i want to install my photoshop 5.0 limited edition but the pc displays i should check if it is a 32 or 64 bit application. i changed my windows os from xp to win7 64 bit (i think that is the problem) how can i install and run my photoshop 5.0 le on this system?

Photoshop CS6 - problem displaying CMYK files in the project RGB

I have a problem in 64 bit Photoshop CS6 - a new file (RGB, 72 dpi, no color profiles, mode 8-bit) images I put smart objects (images, CMYK, 300 dpi, 8-bit mode) wanting to build a small presentation for the web. These images in CMYK in some places have black spots pixelowe mainly in places where there is a gradient, or green. When you export a file to jpg's no black spots.
In other applications, this problem does not exist. Restarted the program recording it again but the problem has not gone away. Photoshop settings are standard.
I'm working on Win Pro 7, a very good computer.
What do I do? Help me: (I am not entirely sure I understand you, but it sounds like it could be graphic card related... possibly at least. Could you post a screen-shot of how the problem looks?

I purchased photoshop elements and i am having all the problems in the world installing it.... first the link in the emails were errors and secondly i have downloaded and installed multiple times and it says my serial number from the email i received is incorrect.... please help

when ever i try to install photoshop cc on my laptop i keep getting this error "We've encountered the following issues installer failed to initialize. Please download adobe support advisor to detect the problem."
start at the top and work your way down applying applicable fixes until your problem is resolved.

if, your error is:
"Installer failed to initialize. File not found." or "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing files."
first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

I cannot get all the Flaming Pear plug-ins to work. I have dragged them into my Photoshop CS6 plug-ins folder but they do not show up under "filters". Also among the ones that do show up and that do work, I am having crashing problems. I chatted with Adobe (they do not answer their phone) and they said "You cannot use any plug-ins with Photoshop-uninstall them right away". When I said, "Then what's the use of Photoshop?" the guy ended my chat session!?!?!?!
Flaming Pear does not reply. What is the problem with the plug-ins?Kreplach,
Open CS6 > Preferences > Plug-ins
in the preferences menu > select plugins on the left column > and check the box additional plugins folder
choose > location of a plugins folder (make one or use the mounted volume of the dmg I downloaded from pear site)
You need to close Photoshop CS6 and reopen it for the plugin to load:

I receive Adobe updates on a regular basis without any problems. The other day, my Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 (Editor) function has suddenly stopped working. Windows cannot seem to solve the problem. I can open all the other function buttons without any problems just not the most important one which is the Editor Function. Has anyone experienced this situation and knows what to do?

trying to launch photoshop cs3 on a mac running OS10.6.8 i keep getting the error message: Licensing for this product has stopped working you cannot use this product at this time. Try to uninstall the software again and you have to manually
Delete the following folders:
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe PCD
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/caps
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/Adobe/backup
[Startup Disk]/Library/Preferences/FLEXnet Publisher/
[Startup Disk]/Library/Application Support/FLEXnet Publisher/
Go to Applications-->Utilities-->Disk Utility, Open it and Select the MAC HD and then click on Repair permissions.
After that try to run the cleaner tool as mentioned by kglad.
Restart machine and then try to install again.
*** Make sure , you only delete these folders if there is no other adobe applications installed on the machine. As if you have any other Adobe application of the suite ( not free applications ) then it will be a problem. -
I have set up iPhoto 11 so that pictures will be edited in Photoshop elements 11. I selected the option to edit in another application. But when I select edit in iPhoto, elements opens but the photo does not open in elements. I'm using a Macbook pro 15 inch with retina display with OS 10.8.4 What is the problem?

Merge to HDR Pro does not work in Photoshop 14.2.1. Image appears black. What is the problem?
Attached is screen shot. What happens is I go to File/Automate/Merge to HDR Pro, then select my 3 images, which are flattened psd files (I have tried tifs and jogs too), hit OK, it processes them, but instead of the image appearing, I get this black image. Problem with Photoshop Express IOS 8.02 - I recently installed IOS 8.02 on my iPad Air and Photoshop Express cannot access my full library of images. Also, when opening the app, I'm not given the option of selecting "Open from Adobe Revel", "Take a Picture" or "Open from Camera Roll".......I am taken directly to a small selection of images. The only images that show up are the saved photos previously adjusted through Photoshop Express. I also updated my iPhone 5s with IOS 8.02 and Photoshop Express works perfectly on the iPhone with all images in my library visible.
What could be the problem?Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think? -

I keep getting a message pop up the first time I open Photoshop CC for the day, "we sorry, we can't connect to adobe server at this time...I followed instructions to turn off my antivirus and firewall, then open it. But the problem still remains. What can be done?
