sometimes the "opm.db file" is the culprit. In this case you should delete it.
But as much as I regret it and as strange as it may seem I fear it's a challenge for Adobe's Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.
Sometimes - for whatever reasons - CC doesn't "want" to work. In this case you should CC completely delete and reinstall by help of Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool. (A try to uninstall by own resources is not enough!)

How to get the list of icc profile,which Photoshop loaded?
I am developing a automation plugin,but I do not know how to get the list of icc profile,which photoshop loaded.
I have read the log of "getter" and "Listener",and not find the way to get the list.Thank you for you answer.
I find a icc profile has a "internal name" which show in the color setting menu in photoshop and a "external name" which is the file name. And the "internal name" maybe different with "external name".
How I can get the "internal name" from the icc profile? I do not find the information in the ICC Profile Format Specification.

I'm using ArchLinux 64bit, with KDE 4.3.4 on a sony vaio, everything work fine, but after some normal work I see that process X takes more then 90% of CPU and never slow down. Even if I closed all my application it stays at 90%. I don't know how to see which application could cause this.
As first impression it seems when I use samba adn move some file from my machine to a windows machine, but today it takes high load cpu without using samba, so I don't know what else do, any good advice?

Anyway I have a Sony Vaio VGN.SR21M, using opensource driver xf86-video-radeonhd with hardware acc on. My graphics card is a Radeon3400HD
I used the closed driver till I switch to Xorg 1.7 and so I can't using it anymore so I switched to the free one.
Should I disable desktop effects?

I have 9 Domain Controllers 2012 (not R2) and one DC 2008R2 in one Domain. Damain has 5 sites. There are some trusted domains. All DCs are VirtualMachines on VmWare. Damain and Forest tevel - 2008R2.
All 2012 DCs have the same problem. WinRM load CPU on 100% and DC doesn't answer on requests, ping works, RDP try connecting but can't sign-in. The problem appear randomly (not simultaneously) on all DCs. DC 2008R2 works good.
I dasabled WinRM on all DCs and users can works but I need WinRM.

What is wrong with photoshop loading process
I recently bought a new laptop , I5 processor , 4 gb of ram , pretty powerfull system in general but like the previous photoshop versions this new one is a pain to load everything .
I installed about 2 weeks ago the trial version of CS5 and since i have a 64 bits system , everything i have done with it has been blazing fast , but for some unknown reasons , Photoshop 9 is a pain to load , to go to editor and to do anything with images in general , everything takes longer to do than CS5 , somehow it seems to take more sytem resources than CS5 .
Why ?
IT's frustrating as hell , i thought the version installed was a 64 bits as well , if it's not the case , maybe that's the answer , but i am going to continue trying it and see how it performs , but might decide to go with another brand , because i don't have the mopney for CS5 right now .
And no ( for those who might ask ) my system was not low on memory when it happened .Elements is 32 bits, yes. One thing you can try is to go into the Organizer preferences>Media Analysis and be sure the Auto Analyzer is turned off.

New to photoshop cc, CPU running at 100%
right, basically ive started doing abit more photography and have bought a new camera and several lenses, im currently using the trial version of photoshop cc to see if i like it but when trying to reduce camera shake it runs my CPU at 100% and gives an error message saying unable to complete.
Im using a decent gaming machine for the software to run on and have no problems playing any high end games on highest settings, dont see how editing a picture would use more CPU than a game.
Can anyone help before i buy a new cpu for it?

Problems with Photoshop - loading filters and brushes
I'm having problems with my plug ins in Photoshop, which also includes brush sets.
There are all present and correct in the usual area you save them with in the application folders.
But when I want to use them in Photoshop either they don't show, or I get an error message saying I don't have the privileges to load them.
If you can help in any way, it would be great as I am at a loss on how I can get them to work. These are fairly critical to completing certain work (graphics for distressed T Shirts)
and would like to get them up and working before a project flies in and I can't use them.
I was able to add a few plug ins by changing the permissions on the files. But this has not solved the problem for all & I am still unable to get "MACHINE WASH DELUXE" to work.
Any help or suggestions would be useful,

StonesSorry, the brushsets appear to be fine but it is the plugins we still have issues with. 8BF. files, they are stored under photoshop CS4 in applications, this plug in were trying to get work "MACHINE WASH DELUXE" worked on this Mac & Photoshop version previously, but on a different user account (Now a domain user, used to be a administrator that connects into the domain) Interestingly though non of the plugins work for the scanner etc, although they are in the same location as they would of been for the previous user. Not much done in trouble shooting the issue, once the brushes started to appear because we corrected the permissions, we were stumped on what move to take next.

Photoshop loading photo files very slow (not printer)
For the past several weeks Photoshop C3 has been loading even the smallest of photo files very, very slowly -- about 10-15 seconds for one.
I read an earlier post to this affect, that said it might be a networked printer, but the printer on this computer is NOT networked.
I'm running Windows XP, latest update, with 3 gig of RAM. And we have deleted and reloaded the Photoshop program and updated it to make sure it's not a file goober in the program.
Anyone else experiencing this trend and/or have any solutions.

Thanks for the effort, but alas it didnt make any difference.
Our IT support crew tried a variety of generic drivers in the default mode, but a 56k photo still took 15 seconds to load.
However, I still had a version of "Photoshop CS" on my machine. So, out of curiosity I fired up CS and grabbed the same test photos, and bam the photo popped right up. So it is definitely a CS3 issue
Any other solutions that you know of?

Photoshop loading some Blues as Black?

Having upgraded my PC. I did a new windows installed and installed Photoshop CS6.
The problem I have.... When I open or paste an image that contains certain colours. They show in photoshop as black. (only under RGB)
Loading the image in MS Paint doesn't produce the issue and when I save out from Photoshop. The saved image is fine.
All settings are the default out of the box.
Any ideas? It's driving me nuts now!

In this case ATI introduced some problems in the latest drivers. You might want to roll back to the 12.8 drivers (last stable version). -

The problem I have is that when i open this file only, it starts to load and then stops and the curser just spins. I have tried to let it go overnight and in the morning it still is spinning. all other functions of Photoshop are locked and I have to use ctrl alt delete to get out of photoshop. other files open just fine so i'm wondering if this file is corrupt or not.thanks. that was what I was afraid of. the problem with just placing the file is that I loose all channel info. I guess I will have to start over. I reset my PS preferences just in case that had something to do with it, hopefully it wont happen again. thanks!

Does anyone have any insight as to what happens to repainting when the system CPU is heavily loaded, essentially 100%?
The situation I have is somewhat like AutoCAD. The application is constantly retrieving a bunch (243) of XY coordinates from a remote server, then displays them on a grid which takes up most of the user's screen. The retrieving thread only calls repaint on the graph component (a custom widget I made). My buttons and menus redraw poorly, if at all, but the graph data redraws just fine. The retrieving thread calls repaint() on my graph component approximately 60 to 100 times a second.
Does it matter how the Swing thread coalesces paint requests? Does anyone know how that works?
Thanks.It turns out that using drawRect() to draw 100 small rectangles is about 10x slower than drawing them with fillRect(). The rectangles are only 2 pixels by 2 pixels. I swapped the function calls and it worked soooo much faster.

Bridge CS4 for Mac: Tools Photoshop Load Files into Photoshop Layers... (?!)
When I invoke the above subject command I keep getting the following error: "Photoshop CS4 is currently busy with another task. Would you like to queue this command?"
The fact is, PS CS4 isn't doing anything (that I know of). If I quit PS and re-launch, I still get the same Bridge error. Anybody run into this problem? Anybody know what "queue" Bridge is referring to and how to access said queue?
Many thanks.Here's what's strange. Yes, I deleted and rebuilt my Brige prefs. That did no good. That is, the queue message disappeared, but otherwise nothing happened. The images still would not all appear as layers within the same PSD. Instead, nothing happened, other than the PS application would switch into focus.
Then I thought that maybe the problem was that I was using jpegs, and all jpegs are set to open first in ACR. So I turned off that setting. Once again, nothing happened.
Last, I rebuilt Photoshop's Settings file upon launch. Still nothing.
Any more ideas? -
Plugin-container over load cpu
ever since the update with the plugin-container most videos stop and start. my cpu usage pegs at 100. when I shut down plugin-container everything go to normal except vids shut down. can this be removed or do I need to get a different browser. everything was fine untill update. my wifes computer was having the same problem so she switched to chrome and fixed her problem. I'm thing of doing the same.

Try to disable IPC.
You can set the prefs dom.ipc.plugins.enabled.* to '''false''' on the about:config page to disable the plugin-container process to see if that helps.
