Photoshop Elements 7 - Disk lost

I have lost the Photoshop Elements Version 7 CD but would like to install it on my new computer. I stil have the Serial Number - how do I download it online or get a new copy of the CD?

I am sorry Sophia12340x I am unable to locate any links to allow you to download Photoshop Elements 7. The earliest I could find was Photoshop Elements 10.
You can qualify for the upgrade pricing for Photoshop Elements 10 however. You can find more details at http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-elements.html. If you are using a new computer with a new operating system it maybe best to have the current version as it was designed to work with later operating systems.

How can I do this?

Don't have the new laptop to try and install it, and since it will come with no CD/DVD drive, I was told by store there might be a way to download it for free from Adobe site.

Just install it. Are you getting some kind of error message? Do you need help with transferring a catalog?

Do you mean Photoshop Elements 11 or Photoshop CSx/11.x.x ?
How did you purchase “Photoshop #11”?
If you installed and registered your software at some point in the past, then your serial number should be online at www.adobe.com in the My Account area that lists registered products.
If you purchased your software from Adobe.com as a download then there may be an order receipt in your order history in my My Account area that could have your serial number.
If you purchased PS from a retail store then perhaps they have something that would help you.
Adobe is not in a position to give away software so merely asserting that you have a disc (which contains something that could also easily be downloaded for free) probably isn’t going to be enough. Do you have the box or the receipt?

Unfortunately there isn't a download available for PSE 6, so if you didn't save your original download, I'm afraid you're out of luck. The downloads available at adobe are mostly the trials for older versions and for PSE 6 you couldn't activate the trial by entering a serial number so it wouldn't help you any.

Photoshop Elements 4 has lost it's colors.

I have photoshop elements 4.0 and have used it for about 2 years with no problems. All of a sudden when I choose a color off my color swatches it just appears as an off white color. I'm trying to do some work using a bright green color but it's only coming out as an off white. I've restarted the computer and it makes no difference. Any thoughts?

Restore Photoshop Elements 2 updates lost after System Recovery

I have a copy of Photoshop Elements 2 that came over on the Mayflower in my computer... Last week I had to do a system recovery (restoring to factory settings). I was able to load in the disc without trouble, but the updates to the original software are no longer available. How can I restore the updates I've used and enjoyed over the past what...7 years? Is there a "Key" I can buy, a secret handshake...or maybe a guy who knows somebody who knows a guy?
The program was running in XP.... Stop laughing.

If you registered PSE when you first installed it, go to the main page of adobe.com and look for My Adobe on the upper right side of the page. By working your way through the links there you should find your serial number.

Question: Photoshop Elements 6 Icons Lost in Windows

I updated my system with new adobe reader 11 having had 9 before and then loaded some photos. The new photos displayed as full size pictures but I have lost the icons. My existing photos retained their icons and but disappeared as I looked at them. I use Windows xp.
I found some advice that said to change the affinity for the organiser which I did. I also use a shortcut which was another hint. I tried to update thumbnails but although the egg timer started to run, it didn't solve the problem.
I read that this glitch had been updated in elements 7 and have subsequently purchased pse 11. My catalogs have moved across, but without thumbnails.
Any ideas on how to get them back?

"Edit In Photoshop Elements 5.0" Lost On Desktop; Still On Laptop

After updating to ACR 4.3.1 and LR 1.3.1, I no longer have "Edit In Photoshop 5.0" available on my desktop. It has been replaced by "Edit in Photoshop..." and is grayed out. It's still there on my laptop. The only difference is that I updated LR first and ACR second on my desktop, but ACR first and LR second on my laptop.

And you don't have to qualify with (Trial) the Only difference is the Serial Number entry letting you use it linger.
