Photoshop Touch supported on 7" Nexus 7

Will you be developing Photoshop Touch for the Nexus 7. A 7 inch tablet is the form factor i prefer for a tablet and would really like to have a portable version of photoshop running on my Nexus 7. Is there any chance you're going to develop for the Nexus 7?

I can't believe these apps aren't supported by the Nexus 7?
Here I thought Adobe and nVidia were tight!
Please update soon. (proto also)
Love your software.

  • Photoshop Touch support for Chinese, Japanese, & Korean?

    open &menu-add text
    Not supported chinese Japanese Korean

    Hi vgxkghvgxkgh,
I've seen other reports about other non-english characters not working as well. I'm not sure if the issue is because the fonts which are included with Photoshop Touch don't include these characters (even though they appear with the native keyboard layout). Regardless, I'll pass the info on to the Photoshop Touch development group to ensure they are aware. Thanks for posting about the issue.

  • Does Photoshop Touch support "Actions"

One of the features I use most in Photoshop is the "Actions".  So far I have not been able to find that feature on Photoshop Touch.  Can anyone tell me if that feature exists or if it is something I can look forward to in a future release?  Having the ability to take a picture while on location and then to instantly apply preprogrammed actions would make Photoshop Touch an undispensable app for me.

    Hi MRubillo,
Photoshop Touch doesn't currently support actions. I'm not sure if it would be possible to incorporate this functionality into a tablet based app or not. I created the following feature request on your behalf, please add your vote and any comments you would like to see included.

  • Photoshop Touch on Tablets that Support Pressure Sensitivity

Does Photoshop touch support pressure sensitivity when downloaded on the Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet which has a stylus and pressure sensitivity built in?  I heard you will be supporting pressure sensitivity on the up and coming Samsung Note 10.1, but that it might be a special edition of Photoshop Touch.
This would be a massavely useful feature.

To add to what Ig said:
Go into the "Brush" option on the toolbar on the left. There should be an icon in the lower right. Tap it to set options for either size or opacity.

  • Photoshop Touch Android

I have just purchased Photoshop Touch (PST) for my Nexus 7 running Android 4.2.2
I think the concept is awesome for on the go creativity with my photography.
However I tried plugging in my Wacom Bamboo Fun Tablet and found that it worked sort of.
I could not access all of the screen with the stylus on the tablet. After so head scratching I figured out that the Wacom seemed to think it was in portrait mode while PST was in landscape mode and this was why I could not access the RIGHT side of the PST screen.
Is there some way I can tell the system/software what orientation to view the wacom?
I accept that the intention of PST is TOUCH and therefore designed to work with a stylus on screen but if it is possible it would be just nice.
    Any suggestions?
    Edit
I just found this on the Wacom site
    http://forum.wacom.eu/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=13918
It says that the Android driver in 4.x only works in landscape and it is supposed to be fixed in 5.x

Upon looking at my first post I made a typo in the edit. The Bamboo Tablet works in portrait mode NOT landscape as I typed by error. This the issue with PST, it only comes in landscape and does not auto rotate if you rotate the nexus 7.

Whenever I creat a template in Photoshop CC with the intent of using it in Photoshop Touch, the.PNG transparency will not show in PS Touch. I open the document in Photoshop CC and its all layed out perfectly, I open it in Photoshop Touch and its flat and filled with white.
I'd really appreciate any help with this issue. Thanks!

  • Photoshop Touch for Nexus 7 (Jellybean)

Any idea when a release might happen?

I talked with John Nack via email from Adobe Blogs: http://blogs.adobe.com/jnack
Apparently Photoshop touch works in Android 4.0 IceCream Sandwhich, there is no reason (that anyone can give me) that Photoshop Touch or any of the other Adobe Touch Apps shouldn't work in Nexus7. I feel that Nexus7 actually should be perfect for them given the RAM and NVIDIA Graphics, not to mention the processing power.
I actually cover my thoughts concerning how the Google Nexus 7 will effect the design landscape in general here:
    http://robertoblake.com/blog/2012/07/google-nexus-7-will-change-graphic-design/
With the sellout rate Google has currently for these tablets theire can be no doubt that it will be supported, Furthermore with Apple set to deliver and iPad mini before the holidays, you can bet that Adobe is hard at work enhancing an update for these apps to fit the 7inch platform.

  • I purchased the subsciption for photoshop cc but it is missing touch support option under experimental preferences.

I was told by chat support that touch support was not included in the trial of photoshop cc.  I purchased subscription and it was still not there.  When I contacted support about this they said it would not be there until payment was processed.  After payment processed I uninstalled it and reinstalled it but it's still not there.  I am running a Windows Surface Pro with windows 8.1.

  • Photoshop Touch and Nexus 7

    Hi,

  • Does Photoshop touch for Ipad2  support .eps and .cdr files ?

Does Photoshop touch for Ipad2  support .eps and .cdr files ?

    Hi Contactketan,
These are not support file formats within Photoshop Touch. You could convert to .jpeg or .psd through Photoshop or Corel.

  • What formats are supported in Photoshop Touch for phone?

JPEG, PNG, TIF, and PSD are all supported on Photoshop Touch for phone. PSDX is Photoshop Touch for phone's own native format. RAW is not currently supported at this time.

  • Nexus one profile - touch support problem

I appear to be having a problem with the Nexus one profile on CS5 Device Central. My application detects mouse CLICK events but not mouse ROLL_OVER events in device central on the Nexus one profile.
To check out this problem I then built a very simple Flash movie to test the touch detection on the Nexus one profile. It simply writes  Capabilities.touchscreenType to a dynamic textfield on the screen. To my surprise it comes back with "none" whether I run the test movie in the Flash environment or the nexus one profile in Device central. I also get the output message "This device does not support touch points".
Pages 510-511 of the AS3 development guide imply that you just need to test  Capabilities.touchscreenType  to determin wheher the device has touch capability. Is there something I have missed?
    Jerry

I've got a droid with 2.2 on it and I've been playing around with Flash 10.1 and AIR. I've also been trying to get multi-touch and Gesture events working and they just don't seem to register. I also read the API and thought this is going to great! Super easy multi-touch support, but sadly I've not had any luck with it. I would have thought this would have been kind of a big deal to have working on the mobile platform with all the touch screens out there. ???
I went a head and ran the same test you did and I'm also getting none for  Capabilities.touchscreenType.   The Droid definitely has multitouch capabilities.

  • Any word on touch support for Photoshop CC?

I've been trying to use it on my Surface Pro 2, but only the (tiny) menu buttons work.  Every time I touch the canvas, the image instantly slides off-screen.
I know improved support for touchscreens has been in the works.  But after recently seeing a Surface Pro 3 commercial where they show someone moving the image around on a touchscreen in Photoshop, I had assumed they finally fixed the issue.  Nope.  I've searched high and low but still haven't found any news about the improved touch support or when it's coming.
Can anyone shed some light on this?  Thanks for any help!

Could they have been using one of the Adobe Touch applications?

  • Is there support available for photoshop touch for phone, android?

There are many unanswered questions in the forum, with little activity since January this year. Photoshop Touch for Android (in my case) has failed to launch succesfully on 3 different devices this year alone. Please fix, respond to questions or at the very least demonstrate you are working on this.

    Hi,
have you tried the update? If that doesn't help, please let us know which devices you are using.
    Thanks,
    Ignacio
