Photoshop Elements 2.o (older version) on OS 10.3.9

Does anybody has installed Photoshop Elements 2.0 in OS 10.3.9 Panther?
New version is 90$ the older version is 16$. I just need the clone tool which iPhoto do not have. The system requirement says up to 10.1.5 so I want to know if anybody has successfully installed and currently the older version on a 10.3.9 Panther?

Yes, any version of PSE qualifies for upgrade pricing, but if you're in the US you might want to consider running the trial for now and waiting for the black friday specials, when the full version will be a lot less than the adobe upgrade price.

Thanks for response. I purchase Photoshop Elements 10 from App store, the first install is ok-in English, but my computer reset for some problem, so I installed it again. But this time, it's not English version but the other that I cannot recognize. How can I do? I forgot to save the serial number, where can I check it?

The language is tied to the serial number. Did you purchase the software directly from Adobe?

Is the EULA for Photoshop Elements 9.0 full version the same as the trial version?
Is it acceptable to read the .pdf for Photoshop Elemetns 9.0 Full Version and then to install the trial version?
Reading what I assume to be about 14 pages of dense A4 Text through a small windowed box is unnaceptable. How can I agree to something unless I have read it?

Hi Pete
The trial is exactly the same as the boxed product.
In fact if you purchase the boxed product from your favorite retailer you can simply enter the serial number from the DVD case into the trial to make it permanent - no further installation required.

Support Photoshop Elements 5 Stacks and Version Sets

I would like to see stacks in Lightroom that work the same way as those in the Photoshop Elements 5 Organizer. PSE5 stacks are far more capable than Lightroom ones. (Can stack across multiple folders, can include version sets in stacks, etc.)
Additionally, I would love to see support for PSE5 Version Sets. These are similar to the "Stack with original" option, but work more smoothly (latest version is always automatically on top, for example).
Since Adobe has already implemented these in PSE5, you would think it would be pretty simple to also include them in Lightroom.

Photoshop Elements 9.0 ACR version upgrade

I haven't been able to upgrade my camera raw plug-in in Photoshop Elements 9.0 above a 6.5 version. Unfortunately I need a 7 version to process my camera raw files (powershot G15). I hope there is an easy way?? Any advice is very much appreciated

you can't update pse 9 beyond cr 6.5.

Photoshop Elements for Mac - Three Versions Installed

Hi there,
I'm cleaning up stuff on my iMac and find I have three purchased versions of PhotoShop Elements for Mac installed, V4, V6 and now V8. Can I safely remove the old V4 and V6 versions without them affecting anything in V8?
Also, there are other versions of related software, such as Adobe Bridge, then Adobe Bridge CS3 and CS4. Can the original and CS4 versions be removed.
What else might have multiple versions relating to Photoshop Elements?
Can I remove these by simply deleting them from the Applications or is there a process which needs to be followed, i.e., an Uninstall?
Guidance much appreciated.

After I admit to being "slightly eccentric", let me say I don't know why you even need to uninstall any of them. The only caveat there is you can't run two versions simultaneously. I have PSE- 5 & 7 installed on one of my computers, and I import the same file into both catalogs, while duplicating the folders on a separate HDD also. You can never be to sure, or is that too insecure, I'm not really sure.

Photoshop Elements 10 downloads windows version on mac

I purchased the full version of elements 10, downloaded the windows version on a laptop and now want to download to my mac - OS X. I wasn't given any options at the download and it appears to say that I need a windows platform to open. What is the method to get to a mac version?

Your suggestion solved my problem. I originally bought Elements 10 with
multiple platforms and loaded it on a pc laptop. At your suggestion, I
downloaded the trial version of Elements 10 on my mac, put in my serial
number, and it seems to be working. No more notices about this being a
trial and paying for the version.
I followed another suggestion first - to ask for a platform swap. Adobe's
response was to buy the software again. Here is a clip from their email:
This email is in regard to your request for platform swap. We checked the
serial number provided you and notice that it is for Photoshop Elements
10. Since the serial number is for multiple platform, we request you to
contact our phone support to purchase only the media for the Mac version by
paying extra. You can contact our phone support at 800-833-6687.
Then they sent another email about how to return the product.
I might have been able to call and work things out, but it seemed difficult.

Any one else have Microsoft C++ runtime error in Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 (non cloud version)

I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for 9 months successfully with no issues. Last night, for no reason, it stopped working , giving me a Microsoft C++ runtime error. I have tried every trouble shooting suggestion, including resetting the computer, deleting recent updates, disk cleanup, etc. I finally un installed the program, and when I attempted to re-install, it got almost to the end of the install, and then I get a message " The installation process encountered an error using Shared Technologies". Can anyone help me? Technical support for store bought copies of this program is non existant. It took me 2 hours to find a phone number that works and that was only for cloud users, and the only support they offer is a chat room , which disappeard from my screen this morning, and is no being offered at least today. I must have this program for my photography classes I take 2 x a week. Please help!

I would suggest try again, sometimes, web/internet also behaves in a weird way and when tried again issues get resolved as if they never existed.

ich habe mein Photoshop und Premiere Elements vonVersion 9 auf 11 installiert. Dazu habe ich das Upgrade Paket verwendet. Nach der installation sind die alten Versionen noch auf meinem Rechner und ich würde sie jetzt deinstallieren. Das kann ich lt. Support Webpage auch tun, meine Frage ist nur. kann ich auch das Premiere 9 Content Package deinstallieren oder wird das von Premiere 11 mitbenutzt.
Über eine kurze Info würde ich mich sehr freuen

You should uninstall Premiere 9 before installing 11 if you do not intend to retain 9 (you can if you wish to). If you uninstall 9 after installing 11 you might remove some elements that both programs use.

So, where I work, we have a script that handles all of our heavy lifting. This script is running on CS6, and all of the users are running CC 2014. Now when the CS6 machine opens a document with any type of vector object from CC 2014 it throws a dialog box asking if I want to flatten, cancel, or Keep layers. I do have DISPLAYDIALOGS.NO set at the top of this script.
I under stand scripting quite well, but I'm just not sure if there are app.open options to tell this to keep layers. Also, I'm pretty sure a try catch block will not work, becuase this dialog appears before the image is actually pixels on the screen.
When the script generates our web images I've tried to flatten the document right after its opened and I still see this dialog. Any help would be super appreciated.

app.open will encounter problems that you really have no control over so you get an annoying dialog that you can't do anything with. The one that caused me the most grief is when a script tries to open a corrupt jpg image. IMNSHO, app.open should throw an Exception if it can't open the file and DisplayDialogs.NO is set. That way you can log the filename and deal with it later.
Bottom line is that there is nothing you can do in JS. One thing I have done in the past was use a utility like AutoKey on Windows that looks for these dialogs and automatically responds to them so you can continue processing. I'm fairly certain there is something similar available for OS X.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13 won't download

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 13 and Premiere Elements 13 together on my new Macbook Pro. When I click download, it doesn't try to download. It immediately takes me to a new tab that says "413 Header Length too Large". How do I fix this?

Look under "Older versions".
I guess it's not on your packaging because the software was sold before Vista existed.
