Photoshop touch for nexus 6?

Is there going to be a release for nexus 6

Neither versions of the .apk (phone or tablet) appear in the Play store -- and when manually locating the packages in Google Play I see that the Nexus 6 device is unsupported, which I'm sure is unintentional.  (See screenshots)
Comparing the AndroidManifest.xml file in both versions against the one in PS Express (which does allow install from Play Store), it seems apparent that the screenSize and/or screenDensity qualifiers are the culprits to blame...

Any idea when a release might happen?

I talked with John Nack via email from Adobe Blogs: http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack
Apparently Photoshop touch works in Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwhich, there is no reason (that anyone can give me) that Photoshop Touch or any of the other Adobe Touch Apps shouldn't work in Nexus7. I feel that Nexus7 actually should be perfect for them given the RAM and NVIDIA Graphics, not to mention the processing power.
I actually cover my thoughts concerning how the Google Nexus 7 will effect the design landscape in general here:
    http://robertoblake.com/blog/2012/07/google-nexus-7-will-change-graphic-design/
With the sellout rate Google has currently for these tablets theire can be no doubt that it will be supported, Furthermore with Apple set to deliver and iPad mini before the holidays, you can bet that Adobe is hard at work enhancing an update for these apps to fit the 7inch platform.

  • Can I open a CS6 Photoshop file in Adobe Photoshop Touch for Phone?

I am trying to rountrip a ps file to/from Adobe Photoshop Touch for Phone to/from CS6 Photoshop on a mac. Is it possible? It seems (so far) I can create a .psdx on the phone and edit on my desktop, but once editing in CS6 PS, I can't get that file back on the phone for editing. Any ideas... or is it a one way street from phone to desktop right now? thx!!!

    Hi there,
In general, the .psd format is fairly backwards compatible. To help get your files ready to be opened in CS3, follow this process:
    1) Go to Photoshop > Preferences > File Handling.
    2) In the menu, make sure Maximize PSD and PSB File Compatibility is set to always.
Just in case, you may also want to save your file as a .TIFF, which is a format that will also preserve your layers and is able to be opened in older versions.
Please let us know if you need any more information, and good luck with your project!

  • Adobe photoshop touch for iPad 1?

I'm a iPad 1 user and I really want to edit pictures on iPad I waited and I see the adobe photoshop touch app, it's for iPad 2 only

Photoshop Touch for the iPad specifically states - iPad 2 only.... so no Touch solution for you...
What sort of things are you trying to accomplish with your iPad 1 ?
If you are looking for basic adjustments, sharpening, cropping, etc., and some minor effects & frames then you could always give Photoshop Express a try... In other software you could do a lot worse than programs like Nik's Snapseed or Filterstorm Pro... I use both of these apps but PST is now offering me options that neither of them has - plus some continuity with OS native Photoshop itself...
None of those other programs offers you a "layers" option so if that is your need then I see a new iPad in your future....
Even if you could make it run PST I think your iPad 1's processor and ram would choke pretty hard as soon as you tried to stack a few layers...
Hope that helps - even though it's not the news you were looking for...

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet

Does Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet support raw-files?

No, not at this time, sorry. (Be aware that even if it did, I wouldn't expect you'd get to work with many layers due to the hardware limitations of tablets. You can only work with 12 layers max as it is. Just a heads up.) JPEG, PNG, GIF, PSD, & PSDX are supported.

Just got an e mail to say that my Apple ID was just used to download photoshop touch for phone for 2.99 from the App Store with a receipt number. Is this a scam for me to give my Apple ID?

No but there's a link to reset your password. Etc etc..
This is the email I got.
"Your Apple ID was just used to download Photoshop Touch for phone £2.99 from the App Store on a computer or device that had not previously been associated with that Apple ID.
If you initiated this download, you can disregard this email. It was only sent to alert you in case you did not initiate the download yourself.
If you did not initiate this download, we recommend that you go to iforgot.apple.com to change your password, then see Apple ID: Tips for protecting the security of your account for further assistance.

  • Adobe Ideas and Photoshop Touch for iOS 7 iPhone 5s

I've been attempting to open the designs I create on Adobe Ideas onto my Photoshop Touch for editing. Is this possible? If not, then what should I do? I'm a novice to all of this.

Wish I could help offhand but I'm on Android (which doesn't have Ideas anymore). Ideas produces vector files, no? Someone at the App Store site mentioned you can open the files produced in Ideas in something like SketchBook Pro (which can, in turn, produce raster file formats like PNG, JPEG and PSD).

  • Do I need adobe CC subscription for using photoshop touch for ipad

Do I need adobe CC subscription for using photoshop touch for ipad?

No, Photoshop Touch is a different software and isn't part of Adobe's Creative Cloud (CC) series of software you can get with their monthly subscription.
Photoshop Touch is a mobile version of Photoshop you can get for just $9.99, and then you'll have it for life.
It's a great, must-have tool in my opinion, but it's very limited and won't give you all the things you would get with a regular Photoshop desktop-version, like the one you get when you subscribe to Creative Cloud.
    Best,

  • Photoshop Touch for phone ... LG 4X HD not import images

    Hello
I bought Photoshop Touch for phone ... on your LG 4X HD does not work import images from the gallery. The program crashes - black screen.

I am using the scribble selection tool to isolate a a person in a photo.  Then I inverse the selection and desaturate - and I have tried just using the black and white adjustment - the rest of the photo. The problem comes when I inverse back to the person and try to adjust the selection. I can usually do one adjustment,  then it crashes on the second adjustment.  It has crashed everyone I have tried a this with different images and after resetting my phone
My ram was about a gb when this last happened.  I am using a galaxy note 2.

  • Photoshop Touch for phones crashes when I import an image - Android

I bought Adobe Photoshop Touch for phone for Android. I've an HTC One X Tegra.
When I import an image from camera or from gallery, it crashes while the loading action. So I can't use it...
I tried to reboot my smartphone but the problem remains.
I've got a refound but I'd like to buy again and have it working. Any advice?
    Thank you.

    Hi,
it would be good to know what image you are trying to import, e.g. dimensions and file type.
Normally when these kind of issues occur we advise the users to restart the device and that can sometimes help.
If that doesn't help we normally need to get some more information from the user.
If you do run into this issue: please run "adb bugreport" from the terminal and send me the log as a private message.
At the moment it looks like the devices have very little available RAM which means that the system is exhausted.
A workaround that normally helps is to restart the device - although not in all cases it seems. The reasons for this can be many
everything from not having done the root/ROM install correctly to some kind of memory limiting application.
    thanks,
    Ignacio

  • Photoshop touch for android tablet

Can you use photoshop touch for android tablet on two tablets ?

What gruele said; you have to sign in with the Google account that the app was bought on to install and use PS Touch.

  • *Requires separate purchase of Photoshop Touch for tablet????

The app on Google Play states the following:
"*Requires separate purchase of Photoshop Touch for tablet."
    1. Does this mean I also have to purchase Photoshop Touch for tablet to use this on my Note2?
    2. OR is this just poorly worded, and it means you have to purchase it separately if you want to use it on a tablet?
    Thanks.

You have to purchase the app separately if you want to use it on a tablet. The "Photoshop Touch for phone" would be the correct one for the Note2

  • How do I design my posters on Photoshop touch for ipad, to be A0 and export them to creative cloud at the same size???

How do I design my posters on Photoshop touch for ipad, to be A0 and export them to creative cloud at the same size???
every time I do it it comes out at a fraction of the size and not even an A size...
    Please help

A0 is pretty big if you go at a high DPI for printing. It's about 10000 x 14000 pixels at 300 DPI.
PS Touch can handle about 12 Megapixel image imports (which is about 4000 x 3000 pixels). PS Touch, interestingly, can create 4096 x 4096 pixel projects from scratch.
Adding to that, PS Touch always exports at 72 DPI. Take note that this is probably due to tablet hardware. Tablet hardware is "getting there" but it still has a ways to go before it matches its desktop cousin.

  • Where do I find manuals for photoshop touch for ipad (not video tutorial)?

Where do I find manuals for photoshop touch for ipad (not video tutorials)?

The best way to get quickly acquainted with PS Touch is to do the built-in tutorials. There was a "quick start guide" of sorts, but as far as I know, they haven't updated it to reflect the latest version as of yet.
