Photoshop Touch on XYBOARD Tablet

I just downloaded Photoshop Touch and was excited to start using it and all I can get it to do is flicker my screen and freeze the program.  I am able to exit the program and use other things on the tablet without a problem.   I have the 10.1 16GB Motorola XYBOARD tablet.

Sorry to get back late but what you can do to add a second layer is to first make sure Adobe is not open then goto the Android gallery select a photo than click on edit photo you should see programs that allow for photo editing select PS from the list,, Touch should open ,,, from here just use the the select pixel tools to,,, select  the entire photo or just small section of the photo then hit  the menu and click on copy ,,,once complete just exit touch , then open the Adobe Touch app back up select the photo your working  this should already be  listed on the screen  once the photo opens  just add a second layer then click on the menu and the paste should be highlighted,,, click on it and the photo should paste into the second layer...
Thanks

Can you use photoshop touch for android tablet on two tablets ?

What gruele said; you have to sign in with the Google account that the app was bought on to install and use PS Touch.

  • How do i install cc photoshop touch onto my tablet

i just purchased a surface rt and i want to install cc photoshop touch onto it (i already own creative cloud) and when i sign in to creative cloud and try to download PS for andriod it just brings me to the store to purchase photoshop touch even though i already own it with CC

Try Downloading the direct CC installer from this link. First carefully read the download instructions and follow or you'll get access denied. You may just have a bad download.

  • Does Photoshop Touch for Android Tablet incorporate a polarizer filter function?

As the title implies:  does the Photoshop Touch for Android have a polarizer filter function?

No, Photoshop Touch does not offer a polarizer filter function.
However you may just search the internet for "photoshop polarizer filter"

  • Photoshop Touch (Tablet)

I'm using Photoshop Touch on a tablet.
It won't allow me to add any of the pictures I have on the device cause it's not recognizing the media.
Last time I used it a couple months ago, everything worked fine.
How do I fix this issue?

If you're talking the Nexus 7 2013, you're talking about one of the best tablets of its class. The 2012 model isn't too shabby either. Both models can handle PS Touch just fine. (I have a 2013.)
You can certainly export PS Touch projects as PSD files for use in Photoshop. (You'll have to get to know PS Touch's file browser but it's pretty easy.) I would suggest having an account with a service like Dropbox. That way, you can export Photoshop-compatible PSD files directly to your Dropbox account (or similar service) from within PS Touch. Remember that you can bring PSD files back into PS Touch but any layers contained therein *will* be flattened. (I imagine this was done as a failsafe measure; tablets aren't exactly desktops right now. I forgot the exact number but I l believe the layers allowed in PS Touch is 12.)
You don't have to pay for Creative Cloud per se; they'll give you a 2 GB storage account for free. Albeit not a whole lot of space, you can use this space to upload anything and import it into PS Touch without storing it on the tablet. You can also use this space to backup your PS Touch projects in the event of a tablet reset/wipe (which I would suggest as there's no other way to get them back save for exporting as PSDX files).
Remember that PS Touch, though its similar to its desktop cousin Photoshop (or even Photoshop Elements), is a bit of a different animal. There are many elements within PS Touch that exist in Photoshop but are done a bit differently in PS Touch.
Think of PS Touch as more of an extension or companion of Photoshop rather than as a replacement. It's perfect for on-the-go projects when inspiration strikes and you're not at your desktop computer.
ON EDIT: Oh, I forgot to add: 16 GB should be plenty enough space; I have the 16 GB model of the Nexus 7 and, quite frankly, my music collection takes up more space right now than my PS Touch projects do.

  • Can i upload photos to the adobe creative cloud so i can access them in photoshop touch?

using photoshop touch on my android tablet (motorola xoom), i can't seem to directly access photos located in various folders on the tablet, on my pc, or on my mac.  if i upload photos to the adobe creative cloud, can i then bring them from the creative cloud into photoshop touch on the tablet?  if so, how do i upload photos to the creative cloud?  thanks.

thanks, dave ... your demo is what I needed ... much appreciated.
however, if i try to upload to the creative cloud using a motorola xoom,
there seems to be a very limited number of folder/file choices/locations
from which i can perform the upload, whereas if i attempt the same action
by accessing the creative cloud site via a pc browser, i seem to have
access to all of the pc's folders & files.
specifically, if i attempt to upload from the xoom, here are the choices
    provided ...
    - Camera
    - Camcorder
    - Sound Recorder
    - ASTRO
    - Bluetooth File Transfer
    - ES File Explorer
    - Gallery
    - QuickPic
    - Select music track
... of course some of these are android apps i've installed onto the xoom
... but are you aware of any reasons for this limitation, and whether this
set of choices can be modified (either via photoshop touch or the creative
cloud or the xoom)? for example, i use dropbox on all my devices (pc, mac,
droid, & xoom), & it's my preferred location for many pics ... i'd like to
be able to upload from dropbox to the creative cloud using photoshop touch
on the xoom ... do you know whether this is possible, and if so, how to do
    so?
    again, many thanks!

  • Can I use Photoshop Touch on GoClever TAB T76GPSTV 7"

I want to buy a Adobe Photoshop Touch for my tablet GoClever TAB T76GPSTV 7" . Will it work? Please help!

I want to say no, based upon the specs for the GoClever versus the specs for PS Touch for Android. (Click the links to compare.) Still, you could give it a shot; just be sure to make the refund window in Google Play (which is 15 minutes after download begins). There's also PS Touch for smartphones, which apparently doesn't have the resolution limitation.

  • Photoshop Touch seems corrupted on ICS Motorola XYBOARD 8.2: Bad Screen Flicker

    Hi Adobe,
I've checked all the other Adobe apps after receiving a new tablet after a theft and reinstalling all my apps. Photoshop Touch, updated in Sept. 2012, which I've uninstalled and reinstalled again, acts very strange; as soon as you try and load a project or import a file from a local folder the screen starts flickering badly and you basically are unable to choose a file from either the local disk, Creative Cloud, Google, etc. If you start a new project the flicker does go away, but if you try again to import an image, the same thing happens, which basically, for now at least, renders Photoshop Touch for me at least, unusable.
I was kind of expecting to see other people posting about this but haven't seen it which might indicate it's specific to this tablet, which would be really sad.
Anyway, if someone could comment on whether they've heard of this elsewhere or not, and if so, whether there might be a potential fix at some point, I'd appreciate it. Again my other Touch apps, Ideas, Kuler and Collage have no problems like this.
    Best,
    Mark

    Hi Mark,
there are other users that have reported the same issue in other threads in the forum.

It seems to be a Xyboard/Xoom2 only issue at the moment.
We are working on finding a solution for this problem.
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch is not working properly on my Samsung Tablet

I just recently downloaded the Photoshop Touch App to my Samsung Tablet.  The program will open and some of the tools will work, but MOST tools will not!  I have attempted to clear the cashe, uninstall, and then reinstall the program.  The problem persists.  When will Adobe provide an update with repairs so that I can actually use the App I just bought?

    Dear Guido.
We have followed instructions to uninstall and and then reinstall the Photoshop Touch program onto the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3.
It is still not working properly.
NONE of the Fx's are working.  (about 26 effects!)
The Fx's under the menu headings of... "Basic" , "Stylize" , "Artistic", or "Photo" do not work!
Under the heading of "Adjustments"... only Invert, and Black and White work... NONE of the others do!
The items that do work are... the Camera Layers, Layers and Selections, Image Blending, and the Basic FX called Gaussian Blur.
Croping image size, text, etc. under the & symbol also work.
So, as you can see....at this point we have purchased an App that is practically USELESS even tho the Google Play Store said that it was compatible with our device.
Please Advise, or Create a proper Update for this device,
    Thank you

  • How can you get Adobe Photoshop Touch to open on an Android 4.1 Jellybean RCA Tablet

I am trying to help a friend of mine.  Silverday posted " I successfully purchased, downloaded Photoshop touch on my android jellybean 4.1 RCA tablet, but it freezes every time at the start up screen! How do I fix this so I can actually use Photoshop? I have tried un/installing, force stop, turning on and off my tablet....nothing seems to be working! My android fits the requirements, so why isn't this working?!"  Has anybody run across this situation.  I am very computer literate but am not familiar with the Photoshop Touch app.   Thanks...

How much storage do you have left on that 64GB SSD? 4GB ram is fairly comfortable (if you're doing absolutely nothing else) while using Flash. The paired down tablet specs are most certainly crimping the performance.
You have to know apps like Photoshop may let you brush but the application is primarily a bitmap engine which operates at memory speed and certainly has no overhead from being a multimedia, scriptable IDE. As you pile up dozens of layers, especially with vectors and filters, Photoshop will also start to lag just the same.
You have to keep in mind, you really have a tablet. The i5 1.6GHz is not a normal i5, it's a mobile i5 product. I have an i5 quad also (2500k), but the desktop model (Sandy/Ivy) runs at 3.7GHz in turbo, and that's an old model (Sandy). Also the desktop i5 has Intel HD4000 graphics which is extremely slow (outside simple video playback) and your i5 is even slower, only Intel HD3000 graphics. Clearly there's a big difference and you should expect tablet performance.
Just about the only thing you can do to increase performance, especially in a vector heavy app, is reduce any other things going on. Slim out your OS as best you can, removing any unnecessary apps or services running. Update all your drivers and if you're not using WHQL drivers for the HD3000 on your display driver you should revert back to Win7 for fully supported drivers (which is the version of Windows I think the Slate originally came with). Unless something is corrupt or no WHQL driver support exists for HD3000, I don't see what else it can be besides perhaps no WHQL support for your input driver either.
I'm on a 5 year old Dell touchscreen laptop at a higher resolution (1600x900) running an old i7 @ 1.6GHz quad (similar to yours) with 4GB DDR2 (slower) and Flash runs perfectly fine. Although I'm not running Intel HD graphics. I'm running it on a discreet ATI Mobility Radeon HD.

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet

Does Adobe Photoshop Touch for tablet support raw-files?

No, not at this time, sorry. (Be aware that even if it did, I wouldn't expect you'd get to work with many layers due to the hardware limitations of tablets. You can only work with 12 layers max as it is. Just a heads up.) JPEG, PNG, GIF, PSD, & PSDX are supported.

  • Why won't photoshop touch 1.4.1 open on the archos 97 carbon tablet?

I can't get photoshop touch 1.4.1 to open on my archos 97 carbon tablet - can anyone help with this please? I have tried downloading it several times - most of the time it just goes to a black screen. Google play listed it as compatable with the archos 97 carbon and there is enough memory available so i can't figure out what the problem is.

    Hi Guido,
We have tried to upload photoshop through the computer, but the result is just the same. It seems to download o.k. with the icon appearing in with the other icons. When selected it pulls up the photoshop logo screen after about 6 seconds, (but only on the first attempt, after that you have to clear the data for it to do even this.) It then pulls up 'end user accept/decline'. When you touch the accept button it displays 'help us improve our products' and at the bottom of the page and a double image of the license/online privacy allow/don't allow also appears. When you touch to accept 'help us improve our products' the 'begin a tutorial /project' appears. When you touch either of these the screen goes black and stays black.
Hope this helps you sort it out

  • Is Photoshop Touch compatible with d2 Android tablet?

I have Android version 4.1.1 but when I go to the app store it says photoshop touch is not compatible with my tablet.  My tablet is a d2 9'' tablet.  I can't find out why it is not compatible.

Unfortunately such a low screen resolution of 800x480 pixels is not suitable for PS Touch on tablet.
    I am sorry!

  • *Requires separate purchase of Photoshop Touch for tablet????

The app on Google Play states the following:
"*Requires separate purchase of Photoshop Touch for tablet."
    1. Does this mean I also have to purchase Photoshop Touch for tablet to use this on my Note2?
    2. OR is this just poorly worded, and it means you have to purchase it separately if you want to use it on a tablet?
    Thanks.

You have to purchase the app separately if you want to use it on a tablet. The "Photoshop Touch for phone" would be the correct one for the Note2

  • How do I unfreeze Photoshop touch on my android tablet?

I successfully purchased, downloaded Photoshop touch for my android jellybean 4.1 RCA tablet and Photoshop keeps freezing at the start up screen. How do I fix this problem so I can use Photoshop? There is no reason why it shouldn't work since my tablet fits the requirements. I have tried un/installing, force stopping, turning on and off my tablet...nothing is working! I really want to use Photoshop! How do I fix this?!

You really can't get it fixed unless Adobe decides to lower the minimum screen resolution.
I would keep it, though; if you ever decide to upgrade to another tablet, PS Touch will be there (provided you bought it off of Google Play).
