Photoshop Elements 13 silent uninstall

I need to be able to uninstall Photoshop Elements 13 from computers that have this application deployed through SCCM.
Can't find any information about this anywhere.
(Info on installing found here Photoshop Elements 13 | Premiere Elements 13 | Silent Install and Deployment Instructions ).
Please help!

Shikha,
Silent install worked great but I cant get the adobeID to serialize. I used this for PSE 12 but it's not working on 13.
adobe_prtk --tool=Serialize --leid=V7{}PhotoshopElements-EMT13-Win-GM  --serial="xxxx-xx...." --adobeid="[email protected]"
Do I have the right leid? I couldn't find any information on how to get the Adobe ID working.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 Silent install not that silent

    Hi,
    After following the Silent Install Instructions here http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/silent-install-instructions-photoshop-element s-1.html it still is not fully silent.
    As mentioned in the KB article you need to create a application.xml.override file that is said to supress the Eula but it still shows up.
    The actual install of the software is silent but on first start it shows the ElementsOrganizer EULA then makes you select a Country/Region and then shows the Photoshop Elements 11 EULA.
    Is there any way that we can supress both of the EULA's and automatically mark Australia as the Country/Region??

    @99jon,
    That did help out alot. In the end I added Country=12 on to the end of my install command which is the country code for Australia.
    I also added in another line in to both of the application.xml.override file which supressed the EULA's
         <Data key="EULA">Suppress</Data>
    I also used this method for a silent uninstall which might help other users
    Uninstall PSE-10 in silent mode
    Open the command prompt in the administrator mode.
    (Windows XP) Choose Start > Run. Enter cmd in the Run window, and press OK.
    (Windows 7 and Windows XP) Click Start (Windows-Logo), and type "cmd". Press [Shift]+[CTRL]+[ENTER].
    Run the following command to uninstall Photoshop Elements.Verify that the Photoshop Elements 10 folder has been removed from the Program Files folder after running the command.
      start /wait Msiexec /x { EE549AF9-8FAA-4584-83B2-ECF1BC9DC1FF} NOT_STANDALONE=1 /qn
    After the uninstallation is complete, run the following command to uninstall Elements Organizer. Verify that the Elements 10 Organizer folder has been removed from the Program Files folder after running the command.
    start /wait Msiexec /x {22D3A614-482C-444A-932C-9DA1B8ECDFD2} NOT_STANDALONE=1 /qn
    After Elements Organizer has been uninstalled, run the following commands to uninstall STIs (ACR, APE, ESTK). The following procedure assumes that you are using the C drive as your boot drive. Modify the command accordingly if you are using a different drive.
      cd "Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\DWA"
    setup.exe --mode=silent --deploymentFile="C:\Program Files\Common Files\
    Adobe\Elements10STIForPSE\ElementsSTIInstaller.remove.xml"
    Finally, run the following command:
    rmdir /s "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Elements10STIForPSE"

  • Photoshop Elements 13 Silent Installation

    Hi.
    I am trying to do a silent installation of Photoshop Elements 13.
    We can rollout single installations to specific computers with Enteo DSM (Client Management System).
    When i assign an installation to a client, i have the possibility to give the serialnumber with the installationpackage as an variable.
    This worked well with PSE10, PSE11 and PSE12.
    But with Version 13 the installation routine changed completly. Are there any instructions to do an silent installation with PSE 13 ?
    Cheers

  • Can't get Photoshop Elements 8 to Uninstall

    I recently bought Photoshop 10 and installed it - and thought like most programs, it would uninstall the old version.  It did not.
    So I went to control panel and uninstalled Photoshop Elements 8.  It went through the wizard but it is still there when I bring up the control panel.   When I click on it to uninstall again I get the message This action is only valid for products that are currently installed.
    Additionally, all the Elements 8 folders are still present in Windows Explorer.
    I did this a week ago and have restarted but no luck.  How do I get 8 off?

    I would personally leave it installed but you can do it manually if you wish.

  • Photoshop Elements 9 Silent install - XP

    We are trying to roll out Photoshop Elements 9 in our company and I have the install working correctly, however when the program is launched for the first time it is asking the users to choose a location...
    My command line is this:
    Start "Install_PSElements9" /wait setup.exe /UL1033 /V"SERIALNUMBER=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
    I have created the file "application.xml.override" with this content:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <Configuration>
    <Payload>
      <Data key="EULADelay">0</Data>
      <Data key="EULA">Suppress</Data>
      <Data key="Registration">Suppress</Data>
      <Data key="Updates">Suppress</Data>
    </Payload>
    </Configuration>
    I have edited these three lines in the setup.ini file:
    DISABLEEMSFEATURES=1
    DISABLEOLSFEATURES=1
    WATCHSERVICE=0
    All of these changes come from this post I found out on the Internet:
    http://d4rkcell.com/archives/180
    The page references an 'Elements.ini' file being copied into the 'C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\9.0' folder, which is for Win7...
    What is causing the program to still ask for a location and how do I suppress that?

    I’m not sure entirely, it’s all rather technical, but could you have a language code missing?
    See this tech note. It relates to Premiere Elements but it may give some clues.

  • Adobe Premiere Elements 7 Silent Uninstall

    Hi
    I have a tailored silent install of APE 7 which installs the main application separate to the templates on licensed network computers however when uninstalling, I don't want the templates to be removed aswell which they automatically do. They're installed as a separate entry under ARP so just need to know the override command to add to stop this from removing also
    Any ideas? Can this be done?
    TIA

    Did you create the silent install from the Adobe instructions? With "INSTALLTEMPLATES=0" and then install the templates separately. If so I would expect the uninstall it creates to only uninstall the program. Have you tried this?
    Cheers,

  • How to Uninstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 11

    Can anyone help me sort out a command line to remove Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 silently please

    What I mean is to uninstall it with a single script from the command line
    For example install this silently I can use this:
    Setup.exe /UL1033 /V"SERIALNUMBER=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx COUNTRY=44"
    and it works fine.
    To remove the package I want to use something similar to this, with some other switches
    “C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE\PDApp\DWA\Setup.exe” -–mode=silent –-acton=uninstall -–deploymentFile=”%TEMP%\remove.xml”
    This above script only works partly as you still have to push buttons to go forward. I want to make it totally silent so it can deployed to corporate environment with deployment tools like SMS or SCCM.

  • Need help with a Silent Installer for Photoshop Elements 10

    I can't seem to get the silent installer working. I've used the Elements 9 instructions for 10 but I still get pop-ups requesting info:
    http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/silent-install-volume-license-photoshop.html
    I cannot find any info at all relating specifically to Elements 10. Before I go digging into the msi with ORCA (preferable to have something I can deploy in Active Directory through GPO) I tought I'd ask here

    @mtarggart
    Delete the blank between /UL and 1033, and it will work. :-)
    @Davide M, thanks a lot for your helpful article!
    mtarggart wrote:
    I've tried the above command and I keep getting prompted to select an Install Language. I'm trying to install this on Windows 7 x64 Enterprise. From an elevated command prompt pointed to the directory of the Elements install files (C:\PSE 10), this is what I am typing: start /wait setup.exe /UL 1033 /V"SERIALNUMBER=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx".
    For the ones who want to use installation from a server share,
    change "Setup.exe" by using \\Servername\Share\Setup.exe
    and set \\Servername\Share to your Servershare.
    The last thing I've been searching for was setting the right country
    and stopping PSE from asking me which country I am living in.
    Seems as if there was an additional switch e.g. "Country=244" for US.

  • Silent install of Photoshop Elements 10 via SCCM fails

    Hi all, hoping someone can help. I'm trying to push out deployment of Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 via SCCM. From Adobe's site I found details on adding an XML file to preconfigure various default settings and perform a silent install.  I can push out
    the package to my test PC's cache folder no problem, but the advertisement fails with "Failed (bad environment)" message ID 10003. The system cannot find the file specified."
    However, I can install the program manually, running the same code from the command line. So, on my test PC, if I go to c:\windows\system32\cache\(package) from the command line, I can type the following "start /wait Setup.exe /UL1033 /V"SERIALNUMBER=xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx-xxxx"
    (as per Adobe's instructions) and Photoshop Elements 10 will silently install just fine.
    I've read elsewhere that SCCM can have issues with server paths and making use of the %~dp0 variable but I'm unsure if that applies here. In SCCM, in the program properties for PE10, the drive mode is set to "Runs with UNC name." I tried changing to 'requires
    drive letter" but it still failed. I'm guessing I'm dealing with some sort of environment issue but I'm stuck as to how to fix. Any suggestions?
    Thanks in advance,
    Sir_Timbit

    I used "start /wait" as that was what was listed on Adobe's silent install instructions at http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/silent-install-instructions-photoshop-elements-1.html
    Again, it installs fine manually, *if* I point a command prompt to c:\windows\system32\ccm\cache\(cache folder)\ and run the start /wait setup.exe line below. But through SCCM, the advertisement report shows:
    Message ID:10003. Failed (bad environment)
    An error occurred while preparing to run the program for advertisement "ABC20074" ("ABC00041" - "Install Photoshop Elements 10"). The operating system reported error -2147024894: The system cannot find the file specified. Additional program properties: Command

    drive letter connection to a distribution point could not be established, or when the program is configured to use the SMS Software Installation Account but the account is not specified, could not be found, or does not have the appropriate permissions. Solution:
    Check each of the items listed above.

  • Photoshop Elements 11 interface

    First off I would like to say I'm new here! and finding this forum very hard to use? cannot even paste text why?
    anyway here is my question/ observation
    I have just downloaded the new version of Photoshop Elements 11  (I've been useing sinnce version 6)
    I cannot begin to discribe how dissapointed I was to see the UI, to me it looks and feels like a peice of software from about ten years ago with the large icons everywhere, or at the very least a very cheap copy of Photoshop elements.
    I uninstalled it after about a hour, I didnt like it at all! so as far as Elements goes i will be sticking to Elements 9, I will be going back to Paintshop Photo pro from Corel if this is the best effort Adobe has to offer!
    I realy cannot understand why Adobe has employed a 10 year old to design the look of the UI
    Is there a setting to change the UI to a adult theme like before???
    Or is this the new theme for the full blown Photoshop as well if so they will have a lot of very unhappy people!

    Thanks for the reply what I mean by Adult theme is this new one looks so similar to all the free programs my Granddaughter uses online! Large icons and bland looks.like Kolourpaint, Inkscape and the like.
    I'm not sure what this Guided tab is for? if I open this I have nothing to choose apart from magnifying glass and a hand top left  next to that is Before and after choice top right is a Create tab with nothing in it, bottom left 1.1 fit screen, fill screen, print screen (tool options) below that is Photo bin, Tool options, undo, redo, rotate, Organize, that's it apart from fit two of the same image on the screen it look like a waste of space? or is this not included in the trial version??
    I don't know what this "create tab is for? nothing in this on any of the three tabs Quick, Guided, Expert? or is this not in the trial version either??
    Yes Im aware that colour is a personal preference, and so is style choice? this is why I think so many Elements users including myself will be of to pastures new?
    As far as there were at least as many people who complained about the dark interface being too hard to see, not so hard to solve, add a choice of skin colours?

    I have encountered saving my photos that turnout as blank files with no pictures after some manupilation on Photoshop Elements 9.
    Uninstalled and reinstalled the program but still facing the same blank files. Any advice of how to rectify the problem. Thanks.

    Are you renaming these files when you save? Are you using a character like a dot or slash in the name (my.photo.jpg, for instance)?
