Photoshop "import failed" error. Photos won't import from camera. Anyone else with this error?

I am using photshop elements 9 with windows 7. I have been successful in importing photos in the past. Recently I have received the error message "import failed" "95% nothing was imported the files or folder selected did not contain any supported file types or the files are already in catalog". The files are not in the catalog. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program, I have repaired the catalog as suggested on another thread with the same issue. Nothing is working. On the catalog repair it said there were errors and I did the repair on those, I then tried to import again and got the same error message. I then tried to tag a photo that was already in organizer and received an error message that the files are corrupt.'m beyond frustrated now. Thanks

Radeon HD 5770 graphics card works perfectly with my MAC Pro 1,1 and Adobe CS6. However, I upgraded to Adobe CC and Photoshop CC disabled some filters and 3D functionality. The preference panel for Performance/Graphics Card in Photoshop CC is greyed out and inaccessible and shows this message -
"Photoshop detected an error in your display driver. Update or reinstall the driver and check Use Graphics Processor to retry."
I still have Photoshop CS6 installed and it still works perfectly. Anyone else with this issue? Is there a driver update for this compatable with my setup?

after going round with this Adobe was able to find the fix....opened the "show content" folder for the application Photoshop CC (control click on the application folder) and navigate to the sniffer file and rename it by putting a tilda ~ in front of the name..." ~sniffer ", close and open PhotoshopCC...and voila, problem solved... Connecting through email is extremely important these days donhinson. Let's get this fixed today. I first recommend removing the email account and readding it back to your device.This will help reset the settings. Listed below are steps to check the email settings, outgoing, and incoming servings.
1.From a home screen, select Apps (located in the lower-right).
2. Select Email.
3. From an Inbox, select Menu ( located below the display).
4.Select Account settings.
5.Select Account display name.
6.Enter an name then select OK.
7.Select My name.
8.Enter the name then select OK.
9.Select Signature.
10.Select the desired signature.
--To add a custom signature, select New signature (plus ( ) symbol located in the upper-right), enter the signature then 11. select Save.
12.Select Retrieve interval.
13.Select one of the following:
--Manual
--5 minutes
--10 minutes
--15 minutes
--30 minutes

If you have your old system backed up then erase the drive and restore your backup. If you don't have a backup then backup your entire Home folder. Erase the drive and install Snow Leopard after which you can restore your Home folder from the backup.
Clean Install of Snow Leopard
Be sure to make a backup first because the following procedure will erase
the drive and everything on it.
     1. Boot the computer using the Snow Leopard Installer Disc or the Disc 1 that came
         with your computer. Insert the disc into the optical drive and restart the computer.
         After the chime press and hold down the "C" key. Release the key when you see
         a small spinning gear appear below the dark gray Apple logo.
     2. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue
         button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu.
         After DU loads select the hard drive entry from the left side list (mfgr.'s ID and drive
         size.) Click on the Partition tab in the DU main window. Set the number of
         partitions to one (1) from the Partitions drop down menu, click on Options button
         and select GUID, click on OK, then set the format type to MacOS Extended
         (Journaled, if supported), then click on the Apply button.
     3. When the formatting has completed quit DU and return to the installer. Proceed
         with the OS X installation and follow the directions included with the installer.
     4. When the installation has completed your computer will Restart into the Setup
         Assistant. Be sure you configure your initial admin account with the exact same
         username and password that you used on your old drive. After you finish Setup
         Assistant will complete the installation after which you will be running a fresh
         install of OS X. You can now begin the update process by opening Software
         Update and installing all recommended updates to bring your installation current.
Download and install Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1.
Or you can:
Try these in order testing your system after each to see if it's back to normal:
1. a. Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
    b. Intel-based Macs: Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC)
2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode, then restart again, normally. If this doesn't help, then:
     Boot to the Recovery HD: Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the
     COMMAND and R keys until the Utilities menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the
     computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager
     screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
3. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
     Reinstall the 10.9.3 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Update (Combo).
4. Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks: Reboot from the Recovery HD. Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion, Mavericks from the Utilities menu, and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.
Reinstall the 10.9.3 update: OS X Mavericks 10.9.3 Update (Combo).

Anyone else getting this error: unable to connect to itunes in the cloud?

After iTunes 11 upgrade, I now get this error all the time and syncing and backing up my iDevices won't work.

All the items purchased and in Cloud disappeared and the little cloud icon shows the wavy diagonal lines trying to connect, it fails to connect and a dialog informs that it "cannot connect to the cloud", but no other internet problems are present. Then the little cloud icon just disappeared and does not or has not come back. Movies, TV shows, Music are all gone right now. Anyone else with this issue? Apple System Status says all is green.

If Dreamweaver shows a message saying "the following JavaScript error(s) occurred", it's usually a sign of a corrupt cache file. The first thing you should always be to delete the file cache. If that doesn't work, delete your personal Configuration folder. Please go through the steps mentioned in thread Deleting a corrupted cache file.

Try resetting (rebooting) the iPad. Hold both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. The iPad will restart after a couple of minutes. Resetting this way will not hurt anything, and sometimes solves mysterious problems.

I get the following error as soon as I plug in my Shuffle. I have had this problem almost a year and I've taken my suffle into the store, had it restored several times. It works fine at the Apple store but when I get it home this is what I get. I cant use my shuffle and it's killing me. Even calling Apple tech support was useless... after waiiting on hold for an hour the guy basically said he didn't have any idea how to fix this.

You could be having a drive collision with another device on your computer. Connect your Shuffle to a rear port on your computer, then connect your keyboard and mouse. Disconnect ALL other USB devices including printers, thumb drives, scanners, modems, digital cameras, external hard drives, infinite improbability drives, etc. If you are on a network, disconnect from the network.
Now change the drive letter on your iPod. Use something much higher like M or P or Z, unless you have another device that uses this letter:

Phone won't charge when I plug it in. Anyone else with this issue?

Not sure if this has anything to do with the new download, but Thursday I downloaded the '08 updates (yeah...I am slow getting to it), anyway... while I was downloading the updates, my phone of course was charging from the computer. After the download was finished I turned my phone off and plugged the phone into the wall charger. Charged fine... well last night (Saturday) I had to recharge my phone, but once I connected my phone to the wall charger it would not respond and/or start charging. Tried to plug it into the computer and it said my USB port was overloaded. I was ticked... needless to say I tried again this morning with no luck. Left my phone off for a few hours still nothing. Called tech. support and the guy asked me to try it again on the computer and read what the error said to him.....low and behold it started charging... on the pc and then on the wall charger. I have no idea why it started to work. I was happy it did, but has anyone else had this issue?

Odd problem, but there are all kinds of problems with the wall chargers. If you want a new one, make an appointment with your local Genius Bar at the apple store, bring in your misfunctioning one, and they will swap it out for a new one. They do this routinely for charging bricks, sync cords, and headphones.

W350 2101 mSATA not detected, anyone else getting this error?

Hi guys im loving my W350 but on start up I get an error message saying 2101 error miniSata drive not detected.
It has also done this once whle in use which is more worrying.
I have taken the keyboard off, removed the 16gb mSata and replaced it, but it still is not being detected.
If anyone has any thoughts Id be really grateful.

Hi there, thanks for the response.
Im having trouble identifying the drivers as the drive isnt showing in the device manager anymore. While it briefly did show up aftrer the BIOS update reboot, it searched and said the drivers were correct but I didnt note the number..
is there a way i can find this out?
Also, is this problem generally caused by drivers rather than a faulty hardware etc? Ill hang fire on sending the drive back if maybe I can fix it..

The most recent update I have in the App Store is an OSX update but I receive this error message when I select the update button. (The operation couldn’t be completed. NSURLErrorDomain error -1012. -1012. Can anyone tell me why or how to delete this update in the que from the app center and try again? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, it happens to me too. Btw, where can I get the copy of OC4J with javax-ssl-1_2.jar and jsse-1_2.jar? Because my copy of OC4J only provide javax-ssl-1_1.jar and jsse-1_1.jar.
