Photoshop trial period ended, purchased PS, but now only have trial version.

I had Photoshop and bridge as a trial in January. The trial expired and I purchased the software, but the software is not on my computer and I keep getting messages about the trial nearly ending. Do I need to uninstall the trial software and reinstall the new software? I have spent 3 hours on this already...not fun

You can't. Purchases cannot be transferred from one Apple iD to another.
You will have to repurchase the apps using your new Apple ID.

Just purchased CC2015 Lightroom & Photoshop following a 30 day free trial. All worked well during the trial but now I have subscribed to the plan and downloaded the latest LR version I am unable to zoom into the images and just get a constant 'loading' box and spinning circle. When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available.

It used to be that to update the trial to the licensed version with the box, you just inserted the DVD & ran the installer to convert the trial to licensed. This changed with Snow Leopard. You now need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

You shouldn't have any compatibility issues. But you don't store images "in" Lightroom. Lightroom simply points to wherever the images are on your system. You might like to watch a few videos that can help you understand how Lightroom works.

Assistanttolindsey the Adobe Download Assistant will download the installation files for Adobe Acrobat Professional XI. By default they are saved to your download folder. You can begin the installation process from there.

My kids have new iTouches and I have an iphone. I set up their accts same as mine to share iTunes/iCloud but now they have all my contacts, calendar, and messages go out weird from them. What should I do ?

You can share the same Apple ID for purchasng form the iTunes and app stores without any problems, but you should all used separate iCloud accounts with separate Apple IDs. (You are not required to use the same ID for iCloud and other services as you do for the iTunes store.) This will prevent you from ending up with merged data. You should also use separate Apple IDs for iMessage and FaceTime or you will end up getting each other's text messages and FaceTime calls.

Please see the bold. If you're out of icloud storage, then you won't be able to backup to icloud unless you purchase more storage, but yet you said you backup to icloud.
If you really did backup to icloud no data would be loss - sounds to me that it didn't backup since you had no more free icloud storage space.
