  • Student creative cloud and the photoshop touch app?

So I have recently signed up to the student creative cloud package and listed in this is the photoshop touch app however when I try download this it is trying to charge me £6.99 what do I do?

    Hi Kerryann95,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
You have purchased Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition, it is for desktop usage.
The touch app are required to be purchased separately .
    Hope the information helps you.
    Kind Regards,

  • Download the adobe photoshop touch app

I am a creative cloud member and have a lot of mobile apps. But I cannot find the adobe photoshop touch app
where can I download this app.

Photoshop Touch should be available in both Apple's App Store/iTunes (if you're using an Apple tablet) and Google Play (if you're using an Android tablet) online marketplaces.
Be aware that PS Touch is a separate purchase; it's not free even if you're a Creative Cloud subscriber like you and I are. It's always been that way.

  • Windows 8 photoshop touch app?

Will there be windows 8 photoshop touch app?
many tablet pcs running windows 8 are quite small making the icons hard to see in the desktop version.
It would be great to have full photoshop cc work with touch screen support too, (maybe resizeable icons and custom workspaces would be useful and easy to impliment into the program)
Thanks for reading! looking forward to a response

Not sure if a Windows 8 version is in the works. (It would kind of defeat the purpose considering Photoshop CC can be loaded on a Windows 8 tablet.)
"Full Photoshop CC" is kind of redundant, since Photoshop CC is the bee knees version of Photoshop.    <jk> with you. I can see where you're coming from as far as icon sizes go because they're small on my 23" monitor. I can imagine what they look like on a 10" tablet or smaller.

  • I bought the photoshop touch app for my phone. Why can't I get it on my iPad also?

I bought the photoshop touch app for my phone. Why can't I get it on my iPad also?

There are two different versions of PS Touch that, even though they are similar in function, serve different form factors. One is for tablet (landscape orientation) and one is for phone (portrait).
I guess one could argue why Adobe didn't make it so that orientation didn't matter and would adjust accordingly (a la SketchBook Pro) but you'd have to ask the developers that.

  • Does the photoshop touch app allow chroma keying

i was wondering if I could chroma key pictures using this app? Are there options to choose color and do layering?

Yes, a 3G iPod can go to 5.1.1. However, many users who think thay have a 3G actually have a 2G. A 2G can only go to 4.2.1
    Identifying iPod models
    iPod touch (3rd generation)
iPod touch (3rd generation) features a 3.5-inch (diagonal) widescreen multi-touch display and 32 GB or 64 GB flash drive. You can browse the web with Safari and watch YouTube videos with Wi-Fi. You can also search, preview, and buy songs from the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store on iPod touch.
The iPod touch (3rd generation) can be distinguished from iPod touch (2nd generation) by looking at the back of the device. In the text below the engraving, look for the model number. iPod touch (2nd generation) is model A1288, and iPod touch (3rd generation) is model A1318.
To update to 5.1.1 if you have a 3G the computer needs iTunes 10.5 or later.

  • The photoshop touch app keeps crashing

The app keeps crashing as soon as it opens. I was in the middle of using it then it crashed and I haven't been able to get it to open since. Now creative cloud won't open or PS express. I have deleted and reinstalled app and turned phone off but it is still doing the same thing.

  • Can't launch Photoshop Touch app

app suddenly down while editing then tried to relaunch but never work.
it seems the app tried to open the latest file which was the trigger of the trouble as showing the progress square icon running but never open the workspace screen.
even once killed from the task tray, the result would be the same.
how can I do for it ?
    Ver 1.3.7 (latest), iPhone 5s

You launch the program from the start menu, not the CC app.

  • Why doesn't my iPad app for Photoshop Touch work?

Why doesn't my PhotoShop Touch app work for my iPad mini? This happens a lot and when I do finally get in, it's erased my photo that I was working on.

Hi can you please give us some more information about what you mean.
Can you start the application? Can you edit photos with it?
Does the application crash a lot while editing?
Have you tried to restart the device? How many applications do you have running in the background?
    Thanks,
    Ignacio

  • I am member of creative cloud, so how to install Photoshop touch on iOS iPad 4 & not pay $9.99?

I am a new member of the creative cloud and I have had no issues installing the creative cloud applications on my desktop (mac and PC), however my question regards installing the Photoshop touch app on the iOS iPad 4 device without having to pony up the $9.99 iTunes app fee.
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/adobe-photoshop-touch/id495716481?ls=1&mt=8
The above URL is the path that the Adobe website provides to download the app, and I can successfully access via iOS iPad 4. However it appears that I need to purchase the app for $9.99. It is not clear how I can use my yearly creative cloud membership to avoid paying the app fee.
Please advise if I am not looking in the correct place, or if I need to login via my Adobe ID to bypass this iTunes cost.
I could not locate an installation guideline on the Adobe website, so please advise.
    Ken R. of New Jersey.

    Yup, clear now.
I do like Adobe apps, but the price tends to be on the high side. I am a bit disapointed that the touch are not available via the cloud subscription, so I will stick with the desktop versions instead as they are more robust anyway.
I see that Adobe has removed this statement under the plans, when the link is clicked, so I am certain I will not be the only person to be confused regarding what is included.
Thanks for the follow-up, this was very helpful.

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch is not working properly on my Samsung Tablet

I just recently downloaded the Photoshop Touch App to my Samsung Tablet.  The program will open and some of the tools will work, but MOST tools will not!  I have attempted to clear the cashe, uninstall, and then reinstall the program.  The problem persists.  When will Adobe provide an update with repairs so that I can actually use the App I just bought?

    Dear Guido.
We have followed instructions to uninstall and and then reinstall the Photoshop Touch program onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
It is still not working properly.
NONE of the Fx's are working.  (about 26 effects!)
The Fx's under the menu headings of... "Basic" , "Stylize" , "Artistic", or "Photo" do not work!
Under the heading of "Adjustments"... only Invert, and Black and White work... NONE of the others do!
The items that do work are... the Camera Layers, Layers and Selections, Image Blending, and the Basic FX called Gaussian Blur.
Croping image size, text, etc. under the & symbol also work.
So, as you can see....at this point we have purchased an App that is practically USELESS even tho the Google Play Store said that it was compatible with our device.
Please Advise, or Create a proper Update for this device,
    Thank you

  • How can you get Adobe Photoshop Touch to open on an Android 4.1 Jellybean RCA Tablet

I am trying to help a friend of mine.  Silverday posted " I successfully purchased, downloaded Photoshop touch on my android jellybean 4.1 RCA tablet, but it freezes every time at the start up screen! How do I fix this so I can actually use Photoshop? I have tried un/installing, force stop, turning on and off my tablet....nothing seems to be working! My android fits the requirements, so why isn't this working?!"  Has anybody run across this situation.  I am very computer literate but am not familiar with the Photoshop Touch app.   Thanks...

How much storage do you have left on that 64GB SSD? 4GB ram is fairly comfortable (if you're doing absolutely nothing else) while using Flash. The paired down tablet specs are most certainly crimping the performance.
You have to know apps like Photoshop may let you brush but the application is primarily a bitmap engine which operates at memory speed and certainly has no overhead from being a multimedia, scriptable IDE. As you pile up dozens of layers, especially with vectors and filters, Photoshop will also start to lag just the same.
You have to keep in mind, you really have a tablet. The i5 1.6GHz is not a normal i5, it's a mobile i5 product. I have an i5 quad also (2500k), but the desktop model (Sandy/Ivy) runs at 3.7GHz in turbo, and that's an old model (Sandy). Also the desktop i5 has Intel HD4000 graphics which is extremely slow (outside simple video playback) and your i5 is even slower, only Intel HD3000 graphics. Clearly there's a big difference and you should expect tablet performance.
Just about the only thing you can do to increase performance, especially in a vector heavy app, is reduce any other things going on. Slim out your OS as best you can, removing any unnecessary apps or services running. Update all your drivers and if you're not using WHQL drivers for the HD3000 on your display driver you should revert back to Win7 for fully supported drivers (which is the version of Windows I think the Slate originally came with). Unless something is corrupt or no WHQL driver support exists for HD3000, I don't see what else it can be besides perhaps no WHQL support for your input driver either.
I'm on a 5 year old Dell touchscreen laptop at a higher resolution (1600x900) running an old i7 @ 1.6GHz quad (similar to yours) with 4GB DDR2 (slower) and Flash runs perfectly fine. Although I'm not running Intel HD graphics. I'm running it on a discreet ATI Mobility Radeon HD.

  • Adobe photoshop touch for iPad 1?

I'm a iPad 1 user and I really want to edit pictures on iPad I waited and I see the adobe photoshop touch app, it's for iPad 2 only

Photoshop Touch for the iPad specifically states - iPad 2 only.... so no Touch solution for you...
What sort of things are you trying to accomplish with your iPad 1 ?
If you are looking for basic adjustments, sharpening, cropping, etc., and some minor effects & frames then you could always give Photoshop Express a try... In other software you could do a lot worse than programs like Nik's Snapseed or Filterstorm Pro... I use both of these apps but PST is now offering me options that neither of them has - plus some continuity with OS native Photoshop itself...
None of those other programs offers you a "layers" option so if that is your need then I see a new iPad in your future....
Even if you could make it run PST I think your iPad 1's processor and ram would choke pretty hard as soon as you tried to stack a few layers...
Hope that helps - even though it's not the news you were looking for...
