Photoshop Hotkeys change for no reason - HELP!

I'm using Photoshop CS5 on OSX and all of a sudden my hotkeys (ie. cntl + spacebar = zoom in) don't work
and the only way to zoom is to use the z key or the toolbar. What the hell is going on? Does anybody ahve any answers?
It might help to know that I am using a pc keyboard on a mac mini but Photoshop CS 4 works fine and CS 5 has only just started doiung this.

Brand new account disabled for security reasons -- Help!

Santa brought my daughter an iPod Touch for her main Christmas present. She was so excited, but we cannot get it to work.
We had trouble entering the password and making it match because of my big clumsy fingers (she is blind so I was doing it for her because the speech function wasn't working/wasn't turned on....we are still figuring out how to work it). This is the only reason I can think of to cause this to happen.
When I first got this message I reset the password as required, but this timed out as I had trouble coming up with a password that she could remember that also met Apple's requirements. So I started over again. We are now on our third password in 2 hours, but it is still not working.
I am trying to download the apps for blind users from iTunes, but I keep getting this message that her account has been disabled for security reasons and it tells us to reset the password. However, resetting the password does not fix the problem.
The Apple tech support line is closed for Christmas, so that is no help.
This is going to be a very sad Christmas for my little girl if I cannot discover a way to fix this problem.
I hope someone out there will see this and know what to do!

You need to contact Apple Support: If your Apple ID has been locked - Apple Support
The dialog "This Apple ID has been disabled for security reasons" means that it might be temporary. You can stop trying to log in for a day or two, after which you might be able to log in. Attempting to change it multiple times within an hour won't work. If you were more or less permanently locked out and unable to do anything on your own, they use different wording.
Apple is intentionally vague about the means by which you can recover from this on your own... for security reasons.

MBP unexpectedly shuts down for no reason- help!

MBP unexpectedly shuts down for no reason.
My MBP has been working fine, until I updated to 10.5. Originally this problem started in Bootcamp running XP, but has now done this once in OS X, just a while ago. There seems to be no difference- even when the psu is plugged in. Just now when it did this again, I pressed the power key and the led on the front blinked really fast, then there was a tone- like it was doing a firmware update (but I did the firmware update months ago!).
I've done a power reset- taking out the battery and holding the power key down for 20 seconds, which seems to have helped, but then again this problem seems to be rather sporadic, and one can never tell when it is going to happen next.
Oh yes, there is a mechanical 'click' that sounds when it does it- like a relay click. Is there a relay power related IC on the motherboard?
Any clues anyone? (I'm sending this exact letter to Apple as well)

It's an interesting thread, but I seem to have the problem even when the cord is plugged in. I did have battery problems when I first got this MBP, but they seemed to settle down once I used the computer a bit more. FWIW, I have now got them mostly while using Bootcamp. BC beta 1.3 was really stable and good. It wasn't until I bought Leopard that this problem started. And again, it's only happened 3 or 4 times now.
I'll just have to keep saving. I'm sure Apple will wise up to this sooner or later. (Incidently, I haven't been able to send anything to Apple as I can't find their direct contact addie. Can someone 'remind' me? Thanks!

WRE54G Settings changing for no reason

Hey there,
I have successfully connected my WRE54G to my Netgear DG834G and everything works fine, then for no reason a few hours later, the link light is orange. When i check, I find that the ssid for my WRE54G has changed to what must be the ssid of someone else nearby. At no time before the change do i power anything off for any settings to be lost.
Is it possible that maybe the WRE54G is getting a stronger signal from elsewhere? I don't see how that is possible as there can't be anyone closer than my own router.
Any advise would be great.
Oh and i have v3 WRE54G running ver 3.????? firmware.

hi..it seems that somebody is getting into the network and changing the settings on the range expander...because i don't think that the wireless ssid on the range expander can change automatically..and can get the ssid of your neighbour's network....
so , ensure that u enable WPA security on the router and the range expander..

Weird Mario Music Plays for no Reason -- HELP!!!

Ok guys, I just upgraded to leopard today, and I'm gettin REALLY weird problems. Sometimes, my macbook just plays this weird mario theme like music or this weird buzzing and bird chirping sound for no reason whatsoever. I have made sure that there is nothing running other than finder, yet it is still happening. Also, if it helps, I took a list of all the activities in my activity monitor, so see if you can see anything weird. Here is the list (Now that I think about it, the problem started after I installed the Boot Camp Drivers on my Windows Partition):

I just figured it out.
I had made a web clip of Nintendo.com, and apparanty, it was making the sounds. I guess I didn't realize that web clips keep the sounds associated with the webpages they are linked to. In the end, I guess I paniced over nothing, but man, that was WEIRD!

You have verified that the Energy Saver setting (System Preferances -> Energy Saver) are not responsable for this? Default settings are to put the computer to sleep after 15 minutes of no input to either mouse or keyboard.
If you have done that I would would try resetting the SMU (Resetting the SMU)

I'm using Photoshop CC and for some reason i don't have a browse in mini bridge, help!

Does anyone no ho you get the Browse in mini bridge icon so i can drag and drop images without having to browse in bridge for them

As of CC 2014 the mini bridge has been removed. You can install the previous version if you would like to use it.
Or just have the full version of bridge running in the background, and switch between the two programs. Bridge would have been running for mini bridge to work anyways.

Apple Preview: While moving/editing text boxes created by others in a PDF, font color of that text changes for some reason and I don't want it to!!

I have a project where I've given about 10 people 50 PDF files each to mark up in red text, and send back to me. When they send them back, I in turn need to move or edit some of the text boxes they have created in Apple Preview. For about 8 of these 10 people, when I edit their text boxes and/or move them, Apple Preview immediately changes the text color of the red text to black, or to white. How do I get it to stop doing this? Is this a setting I need to have them change on their end? Or can I fix this on my end (preferable)?

It doesn't go anywhere in that: that isn't a feed, it's a web page. A feed is a text file in XML format.

Iphone 3GS periodically reboots for no reason, help ?

I have a problem with my iPhone 3GS bought 2 years ago in France. (Now i am located in Morocco)
After i updated to 4.1 iphone started to reboot itself periodically for no apparent reason every 5 minutes.
I already tried to restore my iphone, but it doesent seem to help.
What should i do?

ok,did you try these steps? restart.reset.restore? but if you say what you restore it than try to call apple support,and one more thing-if you are on 4.1 update to 4.2-because when i have my iPhone on iOS 4.1 i cannot use it because there was issues with battery draining but after i update to 4.2 everything is normal,and i hate the iOS 4.1,try to update hope it will fix that.

Unwanted automatic time change for no reason

I've got a 6021 that changes time by one or two hours for no apparent reason whether it's in automatic time adjust or not.
The firmware version is 4.10 092005; has it been improved since then?

IPhone 4 vibrating for no reason HELP

My iPhone has been vibrating every 2 hours or so for the last two days for no apparent reason to me. I have not recieved any notications and am wondering why this is happening. In the last 20 minutes it has vibrated 3 times.

Photoshop CS4 Help Window Pops Up For No Reason

This same thing was happening in Photoshop CS3 and I could never figure out why. I figured that since CS4 was coming out, I would buy it, stop using CS3 and the problem would be solved, well it's not. So far, I'm happy with the new program but for some reason, out of nowhere, while working on a photo, the Photoshop Help window (which opens as a web browser window) will pop up for no reason! Today, it popped up over 6 or 7 times and I nearly had to crash the program to get it to stop. I figured this problem would have been solved with the new version since the same thing was happening in CS3 but it hasn't. I'm running a Windows XP-based machine that I built myself about 2 years ago. I have a 512mb ATI Raedon X1650 video card and have 4GB of RAM so this machine has far more than enough power to run the program. I updated my video and mouse drivers prior to installing the program. Anyone else have this problem?

Well I have about 3,5GB RAM on a Windows Vista 32 Bit system (hence just 3,5 instead of the full 4GB), with the OpenGL options activated, and maybe over 100GB of free HD space (that'll never be a problem, but since swapping is not used by all modules, I often bump into RAM problems when using tools like auto-aligning layers or stitching panoramas) and 2,5Ghz core duo on a notebook. The Windows swap file is also "just" 4GB...but I found more than 4GB to be a bit extreme.
RAM usage is set to 56% right now (916MB), cache levels is set to 6
After restart, everything runs fine again, I hope the help screens leave me alone.
I didn't know this is since v. 7! I worked with all versions since 5.0 and since becoming a freelancer also bought every version since 6.0 except 7. I only experienced this bug in this and the previous version. Maybe my hardware doesn't keep pace with PS anymore

Hallo, my Firefox browser wont load youtube for some reason, the explorer will. I have tries to change the proxy setings as the firefox help center suggested, but to no avail. Also no updates were installed on firefox that I'm aware of. pleas help me.

For some reason firefox has stopped loading the youtube site for me. I can watch videos other people uploaded to facebook for example, but cant get into the site. the explorer will load the site, so I've tried changing the proxy settings in my firefox as recommended in the help center, but to no avail. Also there was no update installed that I'm aware of, getting to youtube through any link will simply give me an error message saying the connection was reset while the page was loading.

I had trouble with youtube and cleared all history and cache. This cleared up the problem(s).
