I would like to take up the offer for Photoshop for Photographers but it requires that you own CS3. Does teh Student Version qualify?

It doesn't say, but I'd be inclined to give Customer care a call and try my luck. I have a feeling you might just get away with it.

not much usefull info. Yes I get it if I pay the full cloud. But what if I pay one program = (Adobe Muse is in Creative Cloud subscription). Please respond. Is it possible or not? I want a simple answer in one sentence. :-)

Hi! I've switched from "Photoshop for Photographers" to a full yearly 30$/month subsciption, but the "Photoshop for Photographers" still stays. Is that a bug, or a feature? Also, if it's a feature, should I early-cancel it, or will that change my new subscription price?

i don't see it as much of a feature because you're getting nothing for that $10/mo. cancel it.

Paid Subscription (Photoshop for Photographers)- Application Manager Says Otherwise

After wanting to smack my MacBook multiple times, I keep getting a very grumpy message from my application manager insisting that my subscription is expired. Now, had I not JUST paid my bill a week or so ago, I would understand this. Also keep in mind a few days ago my Photoshop was working fine. And upon checking my account, everything is still active. Help?

Adobe Photoshop for Photographers Seminar with Scott Kelby

Has anyone been to one of Kelby's one-day seminars? If so, what were your thoughts?

I've attended several of the Kelby one day training seminars. Some have been very beneficial and others left me dissatisfied. When dissatisfied, usually a result of the material being to basic for me, or too large a crowd for the room..
I get more out of the Kelby training website, books, talking with other photoshop enthusiasts, or just experimenting with photoshop on my own.
One thing you need to know, IMO don't take a lap top, there is no time for hands on usage while the seminar is going on. Plan on just following along, taking some notes and when you get home start trying some of the techniques, lessons learned.

Also, if you are subscribed to the Photoshop Photographer bundle Lightroom 5 should show up with an Install button in your Creative Cloud desktop app. You may have to sign out and back in if you haven't logged out and back in since the time of purchase.

I have heard that Adobe Flash Player and Apple OS & iOS do NOT care much for each other.
Now half of Youtube videos would NOT play and many websites would NOT show on my Mac computer.
This is absolutely rediculous!
Because of the unfair monopoly, I have switched from Microsoft Windows PC to Apple Mac system a few years ago.
Is it a MUST and worthy for corporations to compete each other by screwing up customers like this?

Switching to the monthly plan for photographers. Trying to downloading the Photoshop CC. What are the steps? Where do I find the app on my desktop?

I have the free Creative Cloud, which ends Sept. 5, 2014. I have switched to the monthly plan. Do I just update the Creative Cloud for just PhotoshopCC and Lightroom 5 or do I have to download PhotoshopCC again?
I tried to download Photoshop, but it asks my to choose the place on my hard drive (C). I can't seem to find it to open it up. I need help. Can someone please guide me through this?

Geez, don't mix up everything! The free CC access may or may not include full access to all apps. Now, with the monthly subscription for photographers, you will only have access to PS, LR and BR. So it seems, you already have all the apps installed, so no need to download anything again. With the beginning of your new subscription, you change the account details in your CC account manager and then either it deletes the apps which are not licenced or you just won't be able to start them anymore.

I noticed that the Photoshop CC for Photographers option ($9.99 / month) has been opended to everyone until 12/2. The original offer was valid for current users until 12/31. Is that still an option or has that been changed to now end on 12/2.

Beverly, thanks for clearing that up. All of the evidence on Adobe's pages regarding this program suggests that the deadline has been changed for everyone to December 2, and a representative on Adobe chat unequivocally confirmed that late yesterday. We would expect that after the last year that Adobe would be sensitive to the need to communicate clearly and candidly with it users, but that message apparently still has not been recieved. But I appreciate your remedial clarification.

CC for Photographers, what to do with CS6

Hi all,
I was a user of Photoshop CS6 but decided to subscribe to the CC for Photographers offer last year. The offer required ownership of a previous CS package so I was fine. However, now I'm using Photoshop CC and Lightroom I have no use for CS6.
I could sell on CS6 and transfer my ownership of it but would this prevent me from continuing my current subscription into a second year? It seems a waste to have it hanging around if I'm not using it and Adobe no longer require to see it for the subscription.

Welcome to the club. We all have these old versions lying around.
You can't legally sell it if your current license is in any way tied to it.

Is my Adobe CC for photographers license still valid if I change from Windows 32 bit to 64 bit?

I've bought a license for Adobe CC for photographers (costs 10$ a month), and now going to upgrading my operating system from Windows 7 32 bit to 64 bit. I know that there is a 64 bit version for Photoshop, don't know about Bridge. So, is my license still valid if I upgrade, or do I have to buy a new CC program for photographers for the 64 bit version of Photoshop??

Good to know information :
You can install and activate Creative Cloud subscription Apps on 2 computers. (Either on Mac or Windows as per your choice) .
Either it may be 32 bit or 64 bit , it does not matters, the subscription will be counted based of number of activation done as per Machine ID's.
Before , you upgrade the computer to 64 bit, better to Sign out from Creative Cloud desktop application.
If the Machine ID changes just in case , it will be counted as 2'nd activation.
Sign in, Sign out | Creative Cloud desktop app
Even though, if you had exceeded Maximum activation limit(Already activated on 2 computers) , still you can reset the activation count to Zero, so that you can again activate CC subscription on any of 2 computers as per your choice.

CC for photographers does not work

Bought CC for Photographers today (OSX version, macbook pro 4gb). After installing the software, Photoshop CC keeps asking for a serial number. Looks-like a 30 days trial version is installed. Adobe Chat couldn't help me.
Any one some ideas?

CC for photographers

I bought the CC for photographers. I would acc conditions in terms not need to have photoshop already. When I try to start photoshop cc request that I enter a serial number which I do not have. Lightroom starts without problems

you can uninstall lr 5.7
but you should wait a month or two to make sure you don't need it (for an older pluging/peripheral/etc) before uninstalling.
