalled.  The intended folder to install has some files remaining from the trial version, and this prevents the licensed version from installing.  The intended folder from teh installer is Program Files (x86)/Adobe, but that has the trial version still there, which will not completely uninstall.

    Hi Steve,
Are you getting error message while installation.

  • Photoshop Elements 6 Licensing for this product has stopped working.

    Hello,
I have just done a clean install of Snow Leopard (after wiping my hard disk), then restored my system (without applications) from my Time Capsule. I have then successfully re-installed most of my software.
However, after re-installing Photoshop Elements 6 from the original DVD, I get the following error message:
Licensing for this product has stopped working. You cannot use this product at this time......
This appears as soon as I attempt to run the program from my Applications folder and Elements closes as soon as I click OK and does not allow me to input my license key.
    Anyone any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Philip.

    Hiya Philip M,
most Adobe products work by the licencing system installing some sort of "correct" answer-code when adobe connects to verify the authenticity of your product. I think, you may have to contact Adobe.
When I ran Macromedia Dreamweaver, you were able to "transfer licence" (PRIOR to uninstalling from one machine and installing on another), which would send the signal to "free up" the correct (and authentic) licence and then install on your other machine. This facility has been removed (no doubt to protect the product) and I had to pay for a new disk (a bit of a pain); maybe you are luckier but check adobe's help site:
    http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshopelements/
    good luck

  • Photoshop Elements 7 licensing stopped working? (150:30)

I just got a new hard drive and restored it with the data that was backed up from my old hard drive.  Now Photoshop Elements 7 says that the licnesing has stopped working (error 150:30).  I don't have the original disk because I got it many years ago.  Can someone help me to fix this it's urgent because I need to finish a project.  Thanks

I told gatekeeper that it's okay.
I'm following these steps but I don't know where to locate the flexnet publisher folder and when I type sudo python on my terminal I get this error
    /usr/bin/python: can't find '__main__' module in '/Volumes/LicenseRecovery 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery'
Solution 2: Run the License Repair Tool
    Close all Adobe applications.
On your startup disk, locate and delete the following folder:
    [hard drive]/Library/Application Support/FlexNet Publisher/
Important: The path above points to the Library folder at the root of your startup disk, not the Library folder in your user home folder.
Enter your password if asked to authenticate the folder deletion.
Download the Adobe Licensing Repair Tool.
    Run the License Service Update.
    Mac OS X 10.7
    a. Double-click the LicenseRecovery111.dmgNote: Leave this window open and proceed to the next step.
    b. Double-click your Hard Drive.
    c. Double-click Applications.
    d. Double-click Utilities.
    e. Double-click Terminal.
    f. Type “sudo python “Note: There is a space following “python”. Do not press Return.
    g. Drag LicenseRecoveryLauncher.app from the LicenseRecovery111.dmg window onto the Terminal Window and press Return. Note: Make sure that the Terminal window has the command and the path to the APP file. For example: "sudo python /Volumes/LicenseRecovery\ 11.6.1/LicenseRecovery/LicenseRecover.py”
    h. Enter your administrator user name and password when prompted and click OK.
    i. Follow the onscreen instructions.

  • Photoshop Elements 8 license problem: supposedly using one version on more than one PC

    Hi!
I've got a problem with my license. Photoshop tells me that I can only use it for 30 days, since my license is already being used by 2 computers. In order to fix that I'm supposed to deactivate at least one version on another computer. Now the problem is, that it's the same computer but once I formatted the harddrive and the other time I had to exchange the harddrive. So as a result I'm still only using one Photoshop Elements, though Adobe thinks I'm already using two and I'm unable to deactivate the other versions, since they do not exist anymore.
How am I supposed to fix that now? I'd appreciate a solution if anyone can help me.
    Thanks

  • Photoshop Elements 6 License Recovery Problem

I have a 64bit HP with Vista Home Premium.  Last year I installed  Elements 6 and in order to get it to run I had to use the License Recovery File.  My network card went out in April of this year and a driver went out also.  They did a point restore to fix the driver problem.  Now when I try to run the License Recovery File to get elements running it only flashes a black screen, sometimes with white lettering and sometimes without.  Is there a way to solve this problem?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem with PSE 6 and a Canon LIDE 80 scanner -- PSE 6 will not recognize either the Canon plug in or even the TWAIN driver installed with PSE 6. Anyone else get PSE 6 to work with a scanner?
p.s. -- installed the new driver (which is the same as the old driver), rebooted, and still nothing. Scanner works perfectly with PSE 4.

  • Suddenly, my Photoshop Elements said "Licensing for this product has stopping working". What should I do?

It told me to uninstall it and reinstall it, or contact Adobe Customer support for help. Where is Adobe Customer Support? Here?

Well, kind of. This is the user to user forum. Which version of PSE and which platform?

    Hello Community,
a few months ago, I bought PSE 12. Yesterday I had to re-install all my programms in cause of a virus, Today I want to install PSE 12, but in the profile section where all of the programms that I bought should be, there is no PSE 12.
Can you tell me what is going on there ?
    Thank you now

    Sorry was my fault

  • Not possible to download purchased license for Photoshop Elements 11 on PC with Windows 8

I've no idea what to do now. I bought a Photoshop Elements 11 license and started downloading the Akamai installer program. In the instructions it says that Akamai will start downloading Photoshop Elements automatically but it didn't. I then tried downloading the two separate files and put them in the same folder, but when I double-click the program file I just get the message that the filing part of Ph. El. 11 is missing and that I must put them both in the same folder.
I've had bad experience from trying to downloading Adobe products in the past using a laptop with Windows 7 and now, having paid a substantial amount of money (for me, at least) and not being able to download the product is extremely frustrating. Please, if anyone knows how to solve this problem, I'd be so grateful ...

    Hi Soracte,
Please try downloading the software from: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=us .

  • Can I use my Photoshop Elements 7 if I bought it unregistered from another person?

    Hello.
I am having a question that fusses me lately. I just bought a Photoshop Elements 7 license from someone a few days ago. The person had won the software at a contest, at least that's what he told me, and never used the program. I installed it and registered it successfully which means that the product wasn't registered before me. However, I feel frustrated that I thought that the genuine proof on the box, the serial number on the cd case and the fact that is registered on my account, would be enough to qualify me as being the legal owner of the product. But I heard that I should also have a bill paper and a signed agreement paper from the man that I bought it from so that elucidates the authenticity of the transaction to assume it as being mine legally. I never bought any software from anyone else before so I wasn't aware about these things, I just thought that if I have the original case and original hologram on the box saying "genuine Adobe" , I can be sure I have a legal version of Photoshop Elements 7.  I want to ask you: should I worry that I can be fined by the authorities if I use the program ? Should I request some evidences to the one that I bought it from ?  I really don't know what to do.
    Thank you very much.

    Thank you.
I was referring to the registration popup when I run PSE for the first time... I entered my details there like name , address... and after I clicked on register, the registration window said "Thank you!" and my photoshop elements 7 appears listed in my Adobe account along with the serial number and software version. The thing is that I have entered my own name and address and other details which I cannot find anywhere now on the adobe page because the email I entered in the registration form was corresponding to a mail assigned to my adobe account. But I made the account long time ago and didn't put much attention to the details and wrote my name in short form..If it has any relevance for whoever controls the license from BSA if I plan to start any business and want to have it for commercial use...
How can I proove that it is my licence ? ? My name isn't written anywhere... I hope I don't have to buy another one
That's what I'm asking...: if they see that I'm the one that has access to my online adobe account (even if it not my actual name) and see the product registered there with my serial, and then I show them the box genuine Adobe with the same serial inside on the back of the cd's case, could they consider I use it legally? (I repeat I have no documents and I have no idea what documents I must have with the box, if there are any).
Thank you and sorry for writting so much.

  • Please help - license agreement keeps popping up in cs5

I can't open my installed trial of photoshop as the license agreement keeps popping up. Every time I open photoshop the licence agreement pops up - then i click accept - then it pops up again......... and again, and again etc.. please help me!!! will be so grateful

I have ruined my entire weekend trying to figure this thing out myself.  Sure would be nice if an engineer from Adobe
would actually dare to answer the question.  Here's a good one, where is my $1800.00 going.  A trip to England or in Adobe's non-responsive megalith pocket.  Hmmm I vote England.  CS5 blows.
