Photoshop Elements 9.0 ACR version upgrade

I haven't been able to upgrade my camera raw plug-in in Photoshop Elements 9.0 above a 6.5 version. Unfortunately I need a 7 version to process my camera raw files (powershot G15). I hope there is an easy way?? Any advice is very much appreciated

you can't update pse 9 beyond cr 6.5.
you can upgrade pse or you can use dng converter:  http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=106&platform=Windows or http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=Macintosh&product=106

    You would have to upgrade to the current version 12 by purchasing it.  Adobe doesn't sell older versions of their software, so if you want to by an upgrade to version 11 you would have to look for some third party vendor which you are less likely to find for an upgrade purchase - and purchasing from a 3rd party vendor can be chancy.

    Thanks for response.  I purchase Photoshop Elements 10 from App store, the first install is ok-in English, but my computer reset for some problem, so I installed it again. But this time, it's not English version but the other that I cannot recognize. How can I do? I forgot to save the serial number, where can I check it?

    The language is tied to the serial number.  Did you purchase the software directly from Adobe?

    Is the EULA for Photoshop Elements 9.0 full version the same as the trial version?
    Is it acceptable to read the .pdf for Photoshop Elemetns 9.0 Full Version and then to install the trial version?
    Reading what I assume to be about 14 pages of dense A4 Text through a small windowed box is unnaceptable. How can I agree to something unless I have read it?

    The trial is exactly the same as the boxed product.
    In fact if you purchase the boxed product from your favorite retailer you can simply enter the serial number from the DVD case into the trial to make it permanent - no further installation required.

  • Support Photoshop Elements 5 Stacks and Version Sets

    I would like to see stacks in Lightroom that work the same way as those in the Photoshop Elements 5 Organizer. PSE5 stacks are far more capable than Lightroom ones. (Can stack across multiple folders, can include version sets in stacks, etc.)
    Additionally, I would love to see support for PSE5 Version Sets. These are similar to the "Stack with original" option, but work more smoothly (latest version is always automatically on top, for example).
    Since Adobe has already implemented these in PSE5, you would think it would be pretty simple to also include them in Lightroom.

  • Reinstall Photoshop Elements 6 after Hard Disk upgrade on MacBook

    Hi
    I am trying to reinstall Photoshop elements after upgrading HD on macbook 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo. OS 10.5.8, 2.5 Gb Ram using SuperDuper 2.1. Tried running the transferred copy of P.E.6 --> hangs while trying to initialize menus
    After searching forums for suggestions I have tried the following
    1 use adobe installer to uninstall old copy of P.E.6
    2 removed /library/Application Support/Adobe~
    3. Use Apple Disk Utilities to repair permissions
    Reinstalled new copy of P.E.6 (downloaded from Adobe.Com)
    On starting P.E.6 - goes thru first set of initialization OK
    then hangs while trying to initialize menus (spinning beachball)
    Also installed on a Power Mac Dual 2GHz PowerPC G5 (P.E.6 has not been installed before)
    - P.E.6 works on this machine
    any help greatly appreciated

    Created a new user (admin)
    uninstall and re-install PE6
    still no go
    does it check the serial number as I have another copy(using same serial number) running on PowerMac G5 (as a test) on the same network?

  • Photoshop element 13 crashing after os upgrade on my mac. Told upgrade not compatible, anyone having this problem?

    So yeah... Had an update for OS X Yosemite.  The new "Photo" app was added instead of "iPhoto".  Photoshop Element 13 was working fine before and now when I try to open to pull from either one of my photo files photoshop crashes.  Apple said to contact Adobe.  Not compatible and need an upgrade for compatibility.  Anyone experiencing this? Frustrated....

    système OS X 10;6;8 ne suffisait pas activer le téléchargement  ( Akami 1,82 GB )
    payer par carte banquaire du montant de 99,60 .
    devant les complications diverses rencontrées nequierant une connaissance informatique
    que je ne possède pas, j’aimerai savoir, s’il ne serait pas possible de procéder à un
    échange et revenir sur Element 11 dont j’ai eu satisfaction pendant plus d’un an et qui
    fonctionne très bien avec la configuration actuelle.

    Does anybody has installed Photoshop Elements 2.0 in OS 10.3.9 Panther?
    New version is 90$ the older version is 16$. I just need the clone tool which iPhoto do not have. The system requirement says up to 10.1.5 so I want to know if anybody has successfully installed and currently the older version on a 10.3.9 Panther?

  • Why isn't Photoshop Elements showing up in my upgrades list?

    With the new version of Photoshop Elements in the store, I checked my available updates but there isn't an update listed. When I look at the purchased list and click on the application to go to its page, it just responds "Your request could not be completed". What gives?

    Please Quit your Adobe Application Manager and re-launch it. It will update itself to the new Creative Cloud application and then you will see the CC apps for download. Install the all new CC apps and check if that works fine.

  • Photoshop Elements for Mac - Three Versions Installed

    Hi there,
    I'm cleaning up stuff on my iMac and find I have three purchased versions of PhotoShop Elements for Mac installed, V4, V6 and now V8.  Can I safely remove the old V4 and V6 versions without them affecting anything in V8?
    Also, there are other versions of related software, such as Adobe Bridge, then Adobe Bridge CS3 and CS4.  Can the original and CS4 versions be removed.
    What else might have multiple versions relating to Photoshop Elements?
    Can I remove these by simply deleting them from the Applications or is there a process which needs to be followed, i.e., an Uninstall?
    Guidance much appreciated.

    After I admit to being "slightly eccentric", let me say I don't know why you even need to uninstall any of them. The only caveat there is you can't run two versions simultaneously.  I have PSE- 5 & 7 installed on one of my computers, and I import the same file into both catalogs, while duplicating the folders on a separate HDD also. You can never be to sure, or is that too insecure, I'm not really sure.

    I purchased the full version of elements 10, downloaded the windows version on a laptop and now want to download to my mac - OS X.  I wasn't given any options at the download and it appears to say that I need a windows platform to open.  What is the method to get to a mac version?

    Your suggestion solved my problem. I originally bought Elements 10 with
    multiple platforms and loaded it on a pc laptop. At your suggestion, I
    downloaded the trial version of Elements 10 on my mac, put in my serial
    number, and it seems to be working. No more notices about this being a
    trial and paying for the version.
    I followed another suggestion first - to ask for a platform swap.  Adobe's
    response was to buy the software again.  Here is a clip from their email:
    This email is in regard to your request for platform swap. We checked the
    serial number  provided you and notice that it is for Photoshop Elements
    10. Since the serial number is for multiple platform, we request you to
    contact our phone support to purchase only the media for the Mac version by
    paying extra. You can contact our phone support at 800-833-6687.
    Then they sent another email about how to return the product.
    I might have been able to call and work things out, but it seemed difficult.

  • Any one else have Microsoft C++ runtime error in Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 (non cloud version)

    I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for 9 months successfully with no issues.  Last night, for no reason, it stopped working , giving me a Microsoft C++ runtime error.  I have tried every trouble shooting suggestion, including resetting the computer, deleting recent updates, disk cleanup, etc.  I finally un installed the program, and when I attempted to re-install, it got almost to the end of the install, and then I get a message " The installation process encountered an error using Shared Technologies".   Can anyone help me?  Technical support for store bought copies of this program is non existant.  It took me 2 hours to find a  phone number that works and that was only for cloud users, and the only support they offer is a chat room , which disappeard from my screen this morning, and is no being offered at least today.   I must have this program for my photography classes I take 2 x a week.  Please help!

    ich habe mein Photoshop und Premiere Elements  vonVersion 9 auf 11 installiert. Dazu habe ich das Upgrade Paket verwendet. Nach der installation sind die alten Versionen noch auf meinem Rechner und ich würde sie jetzt deinstallieren. Das kann ich lt. Support Webpage auch tun, meine Frage ist nur. kann ich auch das Premiere 9 Content Package deinstallieren oder wird das von Premiere 11 mitbenutzt.
    Über eine kurze Info würde ich mich sehr freuen

    You should uninstall Premiere 9 before installing 11 if you do not intend to retain 9 (you can if you wish to).  If you uninstall 9 after installing 11 you might remove some elements that both programs use.

    I would suggest try again, sometimes, web/internet also behaves in a weird way and when tried again issues get resolved as if they never existed.
