Photoshop to FCP ... help help!!
Ok...
So I've been making custom graphics for movies for some time. My normal protocol is to create (in PS CS2) save as a psd or sometimes a jpeg and import into FCP. Never had a problem.
today, I was "delighted" to see that the psd's are having a major flickering issue. Anyone know why that could be, or have a solution?
Any help would be great!

Is it the picture content, i.e. lots of very fine detail, in this particular image? That can cause terrible moiré in your image.

Hi Steadyalberta,
Something might be preventing Photoshop from being able to save your selection on the dialog window properly. You might try right clicking and choose Run as Administrator on the Photoshop icon when launching (Windows) or test if the behavior persists when using a newly created admin user account.

Hi, I am new on here so please excuse if this is posted in the wrong area, I have no idea where to post this.
I Have Photoshop CS6 Extended (on Windows 7 - 64bit).
But it does not open my .psd files, only if I run Photoshop CS6 and go File > Open > "and then open the file", it will open, but If I go to the file it self it does not recognize CS6 as the default program or to open it. It tells me it cannot find a program to open the .psd file with. I have tried several times to set the Default Program but it is not even there and if I click on "browse" to find Photoshop and click "open" it does not open or show Photoshop in the Default Programs.
Now I accidently clicked on coreldraw and I don't want my .psd files opening with coreldraw! because I hardly use coreldraw, I only needed it for my studies...
When I had CS5 it worked and opened fine, with CS6 the .psd files just don't find Photoshop.
Can anyone help me please, how can I fix this so that my .psd files get recognized?

Thanks.You can either uninstall and run Adobe script cleaner and then reinstall CS6 or do a registry change.

J3liu1 I would recommend reviewing the installation log files for the specific error message which you are facing. You can find details on how to locate an interpret your installation log files at Troubleshoot installation with install logs | CS3, CS4. You are welcome to post any specific errors you discover to this discussion.

Help help please... I'm running Photoshop CS, on a Windows XP machine. After re-booting the machine after an unexpected power failure I have been told that the "Configuration appears to have changed since the time this product was activated. To continue using this product I must re-activate it". BUT the activation link informs me that they no longer support the product (neither online nor telephonically). So how can I re-activate this software?

As you said above, yes, I did find OC4J config issue & EM Config issue and resolved them. But still I couldn't get my DBConsole started.
Yes, I was able to drop DBConsole<sid> service using 'emca' repository drop. But, when I started recreating repository for DBConsole service, I wasn't able to do it. I tried several times but in vain.

I can't see the Audio Waveforms in the timeline. No triangle button to click. Just switched from FCP. Help!
When I click on the wrench or right click to customize the box, these are the options I'm given. I don't see waveform. I've edited in Adobe Audition for years, and see the waveform panels in all the Premiere Pro tutorials, am I missing something? (besides a brain?)

I am pulling my hair out! I am using adobe indesign and just want to make a text box 'autofit text' as I change fonts a lot and want the font to automatically re-size as I change it.
Is it not possible to create a text box, fill it with dynamic (data driven) text, but make the font size either scale up or down automatically, so that the entire text box is filled? This is a feature in PrintShop Mail Pro called COPY FIT. but no such feature in Indesign??

Apparently .CSV files cannot contain page breaks in the data! The data I am trying to merge is a 'letter', with paragraphs, line breaks, etc.,
But, after data merging, it ignores page breaks and only merges the first paragraph of each letter. (sigh)
Solution? Hopefully, an EASY solution. lol as we have thousands of records.
Is there a third party indesign plugin that will allow .xml, or .xls data merge import??

I just deleted a note from the Notes App form my ipad3. I don't use iCloud. The only place this note was is my iPod and iPad. Is there any possible way to recover this note?????
Thanks in advanceThank you sberman, yes the first thing I did was check my iPod. Instant synching works great between the iPad and iPod, so it was deleted there as well. On both devices I have my Notes account to the same account.
I ashamedly have not synched to iTunes for ages. After I calmed down I realized that most of the info on that deleted Note I had copied and pasted from an excel file in November. I'm in the process of doing that again, and am only out the recent info. -

Help,Help,Help...I don`t remeber what updates but it stopped playing some songs that wre playing before...AC/DC Back in Black was transfered from original CD to iTunes and all songs were playing fine until I installed a new OS (4.0something,do not remebr exactly the one).Now,all the back in black songs are not playing.I tried to re-imported them,still are not playing on the iPod.
I also have other songs from different artist that are not playing on iPod...
Please help...I need my AC/DC back

HELP HELP HELP! Hidden midi track or something!
Hey okay, so here's my STUPID dilemma. I'm so stuck.
Im in the process of working on Putting all 6 of my songs into one big project file, this way all the settings, tracks, eq's everything are perfectly the same from song to song so my mastering process can be more universal.
ANYWAY.
Upon dragging and dropping one of the songs into my main project. (from one open project to another open project)
Apparently the drum track (which is one midi track) from the third song... is now like EMBEDDED, hidden about midway through song 2.
So when I'm playing the whole thing, it goes nicely through song 1, nicely through about half of song2... then the drum track from song 3 pops in randomly ONTOP OF EVERYTHING ELSE.
the thing is... theres NO SIGN OF IT ANYWHERE. I cannot find the track. Its not on a hidden track. Its just like secretly embedded into the project. I've even DELETED the midi thats SUPPOSED to be playing at that time. And it still just playyyyyyyyyys and plays this stupid track.
Does anyone possibly have any ideas?
I cant find it in the bin, because it doesnt store MIDI tracks there. is there a bin for all the midi info? That could work if it appears.
Otherwise is there a secret way to like, Show any hidden info or anything?

It might be worth taking a look at the Mixer layer in the Environment to see if you can track down which Instrument Channel is playing?<edit> Could be an Ultrabeat with the Sequencer on?

I just bought a new cd burner today, it burned 1 cd fine but now when i click "burn" itunes freezes. Itunes also freezes when i try to get to the burning settings to fool with the speed. Any suggestions?
