Photoshop sign in - signup required

Hi -
I pay my subscription every month and have not made any changes to it. I have launched Photoshop CC and it asks me to sign up for a free trial, which is obviously wrong. When I sign in, it tells me to enter a serial. This is really frustrating as it was working fine before. Please help

You do not have any billing issue, the CC is active.
Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.
Log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App.
In case it is not signing in successfully please try the following:
I don't know which operating system you are working on so i am giving you some steps windows and MAC OS:
   Windows:
   In windows 7 navigate to following location:
     /windows/system32/drivers/etc
   1. look out for "Hosts" file
   2. Open it with notepad
   3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
   4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
   On Windows XP navigate to following location:
   \windows\system32\drivers\etc
   1. look out for "Hosts" file
   2. Open it with notepad
   3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
   4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
   Mac:
   1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
   2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
   3. Remove the entries and save the file
   4. try again launching any product from CC

Photoshop CS6 Extended - system requirements

I have the chance to buy the student version but tried the 30 day trial first, however it kept crashing, it has now expired without me finding a solution. I have now uninstalled it. I was told my specs are above the minimum required to run it but I'm not so sure as I have no idea what the processor types and graphic card types actually mean. I would really like to buy it but have to be sure of exactly what it will take to run it and be stable. Here are my current specs:

Photoshop Creative Cloud License requires login every time

Every time I start Photoshop CS6, I am required to login with my adobe ID. Is this necessary? having to login every time I use the software is very annoying. This also happens with After Effects.
the FAQ says that I should only have to login once per month, but this happens everytime the software starts.
I'm using windows 7.

Is your original issue resolved now? Regarding this issue with "C:\Windows\system32\wbem\fastprox.dll", this appears to be a Windows system file. It may have been corrupted. To repair it:
1. Please insert the original Windows installation disk
2. Launch a Cmmand Prompt window with Administrative privileges
3. Issue the following command: sfc /ScanNow
This is a built-in command in Windows that scans the entire Windows folder and attempts to repair system files that may be corrupt. This may take as much as 25 to 30 minutes to complete.

PhotoShop Sign Required!!!

Trying to run PhotoShop, Promts me to Sign In Requirment screen, Select Sign in I go to Trail page. All the while I'm already loged in Adobe cc, other program seam tobe working fine. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled program.

Scanning photos and Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 system requirements

Hello all-
A long, involved question here, so bear with me.
I have a Power Mac G4, still working fine even though it's almost 8 years old.
I want to scan a number of photos for use in a Final Cut Pro 5 project. (I have an Epson Workforce 610 all-in-one scanner). If I understand correctly, the scanner will scan in square pixels, which is no good for video, so I will need to re-save the images in non-square pixels (or rectangular pixels with an 0.9 PAR?). I will also probably want to touch up/re-size a number of the image stills.
It seems to me that I could do this in Adobe Photoshop Elements, only my G4 doesn't have the necessary system requirements. Elements 9 needs a higher operating system, which I can't get because my G4 doesn't have an Intel processor. A side issue is that I also don't have a very large hard drive since the computer is so old (75 GB, about 15 GB free). But I plan to alter the images and then save them to an external drive which has plenty of space.
What to do? I have I-photo '09, but that doesn't seem to have the same functionality as Photoshop Elements 9. Should I try to get an old version of Elements on ebay? Do past versions of Elements have the option of converting from square to non-square pixels? Will past versions of Elements even work on my G4? (I read something which suggested that really old versions, like Elements 2, might not).
Any other options? (Short of buying a new computer, which I don't really want to do).
Thoughts? Advice?

Launching a signed application that requires ibm-jre-1.5.0 from sun 1.4.2

I am having problems with java web start not starting my application.
The progress gui shows 'starting application' while the progress bar keeps blinking away.
The application jars are signed using IBM-jdk's jarsigner.
The setup is as follows:
The client machines have only Sun's jdk-1.4.2_05 installed.
The application requires a Java5 jre, so a jnlp file has been crafted that installs the required jre (provided by WebSphere thin client).
The jre-installation goes well, i.e. the jre shows up in the web start guis as installed by the name specified.
When web start tries to run the application on the 1.5.0-jre, it fails with the following produced in the web start log file:

I am confused as to who is actually having the problem, the sun web start JRE or the ibm jre.
Does anyone have any hints?

Found it!!!
It was not the applet.-tag... But the JRE that copies the proxy-settings from IE at some point (installation maybe) and uses those settings allthough I changed my settings in IE to work on our intranet.
So I just changed the proxy-settings in the JRE control panel and now it works fine.

Lens Profile Downloader 1.0.1 - Can't sign in as required

To download profiles the utility requests sign in to photoshop.com.
When entering the same e-mail and password that I use to sign on from my browser I get:
"Could not log in to this account"
I am using Win7 64bit. Previously I had CS5 Ext and just recently upgraded to CS6.
The same Adobe e-mail and password that work for everything else, don't work in Lens Profile Downloader

You shouldn't have to sign in just to download the profiles, just hit the Download button.
I believe you would only sign if you wanted to rate or comment on a lens profile.
Not sure that part of photoshop.com even exists anymore.

Photoshop cs4 Graphic Card Requirements!!

Hello Guyz!! I wanted to learn Photoshop CS4 on my Dell Precision 670 Intel Xeon 2.8 Ghz × 2.8 Ghz With 2Gb of Ram and Graphic Card Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series of 128 MB n I am using Windows 7 Ultimate!! Now, I can't "Enable OpenGL Drawing" in Photoshop and I guess I will have to change my graphic card to help the cause!! Please Suggest a Graphic Card that should work well throughout my Photoshop Learning Process!! Thanks

LOL, there are 1000's of documents explaining it. You are way over thinking it.
32 bit OS can only handle 4 gigs worth of memory addresses. period. That's not saying all video ram is in use all the time, but that all video ram it is available at all times. In order for it to be available it needs to have an address so the OS can send data to it. That memory addressing is reserved at boot as a hardware requirement. In order to reserve the memory locations for hardware memory it has to use part of its 4 gig limited addressing and specify it as hardware. once its out of addresses... no more memory can BE addresed, its just that simple.
If windows reserves 1 gig of address space for hard ware, it can not address more then 3 gigs of RAM. It is that simple.

Sign in process requires password...

I erased one of my external firewire drives and installed Yosemite. However during the process i was not paying close attention and set up the restart requiring a sign in with my password. I am the only person using my desktop iMac and find it most annoying to do a restart and walk away to do something or other leaving my computer do its thing and when i come back now i have to enter my password for the computer to complete the sign in. How do i change that?

System Preferences->Security->there should be an option to turn it on or off. I'm in Snow Leopard and don't remember the exact terminology. Alternatively, there should be the same option in the Users&Groups prefPane.

Can't open Photoshop CS5 I am required to accept the license agreement but still can't get in ...

I have had the Master Suite CS5 installed on my Macbook Pro for about 3 years now no problems , now it has started asking me to accept the Licence agreement when I try to open any of the applications (Photoshop / iD / Ai etc) .......
but when I click accept it just takes me back to the same window 'Accept / or not the License Agreement - basically going round in circles !! Meanwhile I ahve no access to the software !
I have tried re - installing to no avail ..... , LR 4 and Adobe Bridge still open fine no issues !!
I have carried out full updates of everything, done a system scan with MacKeeper, turned the computer fully off and back on ..... !
Any ideas/ suggestions would be welcome,

Hi Clare, I am having the same problems with my CS5 Design Premium! I got the graphics card replaced in my iMac and since then every time I try to open one of the programs, I get the licence agreement, click accept and it takes me back to the agreement again. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it which worked until I closed one of the programs, then the whole thing started again! If I leave the programs open after I use them it works which I am having to do until I get it sorted! I am just wondering if you managed to get yours working?

Photoshop Elements 12 system requirements

I'm thinking of buying Elements 12 but the system requirements for mac OSX is 10.7 or higher. I have mac OSX 10.6.8 so I shouldn't be able to use this version, should I?
I've downloaded the trial version and it's running fine but does that mean the full version will run just as well also?

You could also upgrade to mavericks 10.9 for free if your mac meets the necessary system requirements.

When I had pse 12 on snow leopard, I was able to update the camera raw plugin using Help>Updates, but only up to camera raw 8.3
(camera raw 8.5 is the most recent version for pse 12, but won't work on snow leopard)

Sign In now required often in IE9

Previous my sign in was remember each time I returned to the the Forum. However, lately I notice I am not signed in and session also can expire. I must sign in yet again. Check marking the remember the login does nothing to aleviate this problem. I don't know nor see any indication of a change on the site and have checked my IE9 settings which are fine. Other sites I visit are not affected only Lenovo.

You have not saved your user name and Password on your browser. Therefore save its user name and password then you will not find this problem again.

Why repeated sign in is required for lumia 710 to ...

Every time i need to sign in for downloading music on my lumia 710.Eventhough i sign in n searched the music again the log in window comes up to which repeated attempts go in vain as it doesnt accept the passwd.My id has unlimited music subscription fail to understand y this happens....Pls come up with solution

Welcome to the forum!
You can do the following steps:
1. Uninstall the Nokia Music application. Tap and hold the application > select Uninstall to remove it.
2. Switch off and on the phone.
3. Download the Nokia Music again from the Store or Marketplace.
4. Sign in to your Nokia account.
If it's still the same, check if there's an available update for the Nokia Music application. Go to Store or Marketplace > Nokia collection > select Nokia Music > check if there's an available update.

I have a problem with a previous purchase and sign in is required. However, the card is no longer in use and so no money can be billed from it. I need to add a new card so that the money can be taken from that card instead. It's from a different country

I have an Australian card associated with itunes and the App Store. However, I am no longer in Australia and I wish to change my country of residence and card to the UK/English. When I try to change country, it says there's a problem with a previous purchase, meaning I have no money on the Australian card and therefore the previous purchase cannot be billed.
The only way I can pay for the previous purchase is by adding an English card but it won't let me do this.
Does this mean I have to somehow put money on the old Australian card to pay for the previous purchase? Or is there a way I can transfer the bill to an English new card?

You are right, but how could i send it to Apple? when the phone company first replaced my iphone they had in stock alots of iphones and they just sent mine back to Apple and gave me a new one, so all i did is to give them my phone, but now how could i sent it to Apple? and i cant send it by myself, and the store wont do that, its a lost for them.. so sending it to Apple wasnt an option from the begining.
and for the record, i dont think the store where i bought it is an authorized shop.. its just a store who boughts phone's from Apple in a low price and sells it in much more money..
