Photoshop Elements 7 files from pc to Photoshop Elements 13 on a mac?

I have loads of Photoshop Elements 7 .psd files and my catalogue on my old Windows based pc which I want to copy across to Photoshop Elements 13 on my new mac. How do I do this? Please tell me it's easy!
I'm new to the mac so please don't assume even a basic level of knowledge - although I do have an ipad!

Contact Adobe please, that is a question for them. If they will migrate then you need to ask about getting your MS Windows license tranfered to OS X too. Then you can use Migration Assistant to migrate the Windows data to OS X. My guess is you are not familiar with Migration Assistant, please read Apple's advice letters on MA and also Pondini wrote excellent articles about it, you can find his articles by clicking http://pondini.org/OSX/MigrateLion.html

You would need PSE11 since the 3200 requires ACR version 7.1
Only PSE11 can have 7.1, so to be able to use your raw files with PSE9 you should download the free Adobe DNGconverter which can batch convert a whole folder of raw files into the Adobe raw DNG format which your PSE8 can open.

I use PSE9 and send several derivate files (TIFFs) from LR to PSE9 all the time to do panos.
I've recorded a little screen capture showing 4 images being sent to PSE9 from LR3.6. You can see the 4 tiffs being added to the catalog before calling PSE9 and then the 4 TIFFs arrive in PSE9.
What Operating System do you use? Can you show a screenshot of the external editor settings for PSE?

Can't Open ACR files from Bridge in Photoshop CC 2014

I Can't Open ACR files from Bridge in Photoshop CC 2014. I have uninstalled the programs, and all other versions of PS several times, but no matter what I do, I can't open a raw file I have opened in Bridge, in PS CC 2014. I have to click Open in Photoshop CC 2014 in Bridge.
Also, on my workstation PC (Win 7 64bit), if I don't open PS prior to opening Bridge, then when I try to open a file from bridge it says it can't run PS on an earlier Operating system than Win 7!
I have done exactly the same instalation on my notebook, same OS, and everything works perfectly - I just don't understand.

Guys! This question was asked almost two months ago, and still no-one has replied? I'm still stuck, no matter what I have tried, I cannot find a solution. And please don't ask me to re-install AGAIN, I've done this several times and it simply does not work.

I am trying without success to load (two) files from bridge to Photoshop as layers.

I am not exactly sure what you are asking, but I know you can create stacks in Bridge by simply selecting the desired files and pressing ctrl G on the PC (command G on MAC?) I believe there is a forum dedicated to Bridge scripting. You might have better luck there.

Im copying that image and paste into photoshop but it won't transparent. therefore im saving the files my mac and using like that.

How to bring files from time machine (ext drive) to another mac?

Getting another Mac and need to install specific files from a Time Machine Backup of another Mac.
Has anyone done this without Time Machine doing a full restore on the new Mac? I'd like to bring over items such as: preferences, Mail files, Safari bookmarks, pictures, etc.

With your suggestion, among others I shall. However, I think it is better to load applications from my DVD's into the new Mac, then open and use the migration assistant. Don't you agree?
Otherwise, I think, the migration assistant on initial startup of the new Mac will migrate files that do not have apps already installed. Maybe that does not matte?? Does it will migrate over apps first? All shall come from my TM backup which I am concerned were from a Power PC G5, to now to run on an Intel based Mac, and I thought it best to load apps without any touch from the PPC.

How can i get files from my time capsule to my new mac?

I know this topic i much discussed, but searching has not turned up a solution.
I have a new mac book pro 15 on order and want to grab my files from my time capsule. My old mac book pro 15 (3 months old) was encrypted with file safe. In the past i have never had good results with bringing data to a new mac from time capsules; I've tried many times for my self and family. As a result I use the time capsule for day to day old file retrieval needs and do manual backups of my data onto externals and NAS devices for migration to new computers-tedious but it has yet to fail me. This time, I did that with everything except a few folders of my movies and pictures. They are now prisoner on the time capsule.
What is the best way to get files off the time capsule and does it require that my login and user name on the new mac be identical to that which was on my old mac?
(I change my user names each time i get a new mac, not specifically on purpose but i haven't paid attention to what they were when setting up a new computer.)

Help me understand what question you're referring to. I've been through several new macs and am not sure what specifically you're speaking about.

That's the classic behaviour after using Migration Assistant and that's normal.

The new mini has a Firewire 800 port. Likely the PPC version only has Firewire 400. The OP will need a converter cable which is why I was asking first about what hardware is available and how much is being copied.
Probably go with using the external hard drive if you decide all you want are data files.

Only copies the file or files you select. The selection will remain unless you change it in case you wish to repeat the same copy to another location. Multiple and different copy operations can be run simultaneously.
