Photoshop trial download error - firewall setting?

Hi I am trying to download the trial version of photoshop and it's keep failing. And this popped up. I tried to find where to change the firewall setting but I am unable to find it. Can someone tell me what I need to change?

Photoshop Trial download too slow

Hi everyone,
Is it normal for the Photoshop Trial download to take forever? Apart from the text to say Photoshop is now downloading (which has been there for about 20 minutes) there appears to be nothing happening. Am I missing something?

Photoshop Trial. Error 11

After installing the photoshop trial I get this error message. "Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application." Already reinstalled twice. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Please delete the copy of the Adobe Download Assistant in your Applications folder. You will then be able to install the updated version. You can find more details in the Known Issues section of Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assista nt.html.
Also as an alternative you can follow the directions listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download of the software.

Installing Photoshop CC: "Download error. Contact customer support (49)"

Hi. have just purchased the creative cloud. I try downloading/installing Phoshop, but at the end it comes up with: "Update failed. Download error. Press Retry again or contact customer support (49)" ??!! I have tried again offcourse - problem remains,
Running on Windows 8.1, 3200x1800 ppi screen on Dell M3800. InDesign installed and working ok as far as I can see by briefly testing.
Actually I am able to open Photoshop - only to find out, that it is impossible to use, because the interface is not being scaled - leaving the menus so small, that it is impossible to see anything!!?? This issue I also found in this thread: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1323412?start=160&tstart=0
- so my primary question is about the download/install error.

Manualyl download Adobe AIR from the Adobe site and install it.

Neither the Photoshop trial nor the InDesign trial would open for me. Then I downloaded the Adobe Application Banager because I think the one I had on my computer was associated with a previous email address. the programs still wouldn't open. Then I right-clicked on InDesign (in the Start Menu) and it gave me the option to open as administrator which I did. The program opened. (It's a work computer, but I can use the administrator privileges even though I'm not in administrator status all of the time.) Anyway, I don't know if either of these scenarios would apply to you, but both programs finally launched for me and are working.

Any idea what it means?

As I mentioned on another discussion thread -
Once the update failed I could no longer launch Photoshop CS6. I got a dialogue box that popped up saying "Adobe Photoshop CS6 has stopped working." I tried a number of things, including trying to reinstall Photoshop CS6. Maybe I did something wrong but I couldn't get any joy. Luckily, I had a recent Drive image which I restored and got my lovey Photoshop back again.
I then did as someone suggested and attempted to update from within Photoshop itself. Unfortunately, the same horrible result. Have just restored my drive again and will not try to install update 13.1.2 until I know that the problem has been addressed and fixed by Adobe.
By the way, as my attempt to reinstall Photoshop, as per the Adobe suggestion, didn't help, should I have reinstalled the entire Creative Suite Master Collection? If that is what I need to do then I will most definitely forgo this update.
I just had a look at what this update is supposed to do. It apparently gets rid of a bug that when you open a copy of Photoshop CS6 that you purchased, a notice displays that you can try this product for 30 days. As I don't have this issue, I wonder why I got the update anyway. Maybe that is why it is causing so much angst. It is supposed to fix a specific problem that I don't have.
I suggest that if, like me, you don't have this "Trial Screen Display" bug, don't install the update.

InDesign CS4 Trial Download Error

So I spend 10 hours downloading the trial version to Adobe Indesign CS4. It downloads fine and I'm set to install. As I install, it goes about halfway, to the Adobe NA Color Settings, when a popup comes and says that Adobe Setup has encountered a problem and needs to stop.
Any clues on WTH happened?
I'm running Windows Vista, Home Edition, Verion 6.0 with SP1.
I've tried installing it with firewalls down, in simplified mode, with interenet connected and not connected.
Frankly, I am at a lost to what is up.
I really need Indesign for school and was planning to buy it after I installed the trial version. But the trial won't even install properly.
Any help would be nice

CS6 trial download error message.

When I download the CS6 InDesign trial version, it gives an error message: You are running an operating system that InDesign no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements for a full list of supported platforms............But my OS X 10.6.8 is listed on the system requirement.......confused.....

The install error above indicates permissions issues with Common Color Profile and VC++ package install.
Please try downloading and installing Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package (x64) manually from : http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=30679
Restart the computer in the Selective start mode , this will give step by step description (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/disable-startup-items-services-windows.html )
Secondly, reset the permission on the C:\Adobetemp folder to read and write.
Once done start the installation again and then check.

Adobe acrobat pro DC trial download error (Mac)

When I try to download the trial version of Adobe acrobat DC pro on my mac, it gives an error "Acrobat installer encountered an unexpected failure. Please try again. If it continues to fail contact Adobe support". I have tried doing in about 5 times, it failed every time. Any fixes? It would be greatly appreciated.
Version of Mac OS: OS X (10.8.5)

No I'm running 10.8.5. (and can't update due to a critical application incompatibility).
