Photoshop Photography Program advertised, but not available in Hungary?
After filling out the order form for Photoshop Photography Program the PS + LR boundle, after processing the payment the website gave an erroe message: Payment System Unavailable and offered me to try again, or place the order over the phone. I have spent about 2 hours total on the phone, mostly waiting and on hold calling a UK based number. Adding up the charge for the minutes calling UK from Hungary, the phone bill might be as much as a full PS license.
I also spoke to a manager at the sales, I told him my story and he told me that they extended the special, so it did not end on the 2nd of December. The special will remain 'til the 8th of December. He transferred my call to another sales agent. She was helpful, but she couldn't process the payment either. She told me that I can not purchase this type of plan, because ungary is not registered. Whatever that means, it is mindblowing that they advertise the plan that not available from here. What a bunch of BS!
I am wandering, if anyone has a little more info on this matter!

What file(s) do you want to associate with Shockwave Player?
SW player is a browser add-on, not a standalone player.

Gear Fit being advertised but not available!
The Samsung gear fit is being advertised in the weekly ad in my area, RI/MA but it is not available ANYWHERE! What is the issue? The weekly ad popup states that it is in stock at 7 stores near me but then when you go to actually buy it online for store pickup you cannot. I called some of the stores and they all said that they do not have it and have not had it for some time. Why advertise an item that you cannot buy?

Loopt advertised but not available in Dutch store; can you get it?
Is there a way to get Loopt from the Dutch iTunes Store?
On the Dutch iPhone site it is advertised (in Dutch) and it even contains a link, which makes iTunes say you can't get it in the Dutch Sote.We are fellow users here on these user-to-user forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. You can try requesting that the app be added to the Saudi store, but unless the developers agree to it (and if there aren't any Saudi law preventing it) then Apple won't be able to add it : http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunes.html
You could also try contacting the developers directly and see if they have any plans to add it to the Saudi store (or if there are any Saudi laws stopping them). -

I quote: You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.

I have an active subscription to Photoshop Photography Program but button alongside Photoshop in CC says "Try", not "Install".
Also, Lightroom is not on the list of apps.Seems to be fixed now. In CC Photoshop has "Install" button and Lightroom is present, also with "Install" button.

Not qualified for Photoshop Photography Program
I just went on adobe site and entered my serial number for my Photoshop cs5 extended and it said I was not qualified for the Photoshop Photography Program at 9.95 mo--I also own lightroom 5

Adobe's educational licenses have never been upgradeable. Typically they're sold at a great discount. You probaboy can buy new full educational licenses at educational discounts, if you qualify as a student or educator.
Adobe's recent, perpetual license upgrades - such as, to Photoshop CS6 - have accepted a student license as a qualifying product. Not the suite license since that is a completely different product, but student versions of Photoshop.
That acted as the affordable entry point, for people who might manage a commercial upgrade, but not an initial commercial-price purchase at many hundreds of dollars. But AFAICT this discounted membership is given on the strength of having in the past shelled out a lot of money buying a perpetual license. Someone who has not done that, IMO should not feel aggrieved at missing out on this particular discount.
It is specifically not aimed at them. I read it as a goodwill gesture / incentive / sop to other people, who have got to this point much more expensively, than this hypothetical student will have done. -

For a fresh download on a new hard drive, it's best to start with the CC desktop app. Sign into adobe.com and download it here: creative.adobe.com/products/download/creative-cloud
You can then launch the desktop, sign in and download PS & LR. -
Lightroom asks for Serial Code but I subscribed to the Photoshop Photography Program
I subscribed to the Photoshop Photography Program which includes Photoshop AND Lightroom.
Lightroom keeps asking for a serial code.
I need help.Your subscription is paid & active.
Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.
Log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App.
In case it is not signing in successfully please try the following:
I don't know which operating system you are working on so i am giving you some steps windows and MAC OS:
Windows:
In windows 7 navigate to following location:
/windows/system32/drivers/etc
1. look out for "Hosts" file
2. Open it with notepad
3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
On Windows XP navigate to following location:
\windows\system32\drivers\etc
1. look out for "Hosts" file
2. Open it with notepad
3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
Mac:
1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
3. Remove the entries and save the file
4. try again launching any product from CC

On my recent receipt it only lists photoshop photography program and not lightroom 5 -.why?
Just curious as to why on my recent purchase on the receipt it does not list "Lightroom 5" only "photoshop photography program"
If you have any trial /beta version of lightroom installed in the computer then you need to uninstall it (Manually uninstall Lightroom) or use CC cleaner tool(Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6)
Or
uninstall it completely by checking the preference boxes too.
Now restart the computer & download & install from the CC desktop App. It should work.
Then you need to install it from the CC Desktop App (www.creative.adobe.com)

I own a commercial version of Photoshop CS5 (Extended) and have registered the product. I would like to purchase the ‘Photoshop Photography Program for CS3+ customers’ however when I type in my product serial number the system says “We don't have any registered products associated with this Adobe ID”. Is there away around this? Thanks in advance!
You need to talk to Adobe directly when it comes to purchasing matters.

Does Photoshop Photography Program include use of Typekit?
I subscribe to Adobe's Photoshop Photography Program and notice that the Creative Cloud desktop application indicates that I can turn Typekit on. However, it's not clear if Typekit is included in my subscription.
In the Creative Cloud FAQ I see this:

Thanks for your interest in Typekit! The Photoshop Photography Program includes a Typekit Trial plan, which allows you to sync a selection of fonts from the Typekit library to your desktop and use them on the web as well.
If you would like to have full access to all of the fonts in the Typekit library, you would need to upgrade to the Portfolio level. If you would like to do that:
1) sign in at https://typekit.com/login with your Adobe ID and password
2) visit typekit.com/plans, and select the "upgrade" option underneath Portfolio. Your Typekit plan upgrade will be billed separately from your Creative Cloud payments. The Portfolio plan is $49.99/year.

Two different Photoshop Photography Program offers?

It states that the $9.99/month price is not an introductory price, but THE price for anyone who owns Photoshop CS3 or later, and that you have until Dec 31 to sign up. The Black Friday offer that is currently being promoted seems to be open to anyone and the $9.99/month is only for the first year. Will the original offer be made available again after the Black Friday deal is over? I don't want to rush to sign up for the Black Friday deal and face a huge monthly subscription increase in a year.
Also, if it's even relevant after the answer to the previous question, would the original offer be available to owners of CS5, or does it have to be the standalone Photoshop program?

After that, the original offer kicks back in. Owners of standalone CS3-CS6 are eligible (and no-one else) until Dec 31.
