Photoshop stopped downloading.

PhotoShop stopped downloading with an error 49 message. Hitting Retry in the Creative Cloud app did nothing. How do I fix this problem?

    why make software  that does not work? tried to download photoshop 13 hours later at 55 % it paused and would not restart. then gave error code 109 says no connection but there is no problem and the hd is 1 tb and empty so whats the deal?

    But make sure you follow the important instrctions on the page before initiating the download.

    I called Apple tech support.  The device turns out to be a WiFi extender.  I never would have guessed that the extender would show up on the list since I wouldn't think of it as an airplay device, and in the list, it shows a little speaker icon.  In the process of talking with Apple, I gained a greater understanding of how airplay works. 
    It turns out that there is no stored list of devices in a file on the mac, or anywhere else.  I have seen a lot of traffic on the web from people trying to modify this list, but there isn't one.  iTunes, and other devices simply poll the network for airplay devices from time to time.

    I would like to get rid of "just give me the aster, and stop wasting my time", and replace it with my name.  The Apple tech support guy never saw that before.  Just my luck.

    Wow, Karan Taneja, you've just embarrassed yourself on a worldwide support forum.  Not only is your post ridiculous and completely inappropriate for a technical support forum, but it also shows your ignorance as to whom you think the audience is.  Apple is not here.  It's users, like you. 
    If you would have spent half the time actually reading the Terms of Use of this forum that YOU agreed to by signing up to post, as you did composing that usesless, inappropriate post, you (and the rest of us on this forum) would have been much better off.

  • Photoshop CC download failed...

    Hi Adobe Help Team,
    I have ordered your special offer for Photoshop CC & PS Lightroom 5 today and tried to download PS CC via Creative Cloud (PS Lightroom 5 is already in use on my computer).
    The Creative Cloud applet says that Photoshop CC has been updated, but I cannot find any trace of Photoshop CC on my harddrive!
    I have switched to downloading Photoshop CS6 which worked just fine. Please help!

    I cannot reply directly on the forum page so here is how I solved it:
    OSX 10.9.1
    I used Adobe's Cleaner Tool to rid my machine of ALL previously installed Adobe products and started from scratch. Worked fine for me!

    I am having the same issue. Did you previously have it on your computer and then delete it? That is what I did....maybe that is the issue. I have no idea how to solve it though.

  • Photoshop CS3 download?

    I accidentaly uninstalled my Photoshop CS3 program through MacKeeper. I have my product key code for Photoshop CS3. I just need a download, so I can install it again and begin working again.

    I went to the site and when I clicked to download it directed me to a page that said, "the site you are trying to reach is not available." Would you know of any other place? If I download and use the trial, will my key number still work to allow me to use it beyond 30 days?

    You should always burn disks of the install files and store in safe place with s/n.  Try this site and burn a disk befoe install.

  • Can  a stopped download be resumed?

    I stopped downloading photoshop when the library closed, i didnt shut the computer,
    can I resume later? clicking on the download gives "FILE CANT BE OPEN because it is being downloaded

    If you are downloading with a browser then you should be able to open the *Download Window* and resume. Look either under tools or window in the tool bar Menu across the top.
    There you can click to resume in the download window.

    Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
    If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:

    That S/N does work.  I double checked.

  • Mail App stopped downloading new messages from Gmail

    I'm using MBP with OS X Lion.
    I've been using Mail App for my two Gmail accounts. I also use two different types of mail downloading systems (POP and IMAP) for them. For some reason, the speed of downloading new messages started slowing down a few weeks ago; however, I could still use it until today. Today, it seems like it is completely out.
    It just stopped downloading new messages completely.
    For the POP account, it says:
    There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “POP” or try again.
    The server returned the error: The connection to the server “pop.gmail.com” on port 995 timed out.
    For the IMAP account, it says:
    There may be a problem with the mail server or network. Verify the settings for account “IMAP” or try again.
    The server returned the error: The connection to the server “pop.gmail.com” on port 993 timed out.
    The weird part is that I can still send an email out of those accounts fine.
    I checked the settings for Gmail, and everything seemed just fine.
    I tried to re-do everything so deleted the IMAP account. Now it shows the message below:
    The Google IMAP server “imap.gmail.com” is not responding. Try checking the network connection, and that the server name is correct. Otherwise, the server might be temporarily unavailable. If you continue, you might not be able to receive messages.
    I tried Connection Doctor and it shows as below:
    I followed the suggestion by changing unchecking those boxes for SSL, but it didn't help either.
    I tried "Rebuild" under mail box menu bar but it also didn't do anything.
    Can anyone help me with this issue?

  • Fascinate Market all of a sudden stopped downloading apps - pls help

    I bought a Samsung Fascinate today. It never downloaded any apps.  I did a Master restart, and it started to download apps (about 4) - then it stopped downloading.  I click on "install," it says "application will download" and then it immediately says "download unsuccessful."
    I called customer service at Verizon three times - spoke to their tech guys - and they recommended getting a new phone.
    So, I went tonight and got a new phone. It was working great - downloading apps.
    Then all of a sudden, it stopped downloading apps and every time I try to download anything, it says "download unsuccessful."
    So it's not the phone, I gather.  I don't know what to do.  I'm so frustrated.
    Thanks for any and all help you can offer.  I really like the phone and don't want to get a different one, but I need to be able to download apps.  Clearly, customer service/tech support is worthless (they were Googling the problem to help me - I can do that!).

    Letstry some different steps to try to correct this problem. 
    First you would want to verify that you have the 3G coverage on the phone. 
    You can verify that information at the top, next to the signal bars.
    Then could I get you to do a soft rest on the device. 
    Press the Power key.
    Touch Power off.
    Touch OK.
    Press the Power key to power on the device.
    Then dial *228 send and option 1,  then dial *228 send and option 2.
    If you are attempting to download the same application, try downloading a different application to see if you get the same error message.  
    Then try this step:
    From the home screen, select Applications.
    Select development,
    Then allow 3rd party applications.  
    Finally  before downloading applications try stopping the applications that are running in the background.  
    From the home screen, select Applications.
    Select Running Services, Choose unnecessary applications and Force Stop.
