Photoshop Elements 9-upload to Revel?

When you choose to share from Photoshop Elements 9 will it go to Revel or not work?  How do you make it work?

Elements 9 used to sync with photoshop.com, which has been discontinued.  It does not communicate with Revel.
The current version of elements is version 12 and it has a feature called mobile albums. These albums can keep your revel account and elements organizer in sync so that you can see your files on all of your devices.
If you want to continue to use Elements 9 for editing, you can use adoberevel.com on a abrowser to upload photos to revel.

  • Photoshop Elements 10 uploading/deleting images error

    Hello,
I attempted to upload new pictures to my Organizer from files and folders.  I selected the images I wanted to upload, and Elements began uploading them, but when it got to 95%, it said there was an error.  Afterwards, I tried to delete a picture from my Organizer, and it also said there was an error. I can still edit pictures, but I just can't upload the pictures I want to edit!  (I'm using Windows 7, by the way.)
    Thanks

    HI JBThugg,
Re-launch Organizer and then click File >> Catalog >> Select your current catalog and then try Repair and Optimize.
Once done with these operations, close and re-launch the application and check if the photos which were failing to import earlier, are not present in the catalog. Now try importing a bunch, not all, photos from your travel directory. See if the import succeeds after this operation.
If you do mind creating a new catalog for your travel photos and want to get them imported in your current catalog, try these steps.
Else the suggestion Surendra posted should work for you as well.
Please let me know the result
    Thanks

  • Is Photoshop Elements Organizer Duplicating my Revel Library?

Having liked Revel, I though I'd take a look at Photoshop and Premiere Elements, so I've got the trial versions of those and have hooked up the Organizer to my Revel Library.
I currently have two Revel libraries. Looking at what has happened with the smaller one, Organizer is using a Catalog folder which contains original versions of all of the pictures from my Revel library - these originals are also all stored within the Adobe Revel library itself. Do I take it that Elements Organizer is going to try and download all of the nearly 32,000 pictures I have in my main Revel Library to use them in Organizer despite them all sitting locally in the Revel Library itself?
If that is the case, is there any way I can stop it doing it but still use Photoshop to edit pictures?

Thanks for information. So I guess you had uploaded all these files directly to Revel account. Please correct me if I am wrong.
In order to keep image in sync between Revel and Elements, Elements downloads the previews of all the image present on Revel and then later on demand you can download full resolution image on demand. The full resolution download workflow of images in initiated whenever you perform some operation on these images like edit, share. You can read more about accessing Revel functionalities from Elements at :- https://helpx.adobe.com/elements-organizer/using/access-media-using-revel.html

  • HELP PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS AND REVEL HELL

    1. My computer has corrupt partitions.  I have to erase and reinstall everything.  How do I reinstall Photoshop Elements?
    2. How do I back up and save and be able to open up current Photoshop Elements photos in the newly reinstalled Photoshop Elements?
    3.  Revel offered way to archive but computer would not accept Media downloader from Revel to back up photos bec. computer did not recognize developer?  How do I archive these photos I currently have in photoshop elements?
    4. How and where do you save photos in photoshop elements?  And how do I retrieve them?
5.If I purchase Elements 11 will this eliminat all of these issues I mentioned here?
    6.  What's the difference at Revel to "migrate" my photos from photoshop elements to Revel and/or Archive by downloading them which I can do since the developer is not recognizable on my computer?
    7.  Do you know if the external g: drive (time machine) backs up photohop elements photos?  What will and how?

    1)
To re-install PSE on a new machine or on a new disk after the disk has been formatted - wiped clean - you first need to de-activate it by going to:
    Help >> Deactivate
You do this before you wipe the disk clean or before you toss away the disk and install a new one.   This is to preserve your license and rights to install on two different machines if you wish to do so.
    2) You must backup not only your photos but also your other documents, emails, videos, music files etc.  Anything that you don't want to lose should be backed up in a flash drive (16GB flash drive or even 32 GB flash drive).  You might need couple or an external hard disk that can be mounted on a USB port.
You also need to back up your PSE catalog so that this can be retrieved on your new machine or on your new disk.
For points 1 and 2, it is a good idea to make a list of things to do in advance including making sure you have all the CDs/DVDs and serial numbers ready to install applications on a new system.  Planning in advance will avoid headaches later when you are working hard to prepare the new system.
For other points about Revel, you will need to post them at this link:

  • I have Photoshop Elements 10.  How do I upload all my photos and albums to Adobe Revel?

I have Photoshop Elements 10.  How do I upload all my photos and albums to Adobe Revel?

Elements 10 does not have a direct interface with Revel. You can upload from your computer to revel via adoberevel.com, via the revel app if you use Win8 or Mac, or via an upgrade to Elements 11 or 12. (Elements 11 has upload/download ability, Elements 12 has mobile albums that stay in sync)

  • How to transfer the photo captions from Photoshop Elements 12 organizer to Adobe Revel albums ?

How to transfer the photo captions from Photoshop Elements 12 organizer to Adobe Revel albums ?

Thks for the contribution. However, it seems I cannot solve my problem with the kindly proposed solution.
    Let me rephrase my problem:
I off-line prepare, organize photos and also add manually individual photo captions with PE12 Organizer. In the properties panel, I can check that the photo properties (including captions) are properly associated with the photo.
However when I upload on Revel -directly with PE12 Organizer (selecting Share/Private Web Album)- these individual (accordingly captioned) photos or albums, I cannot find the photo captions (i.e. the photo caption did not directly show up with the photo in Revel). This obliges me to a double work by copying  and pasting each photo caption.
Is there any plan to get rid of that ?
Let me add that I am using the French version of PE12

  • How to back up from Photoshop Elements 8 to Revel

My photos were backed up from PSE 8 to the Elements backup on photoshop.com.  Now they have been automatically moved to Revel.  How do I back up more photos from PSE 8 to Revel?  When I try to do a backup from PSE 8 it connects to the old photoshop.com backup.

It sounds like you want to get more of your files onto Revel but are not sure how to since you can not save from Elements to Photoshop.com anymore and since Elements 8 does not communicate with Revel.   What you can do now it upload your photos to Revel directly from your Mac or PC. If you have a Mac, you can download the Revel app and upload from your Mac. If you have a PC, you can upload via a web browser at adoberevel.com. If you upgrade to Elements 11, you will have the ability to upload to Revel from Elements if you choose (it is not quite the same as the sync, but allows upload to or download from Revel) See the link below for more details.  I hope this helps. Let me know if you have further issues.

  • Revel on line and Photoshop Elements 12 do not match.

I have one active e-mail pjdcan2... and my revel on line shows 742 photos.  I have more albums and photos in Elements 12 that are not uploaded to my account.  I have logged out of both elements 12 and revel and then signed back in.  This has not solved my problem.  Where are my photo's uploading too?  My ID is pattic12345.  Please help me.

Since you have a connect session setup already with the elements team, I will let them work with you on all your elements upload issues at once. Your account does not look like it has any issues anymore, so I will monitor the other post at:
Albums not sync between Photoshop Elements and IPad. and see where you are once you compete your connect session with them.

@andaleebfatima1 - please be aware there were recent issues that were fixed in this account with missing files.

  • If I delete a photo in Revel, does it also delete it in Photoshop Elements 11?

I've begun uploading photos madly, in my 30 day unlimited upload window.  Now that I've got some photos and albums in Revel, I want to get rid of some of the photos.  If I delete a photo in Revel, I understand that it will also be deleted from my iPhone and iPad and anything else that is Revel.  But, will it also delete that photo in my Photoshop Elements 11 on my laptop?

Revel will not delete anything saved separately in Elements or your hard disk, only in the Revel Cloud and in the Mac Revel library if you have the selection on a Mac set to keep originals.

  • Exporting from adobe photoshop elements 11 to Revel

Is there a way to connect the photo to a album at time of export from photoshop elements?

    Hello Allan
Yes there is a way to export your images to an album. When you select the image in the Elements 11 organizer select from the file menu "Export to Revel"
Then in the Adobe Revel window after you sign in, you will see an Export To drop down menu, which you can select the album that you wish to upload to. In the screen shot below I have my main libraries and the libraries that are shared to myself. So you have the option to upload to shared libraries too. ( The shared libraries are below the separator line)
Let me know if  you have any other questions regarding exporting your images to Revel
    Thanks
