Photoshop elements trial download

Keep trying to download the photoshop elements trial but everytime I press the yellow button it just prompts me to install the download assistant which I have already installed.

After Adobe Download Assistant is installed, you can start it at any time and select a product to download at the bottom of the window. The list updates as new products become available to download with the Adobe Download Assistant.

Yes it the DW063 and DF037 errors are both indicating the installer is having problems modifying Library/Application Support/Adobe. Please try adjusting the permissions for this directory and apply the change to all enclosed items.

I'm trying to download Adobe Photoshop Elements trial version and got up to installing adobe Download assistant and logging in with my Adobe ID and password. Help section says it should start downloading automatically after that but nothing happens and in the adobe Download assistant under' All products' or 'Products you may like', nothing shows up for me to manually click to download. How can this be solved?

As per the End User License Agreement (EULA), at any given instance you are eligible to install the software on 2 computers.

I just purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements and downloaded it to my new laptop (MacBook Air OS X, 10.7.2). It has apparently downloaded completely but when I click the Install button, I get the message "The following disk images couldn't be opened, invalid checksum". I went back to the software library and downloaded it again, as suggested, and it still didn't work. Please help!

No, I haven't had any problems with other disc images. I checked to see that Photoshop had downloaded completely and it had (.dmg). I don't have an inti-virus program to disable, I restarted the computer and clicked on the installation icon again, and each time that I did that, the same message appeared. I have not yet gotten as far the screen which asks for the registration #.

That's grade A stupid. No current Adobe app will function other than on its original install location due to the many auxilairay components and of course the licensing system being required. If it asks you dfor a serial from there or even refuses to launch, you realyl mustn't wonder. if it was installed properly on a internal drive and still triggers the warning, you may have another Adobe product interfering and you may need to reset the licensing database and all that.
