Photoshop stopped downloading and would not resume. says connection problem but there is none. why?
why make software that does not work? tried to download photoshop 13 hours later at 55 % it paused and would not restart. then gave error code 109 says no connection but there is no problem and the hd is 1 tb and empty so whats the deal?

If you are getting an network timeout error try disabling your computer's security software during the downoad and update.

Without system info and other details nobody can know. If you haven't already, run the cleaner tool and try again. Anything more would require much more specific information.

Hi, I use facetime regularly with my parents who live outside US and it stopped working. Their ipad2 rings,says connecting..and then 'call failed'. Upgrading their iOS5 (or 6) is not a option as my parents do not know to do this. I came across forums where this issue is mentioned on apple support and cnet.
Is there another option apart from upgrading ?Well, in his defense, his parents bought him the player so I guess we can't blame him. Though the 6 GB versions were available in November so I guess they really did get 'nervous' about Christmas and like to get their shopping done early! Kudo's to you for trying to remain with the Creative line but for what you're looking for it's obviously not the player for you. Creative seems to be fine-tuning their line for the audio crowd. I'm into mp3 players for the audio. Sure, the ability to watch video's and look at pictures on a decent screen is a plus but for me at least, it's all about the music. And with music, 6 GB is more than enough. Heck, 8 GB would have been more than enough for me. I'm a subscriber to Napster-to-go, so I don't feel the need to carry 00 plus GB of stuff on my portable player. I honestly don't understand the desire to watch movies or TV shows on tiny little screens. But you're also talking to a guy who doesn't watch television. What a complete waste of time and brain cells. Probably the **competitor products we can't discuss here** or one of those players would better suit your needs. Companies are definately picking their niche markets carefully and Creative's decision to not offer hard dri've players any more seems to definately be saying bye-bye to that market. I can't say I blame them. Hard dri'ves eventually give up the ghost and are quite delicate for people on the go. Good ridance, I say. Let Apple, Zune and all the others cater to the Z generation's need to be spoonfed their video/TV addictions anywhere and everywhere. I'll pass. It's one thing to be able to enjoy some music on the go and enhance an otherwise dull work day or dri've. But movies/TV shows at work, school, or wherever? Please. Cut the cord! Just my $.02 - YMMV! I bought an album that also came with music videos. All the songs downloaded properly, but none of the videos. Next to them it said Stopped-Error 3150, I tried to restart the downloads and now most just say Stopped, some say Stopped-Error 8003, which means Network issues, but after checking, I found there are no issues with my network. Help?
I am having this same problem with my brand new Mac Pro. It seems to be tied to the computer awaking from sleep (no I am not leaving the iPod connected while sleep... I am referring to waking the computer from sleep and then connecting iPod as opposed to restarting the computer and then connecting the iPod). In other words, if you are getting this error message, try ejecting the iPod, restart your computer, then connect the iPod and see if the error message goes away. For me it does, but I only get one shot at it, if I eject the iPod and then reconnect it, the error message returns. This happens on both iPods I have. I have rebooted (hold menu-select) and gone to disc mode (hold select-play) and the error message remains. The only way it goes away is to reboot the computer, then I get one shot at hooking up an iPod.
I NEVER had nor get this error message when I connect to the Windows PC that I started with. Perhaps the iPod does not like moving from PC to Mac? -

My 1-year ipod nano locked up and would not start overnight. The on/off button will not work and stopped holding charge. No water damage, no fall, nothing unusual. I restored it (twice) but it will still not hold charge and on/off does not work. I tried to restore it again and charged it in three different locations with different cables. etc but nothing. Suggestions?
- After charging for 1/2 hour or so, does iTunes see the iPod? If yes, restore the iPod from backup.
- If no, se if placing the iPod in recovery mode will make it visible so you can restore the iPod. For recovery mode see:

Every time I try to download anything firefox stops responding and will not do anything until I restart it. Can I revert back to a previous version, or is there a fix for it? When I restart firefox, then the download continues and all is well until I try to download something new (which I do quite often).

I downloaded the latest iOS7 to my iPad and then the screen went blank and would not respond. I have tried pressing the two buttons together and briefly get the Apple logo but still can not restart, the logo disappears. I have tried connecting to my iMac to restore the iPad but the device does not show up (I have an old iMac). What else can I do?
You need to be running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 at the very least in order to sync your iPad with iTunes so you could update your Mac, if it can be updated, and if you care to do so.
If that's not an option, you will have to find someone that can restore the device for you with their computer running iTunes or make an appointment at an Apple Store and ask them to restore the device for you.
I hope that you have an iCloud backup, because you will lose everything on the device when it is restored.

Also, I would not give up on the reset technique....holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time until the Apple logo appears. It takes about 10-15 seconds and sometimes just a little longer to get the logo to appear. -
