Photoshop shortcuts dont work. Displaying ⌘≠. Why?

Suddently today my Photoshop shortcut commands do not work. They all say ⌘≠ next to them. The quick keys for the tool palette work, but the commands do not. I tried restarting the computer and resetting photoshop settings. I looked in Edit>Keyboard Shortcuts and saw no preferences for turning them off. I looked in keyboard shortcuts in System Preferences and saw nothing. What did I do?

Bookmark dont work allways, why?

after add a pdf book to a library, and set a bookmark, often when i open it, the adobe
digital editions show the first page of the pdf book not the bookmark, othertimes
the page who the bookmark was set. why?
when i look all pages i can find the bookmark anywhere, but how can i go directly to the bookmark?

Most keyboard shortcuts dont work

hello, most of the editing keyboard short cuts like crtl + c and so on dont work. however the shortcuts work for undo and save, set inpoint etc. i dont understand, they are all marked correctly in the commands list..anyone??

With at least Page Up/Page Down and Ctrl+K, they are dependent on having target tracks active. Click the track selectors in the header area (far left side of the timeline panel) to activate one or more tracks. Now, those shortcut keys should be effective.

Safari shortcuts dont work for navigating through open tabs

I read that Control-Tab or Control-Shift-Tab are shortcuts that navigate left and right through open windows in Safari.
I also ready that CMD-Shift-left arrow navigates to the left. But only moves once, and if you select same with right arrow, nothing happens.
Under Settings Application shortcuts, there are no setting setup for CMD-Shift-left arrow so I guess that this is 'built in'?
I would like to navigate using keyboard shortcuts left and right through open tabs in Safari. Please can you advise as I am stuck with the above and they dont help me....

Thanks! The shortcut can be set like this in AI, although all key combinations I would want to use are not allowed. Too bad. But anyways, thank you very much for the tip!
cmd+~ is not an option for me, I guess, since the swiss/german keyboard layout has no dedicated tilde key.
So, I have a working shortcut in PS (ctrl+tab / of which I still don't know how to change, if possible at all) and thanks to you, I can now set one in AI as well. Unfortunately, I can not set it to be identical as in PS, since the "cmd" key needs to be included in AI's shortcut assignment dialogue, but I guess, this is as good as it gets.

I use the shortcuts for premiere alot but the keyboard shortcuts are no longer working

ctrl + k = cut function
home
end
not working
but the play rewind and pause j,k, l are working
i tried changing the shortcut to something else and then back but that didnt work eithe

'Ctrl U' Shortcut not working

all of my other photoshop shortcuts are working except the 'Cntl U' and it worked fine yesterday... any ideas? I use Cs5 on an HP btw. Thanks

What are you using I had no problem with Windows 8.1, CC 2014 with or without my Wacom Tablet on my Surface Pro 3. I can no longer test Windows 8.1 for I now have Window 10 Technical Preview Build 10049 on my Surface Pro 3. Has some problems Surface Hub and Windows Reliability History crash for example and some windows apps like Mail, Calendar and contacts are still not ready only place holders exist. Windows 10 is not ready yet. However CC 2014 works in the preview and shortcuts work.
Upgrade to 8.1 its free....

Keyboard shortcuts not working in Photoshop CC

I have photoshop CC through Creatuve cloud. My keyboard shortcuts stop working, then photoshop really slows down, then crashes. I've been through Adobe support five times now, and it works for about 1/2 hour, then acts up again. Any suggestions/reciommendations? Thanks - Wendy Caro

I am also having this problen since the update to Photoshop CC 14.2. The 14.2.1 update did not fix this and the problem was not there before 14.2.
My problem is when a file is first opened, the key short cuts do not work. You need to physically click on the selection tool before any of the key shortcuts work. After clicking on the sleection tool I can then use all the key shortcuts as normal. This behaviour is repeated every time a new file is opened. Photoshop does not crash.
I am on a Mac, OSX 10.8.5
I am also using a Wacom Intuos 5 with the latest driver 6.3.7-3.
FYI, I have seen significant slow down across the Adobe CC apps since a big Creative Cloud update a few weeks ago that introduced Photoshop CC 14.2 and InDesign 9.2 (which continues to be MUCH slower than CS6).
The problems and slow down are NOT repeated on other identical Macs in our studio that do not have Wacom tablets. I believe the finger can be squarely pointed at the Adobe/Wacom interface and both sides need to take a good look at their inter-workings.

F is the default shorcut for »Change Screen Mode« for me, so I’m not sure what you want with the qualifier keys.
Have you changed your Edit > Keyboard Shortcut?

Ctrl+M Curves Keyboard Shortcut Photoshop CS5 not working

For some reason, the keyboard shortcut for Curves (ctl+M) is no longer working. It worked fine for a while and then just stopped. All other shortcuts are working. When I go into Preferences, I cannot assign a different shortcut. So, it seems that there is a problem with assigning ANY keyboard shortcut to Curves rather than some issue with just the Ctrl+M keystrokes. I still can access curves from the menu, but I use curves very often and it is a real inconvenience.
Has anybody else encountered this problem? What is the cause and/or how can it be rectified?

This may help very little, but it's a data point: I can do Ctrl M no problem, it brings the Curves dialog right up. That says it's not a systemic problem with 12.0.3.
Do you have the latest Photoshop update?
What operating system are you running?
Do you have an image layer active when you're trying this? I assume so, since you said you could do Curves from the menu, but I thought I'd ask.
Have you installed any 3rd party plug-ins between the time it worked and didn't?
