Photoshop Elements 13 Editor doesn't use the monitor description, loading a RAW-picture

I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad, Windows 7 pro, 64 bit. Loading a jpeg, all Parameter of the Monitor are used. Loading a RAW-file, not.

Two suggestions: the first one is a workaround. You just have to drill down your program file tree to Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer and find the .exe file - the one specifically for Organizer, not Elements. Make a shortcut to that file on your desktop and it will open Organizer. The second suggestion resolved the problem altogether for me. I actually called Dell and after working with several different techs over several different days, I talked to a tech in premium support who was excellent. I discovered from them that it is actually a problem with the windows system files. I have 8.1. I went through a "refresh" on my computer which rebuilt all the files. Then reinstalled Adobe as well as my other programs again and Photoshop Elements Organizer works from the standard desktop shortcut.

Which operating system are you using?
Some filters like Filter>Sketch>Stamp need to have two different colors for the Foreground and Background set in the toolbox.
Press the D key to set the default toolbox color swatches to Black and White and then try the Stamp filter.
If your using mac os x 10.9 or 10.10, then some of the filters under Filter>Sketch will crash pse 11
They are Filter>Sketch>Comic, Graphic Novel and Pen and Ink
Otherwise resetting the pse11 editor preferences might resolve the crashing.
Go to Photoshop Elements Editor(Edit)>General, click on Reset Preferences on Next Launch and then restart the pse 11 editor

I had the same issue and I'm running Windows 7. Tried working with technical support for several hours but they were no help. They just had me doing the same things over and over, offering no real answers. I finally got fed up and have decided to return my product for a full refund.

Photoshops elements 9 shuts down when using the Spot healing brush

Hello all, I just downloaded and installed a trial version of Photoshop Elements 9. Of course I wanted to use that supposedly great "heal" tool. The program seems to work fine, but as soon as I use the Spot Healing Brush, I get the message that something occured and the program has to shut down. It's installed on a Windows XP, SP3 PC. Photoshop Elements 9 shutting down when using the Spot Healing Brush

Hello! I recently downloaded and
installed the PSE 9 on my PC. Obviously I wanted to check out it's possibil
ities and especially the Spot Healing Brush. The program seems to work fine until I want to use the Spot Healing Brush
As soon as I try to apply something to a picture, I get the message something is wrong with "photoshopeditor.exe" and needs to shut down the program.
That's really annoying and hopefully someone may have the answer and solution why it does this. I run the program on Windows XP (SP3).

Photoshop Elements 13 Editor have been unexpected aborted.

I downloaded and installed Elements 13, but after starting the application an error message appears "Photoshop Elements 13 Editor unexpected aborted". The same happens for the applications manager.
I run the software on a Mac OS X Yosemite with 8G RAM. I tried to re-install, following one of the comments to use the Adobe Creative Cloud instead of the Applications Manager with the same effect. As soon as you start one of the application - the same error message occurs.
I have no Idea what I can do to run the software on my Mac, please help!

In Aperture using the external photo editor Adobe photoshop elements 10 editor. My photo will not come back to aperture unless the photo is saved on the desktop and then imported back to Aperture. What am I doing wrong?

how do you save? Photoshop Elements can save either versions or overwrite the original file, afaik.
You need to set the save preferences, so that it will write to the original file and not write a version. Also the filename extension should be "tiff" and not the default "tif" (I think you did that already).

Ralph9430 offers a good suggestion. But you may need to do this before taking his advice:
Check in iPhoto's Preferences (which you can open from the iPhoto menu). Look in General, and make sure "Connecting Camera Opens" is set to "Image Capture").
If it is set to "iPhoto", you won't be able to get to Image Capture easily.

No, that is done deliberately, since letting other programs poke around in the iphoto library is the fastest known way to corrupt it and make it wither up and die, along with your photos. If you want to use PSE with iphoto you have two choices:
1. Set PSE as your external editor and send the photos from iphoto. Edit them, then save without changing the name or format and iphoto will remember your last saved edits + original, although you have to lose the edits to see the original again. You may need to set the editor prefs>saving files>on first save to save over existing to make this work.
2. Export the photos from iphoto, use file>open in PSE, make all the changes of any sort that you like, save the file, and import it to iphoto as a new file.

This issue appears where there are any inconsistencies in your catalog (generally for video files). This issue may be due to offline files, missing files, video scenes. The recommendation here would be to fix these inconsistencies and try again. If that doesn't solve the issue, please follow steps mentioned in email by me.
