guys, 80% of my problem got solved.
here is the solution list as u all have suggested and that i have checked it also.
RSDCUBEIOBJ - infocube list for any nav-attr
RSDODSOATRNAV - DSO list for any nav-attr
ODSOIOBJ. - DSO list for any infoobj
but in these tables, one thing i observe is that each infocube/DSO name is repeated multiple times. why is that? from where it populate?

This makes no sense. You don't configure a listener nor a tnsnames.ora "in a database".   I hope this is just a language issue and not reflective of a fundamental misunderstanding of how tns works.

We're facing a strange problem with an user and his email id.

Let me explain the problem:
One of our users "uid=jcarbonero", "email: [email protected]" is getting some problems with the messaging servers functionality. He receives emails properly to "[email protected]", but the main problem appears when he write an email. He is able to send emails without problems but the destinatary receives the email as the sender was "[email protected]" instead of "[email protected]". "jcmolina" was a department colleague of "jcarbonero" but he is no longer working with us and the ldap user and mail box were deleted.
"jcarbonero" user exist on LDAP and has his own mailbox.

Does not seem to be a problem with the "tcp_local" channel since if we send an email to an internal user the same problem appears using the "ims_ms" channel.
We're facing this strange problem only with the "jcmolina" and "jcarbonero" users.
As you can see the "jcmolina" user doesn't appear in the ldap and "jcarbonero" does:

Checking all the possibilities we verfied the LDAP db2 files and we found entries related with jcmolina on "id2entry.db2" and "entrydn.db2", but in the Directory server forum told me that this has no impact over the main ldap functionality.
Any ideas to troubleshoot this behaviour will be really welcome.

Messaging Server 5.2 built Feb 21 2002You seriously need to upgrade. DS 4.16 is not supported anymore, and you are running a non-patched RTM version of messaging server. At a minimum you should be running iMS5.2 patch 2 (which is freely available without support contract).
This probably isn't causing the problem, but it has to be said.

1. The email is being sent by the email client with the wrong address (most-likely).
-> What email client are they using? (messenger express or something like Mozilla Thunderbird/Microsoft Exchange).
-> If it is the latter, then make sure they have set their email address settings correctly. Also get them to send an email using messenger express webclient and see if the problem persists.
2. There is some kind on rewriting happening in transit/within the MTA (unlikely)
-> What do you get for the output of the following:

Adobe Photoshop . From Dave Hayward

I installed my Photoshop CS3 CD on my new computer with Windows 8.1 and it will not accept my serial number. So I installed the CD on my lap top with Windows XP and it will still not accept my serial number. Please advise. Dave Hayward.

When you say CS3 will not accept your serial number, that probably means you see a red x when you enter the number.
Have you gone into your Adobe account and checked that the serial number you registered is correct?

How do I get the best render for group presentations

Shooting AVCHD at 60i frame rate from Canon HFG 20. Projecting from laptop to large groups and need the best video quality. I've rendered every way I can with poor quality. WMV seems to yield the best results but nothing compared to the .mts files that come from the camera.

Have you tried to Share+Publish as an AVCHD file, with the H.264 CODEC?
Not sure exactly which media players will play those to your projector, but the free VLC Player, and MediaPlayer Classic HC should both handle those files.
Also, what are the capabilities of the projector - any limitations on the Frame Size?

Overlooking the fact that the part number in the comment does not match, how this is different from parts 51C and 51X which also has a Four Wheel Drive and a Rear Wheel Drive?
I guess the real question is how do I know what "all available options" are? I would kind of expect a table which defines this.
And please don't forget to tell us which version of SQL Server you are using!

IPad for group presentations

We want to use iPads to modernize our board of directors. How would it be possible for everyone to be sitting around the same table, viewing the same presentation on their individual iPads, with one member being able to control the presentation, but everyone seeing the slides move? It this only possible with something like GoToMeeting? Or is there an app where everyone can link together? I have an app already where it shares the presentation among a wifi link, but everyone can't see the slides move. They have to move their own.
Also, I swear that I saw this once, but maybe I wasn't seeing what I thought. I was at a seminar where it appeared that two separate presenters were linked to the same presentation on two separate iPads. It appeared that either one could move the slides forward and backward. But to the crowd on the projector, it just looked like a normal Powerpoint presentation. How is this possible? This is the kind of think that we would like to do at our company. Thanks,

How do I allow a user to mark cross on a linear scale on a form?

I have created a form that has a visual analogue scale on it (basically its a picture of a big thermometer). What I would like is for the person filling out the form to be able to put a cross (or any sort of mark really) somewhere along the scale. Any ideas? I'm relatively new to this stuff so I really appreciate any help.

Try reader extending the form. Opening the form in Acrobat and then do File ... Save As Other ... Reader Extended PDF ... Enable more tools (includes form fill-in and save).
That's for Acrobat XI, it's different for other versions, might be under tools in earlier ones.

The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop

Hello,
I hope somebody can help us. I am a IT Technician in a school, we have approx 500 Windows 7 64bit machines with about 600/700 users - 200 machines have the CS5.5 Master Collection installed on them. We have an intermittent issue with printing from Photoshop (both the 32bit and 64bit versions). Our printers are mostly HP LaserJet printers (all modern), but we have an Epson B-510DN Inkjet and some Xerox copiers too. The drivers are all installed on a central print server running Server 2008 R2 and shared via Group Policy to client machines.
In rooms where Photoshop is installed, intermittently when a student goes to print we will recieve the following error:
The saved printer information is not compatible with this version of Photoshop, or the saved printer is no longer available. You will need to check your printer settings before printing.
Photoshop will then grey out the 'Print' button and won't let the user print again. The odd thing is that we can still print from other software such as Microsoft Word or even non Microsoft software - even Illustrator will print. It just seems to be Photoshop thats has any issues.
This happens when printing to any printer on site, 90% of which are HP's. As a general rule we configure all of our HP printers with HP's PCL6 Universal Print Driver as it makes management of various printer models easy, and we haven't found it to limit us atall yet. We are aware the Adobe software is 'preferential' to Postscript drivers but our printers arn't, being HP's PCL is their native language. We have tried changing a printer to the Postscript UPD driver to test it but it made no improvement. We have also seen the issue quite indepth with our Epson B-510DN which is configured with Epson's latest model specific driver as our photography department use it. Since we are seeing it with different printers I don't believe the printer drivers are to blame - unless somebody want's to prove me wrong.
Like I say the problem is intermittent, and we are having trouble tracing it down to a user, computer or a software problem as it is so intermittent. Has anybody else seen this and managed to overcome it? Since it's only happening in Photoshop is it a bug that Adobe have recognosed and fixed in CS6? The only workaround we have found for it is to go into printers, chnage the defualt printer from one to another and back again - this seems to shut Photoshop up.

Apologies for my slow reply - we have been busy here the past few weeks.
We are using a standard Microsoft provided JPG image (Tulips.jpg) so we have ruled out it being an issue with the image; perhaps if we were using a PSD, maybe so.
We have now found out what the issue is, and what the workaround for this bug is. All of our printers across our site are named in a specific format, usually [Location name] [Room number] [Mono or Colour] resulting in printer names such as Photography A11 Colour, Art A2B Colour and Design Technology A14 Colour. All of these names contain numbers. We have tried reimaging machines, reinstalling Photoshop, upgrading to CS6, deleting and reconfiguring printers with the same name. Finally the only solution that worked was to take the numbers out of the name, either by renaming or deleting and reconfiguring the printers. The Photography printer is an Epson B-510DN using a model specific driver and the other two use the HP PCL6 UPD driver, so I don't believe the drivers are to blame and since renaming the printers work I don't believe it's a configuration issue either. Remember that these printers are shared from a print server and deployed via Group Policy (using the Print Management method).
I hope this provides you Chris, and others searching Google, a useful explanation of the problem and what the fix is. As much as Adobe won't admit it's a problem/bug, I and many others across the internet believe that it is and that it should be fixed in future versions of Photoshop.

Adding a user to group in OID based on provisioning of a generic connector

Hi All,
I have OIM 11g installed. Also I have created a generic connector and I provision it to the users. Now based on this, I was thinking of attaching a task in the process definition of the Generic connector I had created such that when the Create User happens, then I can get the task I created triggered so that I can add a user to a group in OID. I searched for some codes I could use for this but failed. Can someone please guide me as to what APIs and method calls I need to use to add a user in OID to a group. The group will be a static name and hence will not change over time. Say the name of the group is GenericConn so when I provision the generic connector to the user, in the OID the user's dn should be added as a Member to this GenericConn group present there. Please guide me.

I mapped the adapter variables as follows:
User ID to Usr Key of User data
orclguid to LDAP GUID of User data (I have LDAP Sync enabled in my OIM)
PDataOrg to LDAP DN of User data
GroupDN to literal value cn=GenericConn,cn=Groups,cn=new,cn=test,cn=com
OrganizationDN to literal which is not populated with any value (same existed in the original AddUserToGroup task of OID Connector)
And all other adapter variables apart from these to the Process Instance -> OID Server -> corresponding attribute details while mapping
However when I provision the generic resource to the user, I get the task as rejected and the following error in the Resource History:
Response:     DATA_ERROR
Response Description:     Unknown response received

User won't add to an AD security group

Hello,
     I've been scouring around the last few days and I've come up empty handed with an issue I'm having on a personal domain and I'm hoping someone here can point me in the right direction.
     I have a domain controller set up in a lab environment running Server 2012 RU with three computers and three users joined to the domain. I'm currently attempting to apply group policy via AD security groups but I've hit a dead
end. I've created the users and moved them to a nested OU, we'll call it SiteA>Users. I then created a global security group called Control Panel Restriction and placed it in a nested OU in SiteA>Groups, and joined one of the users to the
security group. I then created a group policy and configured it to restrict all access to the control panel and linked it to the SiteA OU. In security filtering I've removed the authenticated users group and added the Control Panel Restriction
group.
     The first time the user is joined to a security group it seems to work fine. If I remove the user from the group and run gpupdate /force, the user can once again access the control panel. From that point going forward,
however, it's as if the user is never added to a security group again. I can add the user directly to the security filtering section of the GPO and it works, but it's like security group membership will not update anymore for that user.
     Troubleshooting: I've verified the permissions of the security group for the GPO and made sure it has read and apply group policy access, I've created a test user and placed it in the Control Panel Restriction security group
and policy applied successfully (once), so I know the group works. I ran a gpresult /r for the user and found the group policy IS being applied, but it's being denied through security filtering. In the group membership section of the gpresult report
it indicates the user is only a member of the default security groups in AD, not the custom made security group, even though a quick inspection of AD proves otherwise.
     Any advice?

After you add, or remove, a user from a group, ensure that the changes have replicated/propagated across the DC's (waiting for your replication cycle time is usually enough), then, ensure that the user logs off, and then log the user on again.
The logoff/logon cycle is typically important, since the user's security token is constructed at logon, and the token is constructed based on group memberships at the time of logon.
