Photoshop Elements 8 when I open Edit error 150:30 appears

I'd like to edit pics before importing into Photobox book but error 150:30 appears when I try to perform the edit task.

Photoshop Elements 8 has stopped working. Error 150:30

I recently upgraded my Mac's operating system to Maverick 10.9. Now my Photo shop Element 8 is showing error 150:30 and not working. I think I need to download some thing but cannot see how or where to find how?

had the same problem here with PSE 8 after system recovery from time machine backup. I also updated to Lion couple of month ago. I also tried all of the listed solutions on the adobe support pages but none of them worked. The folder FLEXNet_Publisher in the systems hard drives folder Preferences, which it says to be deleted does not exist and was only found in the application support folder. I also tried all of the other solutions listed on this page: http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html and had more or less the same problems, it did not work.
I found the following solution myself by doing this:
go to the folder [hard drive]/Library/Application Support/FlexNet Publisher and make a copy of this folder
then go to the folder [hard drive]/Library/Preferences and paste this copied folder there.
Then try again to start your application and now it should show you the licenceregistry window. Type in your serial number and confirm. Then the application starts and runs properly. So it was on my system.

Hi,
Which operating system are you running on?
Try starting the organizer while holding down the shift key. Hopefully, it should load the Catalog Manager.
Select your current catalog and click on the Repair button. Once it has finished, click on the Open button to see if the catalog opens.

I have since uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but get the same error message.

Which version of OS X do you have? It's not clear from your post whether "installed an upgrade" means you just installed PSE 13 as an upgrade or you installed an update to PSE 13, like ACR 9 or 13.1. Please clarify.

Hi Johnson,
the maximum request size is 10000 characters. To translate larger documents you'll need to break them into smaller chunks. When using the HTML mode, make sure you send a complete element, for instance the whole <p> element up to and including the </p>.
Also make sure not to break requests in the middle of a sentence. Translator needs whole sentences to translate. You can use the BreakSentences method to find sentence boundaries. Breaksentences is also subject to the 10000 character request size limit.

I had the same issue and I'm running Windows 7. Tried working with technical support for several hours but they were no help. They just had me doing the same things over and over, offering no real answers. I finally got fed up and have decided to return my product for a full refund.

My Photoshop Elements 3 won't even open on my iBook G3 w/ OS 10.4.6.
Previously I used it fine, but I don't recall what OS I was using, so it isn't a problems with my G3 iBook.
any suggestions? should I update to 10.4.7?

Since this is a completely different issue and your post is appearing at the bottom of a very long thread that is already marked as solved, I suggest you start a new topic with your problem. Also when you post your problem more information would help: does the icon bounce then disappear, do you get an error message, how did you install it, was it installed before and you then updated the system, how are you launching it? The more detail, the more likely someone can help.

Photoshop Elements 3 crashes during loading. The icon is in my dock, starts bouncing, stops bouncing. I bought and loaded PE a long time ago and have been using it without difficulty; I can't remember when the crashing started but it may have been after I downloaded 10.4.6. I have tried re-=installing PE wihtout trashing the original to no avail.

Photoshop elements 6 will not open!

Purchased photoshop elements 6. My dad has that one and recommended it for what I want to do with photos. It was the only elements in our budget and since my dad uses it, I figured instant help should I need it.
I tried installing it. It said it was installed, but it will not open. Tried uninstalling it then reinstalling it and restarting computer. Did not work. Tried to run it as an administrator. Did not work.
I have windows vista 64 bit.
If I can't get this to work, I know I won't be buying anything from adobe ever again and will tell all my friends that want to get into editing their photos to stay far, far, far away from photoshop elements.

You are rude, to say the least. It is adobe's fault for marketing it as compatible. Yet another reason why I want nothing to do with adobe. The fact they marketed it as compatible when it is not is what I have a problem with. I am not blaming the software, I am blaming the company.
