Photoshop Trial to Master Collection

Okay, I currently have the trial, and I want to upgrade to the master collection. However, I have Photoshop downloaded because of the trial. When my trial runs out, and the master collection comes, how would I input the Serial code?
Does each program in the Master Collection have a serial code I need to input?
This is a bit of a confusing question...

From your Add or Remove Programs system vcontrol panel - like any other Windows program.
is there a way to still be able to use Photoshop in the Master Collection?
MC comes with a full PS Extended. Just giving you a friendly warning here, nothing more. People have reported such licensing issues regularly and if there is a chance you can uninstall before the trial times out, it would be smart and possibly avoid more convoluted operations later.

That would seem to be the obvious solution. I have tried it but the reason I am asking is the blank fill in the password screen which is the result of this action.
1. open program.
2. License flash screen appears with sign in prompt.
3. Sign in with adobe creative cloud activated.
4. License entry required.
In a perfect world this would prompt an automated response which would read my adobe ID credentials and automatic sign in would occur. So this is my problem. I am stuck on this screen. So here are the options as i understand them. 1. Uninstall and start over. 2. Request support. 3. Search forums.
What am i missing?

Trial for Master Collection says "Trial Expired" after I just downdloaded.

I just downloaded Abode CS4 Master Collection Trial Version and all the programs in the suite except CS4 Photoshop (64-bit) say "Trial Has Expired". PhotoShop (64-bit) comfirms I still have 29 days left. I am running Win 7 (64-bit) Professional. Please help thanks.

We can't. Once the clocks goes, it's gone.
That said, this is the type of thing that might happen if you don't install the 32 bit apps in the Program Files (x86) folder.

I have just downloaded a trial of the Master Collection 5.5 in swedish and I would like to change it into english. Is there an easy way?

You will want to download the English version and then install it after removing the Swedish version.

Cannot fully download a trial of Master Collection CS5.5

I want to download a trial version of Master Collection CS5.5 onto my computer, but the download assistant doesn't seem to be working correctly. The download bar gets to 20.98% downloaded, then just stops. I've tried pausing, but it refuses to resume, turning off Firewall has no effect. I have no idea what the problem is. It downloads other products fine.
Anyone out there who can help please?

Okay... I turned off Antivirus & Firewall, deleted contents of local store folder, clicked on download trial button from the Master Collection trial page, accepted the terms and conditions, and started download. Then it came up with error 109. Then tried reset button, clicked no to start from beginning, which resulted in error 108 then error 109 again. Then closed Download Assistant, to find that i couldn't get on to the internet. Firefox came up with the error that it was configured to a different proxy server that was refusing connections. I then rebooted, which sorted the internet. ??????!
Oh, and i checked the Local store text file again, which had quite a list of errors. First one was #3219 again. Next i'll try using Chrome to download.

Is it still possible to get a trial of Master Collection CS5? I have found nothing and I would really like to check this out as a moving up option rather than the brand new 5.5. Thanks to anyone that can help in advance!

Since you no longer can buy CS5 anywhere other than used copies or perhaps a few remnants of physically shipped packages that have caught dust in an electronics store somewhere deep in the woods, what would be the point? Sorry, but this doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It's even approaching a certain level of ridiculousness considering that e.g. PremierePro in CS5.5 supports many more graphics cards for the Mercury Playback Engine than it ever did in CS5 and the Warp Stabilizer in After Effects CS5.5 doesn't exist in CS5. Similar observations can no doubt be made for InDesign, Dreamweaver, Flash Catalyst etc. For the rest it doesn't matter - Photoshop, Illustrator and a few other tools are just the same as in CS5 and haven't ben upgraded.

Reinstalling Photoshop With Master Collection Downloaded

Hello, I ran into an error unexpectedly that said Photoshop was missing files.I then uninstalled it and am now trying to figure out how to reinstall it.
I have a copy of the master collection and i just downloaded Photoshop again from the bridge. Do i have to use my master collection key for it to work? Or would i have to uninstall the entire master collection and download it all again?

It depends is your serial number for Master Collection? If so then you will need to install Photoshop through the Master Collection installer. You can customize your installation however so that only Photoshop installs.

Catalyst missing in Master Collection CS5 Trial Ger/MAC?

Hello folks
I downloaded the trial of Master Collection CS5 in German for Mac and installed it.
Now I cannot find Flash Catalyst CS5 anywhere although beeing showed in the contenl list on the trial download page.
That is quite annoying because I mainly installed it for Catalyst and am waiting for my already ordered Original version.
Anyone with the same problem or an explanation?

Hi,
When I try to install a trial product like photoshop cs6 or master collection cs6 I keep getting the error " Installer failed to initialized". I used Adobe cleaner to remove all cs6 products and tried again, but no luck, the same error.
I opened the the log file and found that line :
[FATAL] Setup - Error installing C:\Users\moshe-a\Desktop\MasterCollection_CS6_LS6\packages\core\PDApp.pimx package.
Return Value of pim_installPackage = -1
Any idea how to fix the problem?

"Installer failed to initialize. File not found." or "Installer failed to initialize. This could be due to missing files."
first, rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old.
to find OOBE:
64 bit win OS: Program Files x86\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
32 bit win OS: Program Files \Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
mac os: HD>library>application support>adobe>caps
mac os: USER>library>application support>adobe>OOB
if that fails or isn't the exact error you see, uninstall, clean (http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html) and reinstall.
if you're using a dvd to install:
copy the disc contents to a desktop directory and install from that directory.
if you're using a mac:
1. Try to Create a new user account in Mac with Administrator Priviledges.
2. Login to the New user, Navigate to Mac HD> Application> Utilities> Adobe Installer folder, Locate products like Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Adobe Air and un-install them
3. Navigate to User Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
4. Navigate to Mac HD> Library> Application Support> Adobe and move Adobe to Trash.
5. Start the installation again.

J'ai un problème avec l'installation de Creative Suite 6 Master Collection. C'est l'installation à partir de DVD, c'est un upgrade à partir d'une version 5.5. Je place le premier DVD, le programme d'installation me demande le numéro de série, ce que je fais et lInstallation commence à la fin du premier DVD le programme me demande d'insérer le DVD no 2. Ce que je fais. Mais le programme d'installation ne recommence pas. L'installation bloque à ce moment. Il n'y a pas de message d'erreur. Avez vous une solution à me proposer.

Pouvez-vous s'il vous plaît essayez de copier le contenu du DVD sur votre disque dur et recommencez l'installation à partir de là? Si elle demande un second DVD alors ce serait d'indiquer votre lecteur optique peut-être des difficultés à lire le DVD. Vous pouvez télécharger et installer le procès de Master Collection, si tel est le cas. S'il vous plaît n'hésitez pas à répondre si avez des questions supplémentaires. Si possible même si elle peut vous s'il vous plaît répondre en anglais.
Can you please try copying the contents of the DVD to your hard drive and try the installation from there? If it is requesting a second DVD then this would indicate your optical drive maybe having difficulty reading the DVD. You can download and install the trial of Master Collection if this is the case. Please feel free to respond if have additional questions. If possible though can you please respond in English.

Adobe CS6 Master Collection DISK setup issues

I duplicated the contents of all 3 dvds to the hdd as a backup, in case the dvds break.
However, when I run dvd 1's setup from the hdd, it eventually says to insert dvd 2 to continue installation, which I do, but it doesn't work.
1) What's wrong? Do I need to run dvd 1's setup from the dvd instead of the hdd to bypass the issue?
2) What's the best way of making a backup of the Master Collection such that the backup itself can be used to install? Copy and paste, like I did? Download the trials? Burn?

When you back up the content from Adobe setup DVD then this is an expected behaviour to ask for Disk 2.
There are 2 solutions to this problem what I think of :-
1) Download the Trial of Master Collection CS6 from the below link and use that as the back up, your serial number will work with it as well.

2) With you DVD set create a desktop installation point and then use that as the back up and installation. It will not prompt for the Disk 2 if you follow the steps properly as stated below.

Yes installing only the Illustrator trial would use the trial for Illustrator. If you have installed the Master Collection though then your trial of Master Collection has already begun. I would recommend using the remainder of your Master Collection trial for the moment.

Functionally there's no difference. The difference is in the licensing.
The big UPside with the Master Collection is that you get a lot of software for one low upfront price compared to buying each software component individually.
The big DOWNside is that when a new version of Adobe software is released, you must upgrade to a suite, even if you only want to upgrade one software component such as Photoshop.
e.g.
You can upgrade Master Collection CS4 to any CS5 Suite.
You cannot upgrade an individual component (e.g. Photoshop CS4) in Master Collection CS4 to standalone Photoshop CS5.
Looking at it a different way, buying Master Collection (or any Suite) means you forfeit some flexibility in future upgrade options (Suites are your only options) and you're placing yourself on an expensive path for future upgrades (Suites only).

Installation CS4 Master Collection (Trial): Photoshop doesn't start

After installing the following products from the CS4 Master Collections DVD (as 30 days trial versions):
- Acrobat 9
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
and everything (what is possible) else UNCHECKED I get the following error at the end of the installation:
"Finished, with Errors" and then the detail:
"Adobe Photoshop CS4 German Language Pack
Fehler:
Error 2."
The first 3 of the above programs starts in german and works fine. Only Photoshop will not start and show the following english error:
"Adobe Photoshop CS4
Some of the application components are missing from the Application directory, Please reinstall the application".
Unfortunately, there is no information about WHICH components are missing and WHERE is this "Application directory" where I could double-check this missing files.
Could anyone help me to find this missing components?
Is there a Logfile where I can check them?
Can I look for information about installation-errors?
(I know, we have a file called "Adobe Creative Suite 4 Master Collection 4.0 dd-mm-yyyy.log".)
But I need some help to find the missing components. Some lines that could describe the problem are this:

I have checked this "not found source filename" on my DVD#3 and found it with 8.35 KB (8'557 Bytes). I can open it and it contains readable code on 156 Lines starting with:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
and ending with

Do you have any idea what could generate my problem if the file exist on the media, can be read but the installer tell me the exact opposite?

Normalerweise solltest Du gar nicht in die Verlegenheit kommen eine südamerikanische Version in Deutschland zu installieren. Hast Du die Möglichkeit die DVDs alle zu mounten? Dann versuche das.
Ein anderer, aufwändigerer Weg ist der, dass Du die erste DVD mit allem drum und dran auf den Server kopierst, der Installer besteht aus einer vielzahl von Payloads. Dabei sind nach dem ersten Kopieren viele leer, von den nächsten DVDs kopierst Du die Payloads, nur die Inhalte in deren Ordner vom Installer der ersten DVD. Am Ende hast Du einen vollständigen Installer an einer einzigen Stelle, der bei Installationen von einem Netzlaufwerk Sinn macht und das zukünftige Installieren beschleunigt.
