Photoshop elemnts 12 is a %%^&*(*().

This is the **&&^%$% most stupid community I've ever used.  All I want is my photoshop elements 12 to work.  Maybe somebody will ready this rant and fix this *(*&^%%$&**I damn web site. It's useless.  Why do we the buyers of your software have to be the ones to fix your stupid problems.  It's just $%^&*()_(*&^%$#$%^&*()_)(*&^%^&*()_. 

You have to purchase the software in order to get a serial number.  The trial should not need a serial number to work.  If it is the case that the trial period is being indicated as expired then you eiother already had the trial installed for the trial length, or the trial period ended prematurely, which can happen...

    Suggest that you purchase PSE v.13. The software is on sale from time to time at box stores and at Amazon.

    Well, your photos aren't "in" in the organizer, so you can just point DPP at the folders where they reside, or you could set DPP as your external editor for the organizer, if you prefer that. Organizer>Preferences>Use a Supplementarty Editing Application.

  • Install Photoshop Elements on Desktop and Laptop?

    I was under the impresion that you could install Adobe Photoshop Elements on one desktop and one laptop computer within the same household using one license.  After installing on my desktop, I installed it on my laptop but after a while my laptop installation said it expired and Photoshop Elemnts no longer opens.  What's the real issue here?

    Laptop running WinXP SP3 with Photoshop Elements 6.
    This morning when I went to use it the program started but the mesage "trial period expired, you must uninstall software" came up.  Since then the program will not start at all.
    I initially installed the program on my desktop compter where I still use it.

    I own a legitimate Photoshop Elements 1.0 cd, came with a camera I bought many years ago.
    Now I would to install it, but a wide scratch over cd surface doesn't allow me to succesfully do that.
    So I thought to download it from Adobe website, but I cannot find any download for Photoshop Elemnts but 11.
    Even if I (just today, indeed) registered the product by its serial number on Adobe site, nevertheless I can't see anything about it in My Adobe account as well (obviously in My Orders there is nothing, as I took my Elements 1 as a bundle).
    My question is: where can I download Photoshop Elements 1.0?

    EDIT: Oh, I forgot: nothing to do with Adobe ftp.
    At ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/photoshopelements/win/1.x/ you will find just pse2trial.exe (and not the expected pse1trial.exe).
    Such a weird thing…

    That's probably a futile exercise. Short of scouring the Internet I can think of no way to get the software. That aside this may be wasted effort, regardless, because it won't install on a modern operating system....

    How can I uninstall photoshop elemnts 9 on xp ?? It is not in the ***/removes programs...in that start up photoshop does not offer a uninstall..when popen elements at the top there are no options to uninstall and went to the program files and no uninstaller listed there ???

    Yes. If you don't want them in the organizer just select them and right-click and tell organizer to delete them.
