Photoshop Keeps Changing To Photoshop Extended

I have a subscription too the basic version of Photoshop. However when I open Photoshop I get Photoshop Extended, if I then de-activate, boot again and go through the authentication procedure it then correctly starts as Photoshop. However if I change anything in preferences the next time I start Photoshop it launches Photoshop Extended - whats going on, I don't need the Extended functions and don't whant any risk of having to pay for them.

What version do you have, specifically, on what operating system? Do you have a perpetual license or Cloud Subscription?
There have been several versions that "forget" their activation status because of corruption. Adobe thinks they've fixed this with the latest updates (13.0.4 / 13.1.2).
Extended/Standard has little to do with this - there's only one software set and when it drops out of "activated" mode and returns to "trial" mode the trial always shows the Extended feature set. The root cause is that you've dropped out of "activated" mode.

I have just recently bought photoshop, When I use the magnifier, it sometimes zooms on the left mouse button and zooms out on the right mouse button. Other times it dosn't do this. Why does it keep changing and how do I get it to stay on L/R button zoom?

Photoshop keeps changing color code

When I open the color picker in photoshop CS4 I enter the color code fd02c5. For some reason it won't let me use that exact color and keeps automatically changing it to d54599. It has done this before with other colors.
How can I get it to use that exact color and stop changing it?

Your doc is CMYK and fd02c5 is outside the gamut (available colors) of your CMYK color space. Try working in sRGB or pick a color within the CMYK gamut.

Problem animating 3D position change in Photoshop Extended CS6

I am trying to animate a simple 3D position change in Photoshop Extended CS6 (OS 10.7.4)
Here's what I do:
1. I move my object to its starting position.
2. I move the Current Time Indicator ("playhead") to the time I want the position change to start.
3. I click the Time‑Vary stopwatch icon on the Position layer of the timeline, and a keyframe is automatically created, no problem.
4. I move the playhead away from the initial keyframe to the time I want the position change to end.
5. I move my object to its ending position.
At this point, I expect to see the second keyframe be automatically created, as advertised, BUT it is not. What's more, if i move the playhead to "scrub" through the animation, I see no movement. What's happened is the position I set for Keyframe 1 has changed to the position I just moved the object to, which I intended to be Keyframe 2.
Any advice greatly appreciated!

Same problem here. I cant seem to get any predictable behaviour from the 3d camera in terms of adding keyframes. Other non-3d layers dont seem to be affected.

Photoshop CS6 - Color keeps changing

I have Photoshop CS6 for Windows 7.
Whenever I put the main color in and then switch it out for another color, the main color that's been used before keeps changing into a darker color instead of the same color tone it was taken from. I don't know if there's a problem with the RGB Color, or something else I need to check. Is there something that can fix this?

Okay then. I mean when I use the Eyedropper Tool on the color that I had already put on a picture, the color becomes darker than what is shown when I use the Brush tool.
Like when I put light red as the foreground color, then switch it out for another color, then used the Eyedropper tool to copy the light red color to use it again, the light red color instead becomes a slight darker red when I use the brush or other related tools I use to color in my picture.
Hope this detail is clear enough.

Photoshop keeps installing in the wrong language!

I am based in Germany and have a window 8 machine with Creative Cloud Photoshop and Lightroom membership. Lightroom has installed correctly in English, however for some reason Photoshop keeps installing in German. I have gone into the creative cloud panel and selected English and reinstalled Photoshop however it still in German!! HELP!! Various actions are therefore not working!! Photoshop cs6 opens on Photoshop extended windows. Impossible to open standalone program. I never suscribed to extended,. Photoshop extendes doesn't appear in my programs list.

I have used Photoshop cs6 since two years without any problem. Yesterday, when trying to open it, a message appeared : "Internal problem in photoshop (code 16). Please reinstall photoshop.
So did I. But now, when I try to open photoshop, a window appears with photoshop extended proposing to go to the net for subsciption. I say no, the window closes an that's all.
I never susscribed to adobe extended programs and do neither have photoshop extended in my program list nor in the registery base.

Thank you. That solved that problem. I still can't get Windows 7 to associate TIF files to Photoshop. It's associated to it in Bridge, but when I try in Windows control panel, the file shows as being associated to Paint. When I try to change it, Photoshop is not even on the list of available programs. When I Browse to the directory and click Photoshop.exe, nothing happens. The association doesn't change and Photoshop does not appear as a choice. So I have no idea what to try next.

CS3 Photoshop keeps crashing

Not having the best of luck with Adobe support(web support tells me to seek voice support, voice support advises me to seek web support, and the loop continues) so I hope someone here has an idea of what I need to do since I'm just about ready to can these programs!
This is on the CS3 Web Premium suite. Everything worked fine until recently when opening two images in Photoshop causes the program to crash. It doesn't matter what the size or the format of the images are. Even trying to start a new image with one open will crash it. Now its spreading to my Dreamweaver and that program will let me open as many files as I want, I can sync with the web server, and I can edit text IF I don't highlight it. Selecting an image, highlighting text, and trying to change stuff in code all causes Dreamweaver to crash and close exactly like Photoshop does.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 3 times already and these are the only programs giving me issues as Fireworks, Illustrator, Acrobat, Flash, and all my other programs work perfectly. I have also used CS3Clean after one of the uninstalls and still had no luck. On a side note, neither of the programs tell me why they crashed, I just get a dialog to send an error report.
**EDIT** Forgot to add system specs:
XP SP3
Core 2 Duo 4400
4GB RAM
250GB system drive @ 24% capacity
500GB mirrored working drives @ 83% capacity
The system drive and the working drives have been checked for consistency and passed.

To elaborate on my situation:
Photoshop:
I am not running 2 versions, I used adobe updater to upgrade from version 10.0 to 10.0.1
OS:
I didn't downgrade, sorry for the confusion, I tried to run photoshop on both 10..5.2 and 10.5.3 and they both cause the same problem.
I also tried disk repair; and permission repair as well as a complete reinstall of the os.
Drivers:
Latest wacom drivers are installed, photoshop seems to be stable without the drivers when the tablet is recognized only as a mouse; not a pressure sensitive device.
No font damage detected; clean photoshop preferences did not seem to matter as I was running on a clean install, both OS and Photoshop wise.
All read / write permissions are on because I am running in administrator mode.
Current status:
Running OSX 10.5.4
Photoshop 10.0.1 (updated via adobe updater)
Wacom 608-2 drivers on an intuos3 tablet
Photoshop keeps crashing when using the tablet with drivers installed; usually when trying to paint.

Locate sniffer.exe and rename it ~sniffer.exe

This solution was offered by Adobe chat support, after a very long and fruitless exchange. Apparently, the support tech finally asked around, and someone else in the room gave him the correct answer.

My photoshop keeps quitting every few weeks. My subscription is active. System Info - OS X - 10.8.5.

I have been extremely frustrated with Adobe CC. It has delayed my image delivery to clients because photoshop keeps quitting and I am asked to renew subscription or go on trial. I find it ridiculous that Adobe has not found a fix to this issue after over a year now. Every month I am asked to renew my subscription and now I cannot even open photoshop and my subscription is active. I am being told its an apple issue. I spoke to 3 senior techs today for 8 hours and all they could say " Its not our problem ". I dont run any antivirus or firewall. Its very frustrating that my business is suffering because Adobe cannot get their act together. Extremely rude and rather dumb tech support. I am on a Mac Pro. 1GB RAM. Mac OS X. Version 10.8.5

Hello, and good evening from Athens, Greece.
I would like to ask a question concerning my CC membership.
I’ve started 1 and a half year ago by paying 29,99 € for the entire CC (all programs). Now, it’s 49,99 € and I’m having a really difficult time to keep it this way. I’m living in a country which is in the middle of crisis and my profession as a graphic designer, is not an exception to reduced spendings on advertising.
My question is, can I have a decreased / cheaper monthly priced membership for some time, by keeping active only Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC and Acrobat? I don’t need for now the other apps. Can I have a membership plan only for those applications? I would very much appreciate your respond, a help and a solution to my issue.

I don't think adobe offers an upgrade path from photoshop album 2.0, but you can find photoshop elements
12 cheaper at your local box store than even the adobe upgrade price.
They are both the full versions anyway.
