There are poorer web galleries in the optional download for the Bridge. The Bridge Output Module. To create Web photo galleries from Photoshop these days you need to use Photoshop Scripting.
Being that the Bridge Output Module is optional I think we'll find Adobe will drop support for it like they dropped Photoshop Web Gallery Plug-in. The last version of Photoshop you can install Web Photo Gallery in is perpetual CS6. Some Plug-in support was removed in the subscription version of CS6 the plug-in will not function in newer versions of Photoshop.
I don't use Lightroom it may have some web gallery support.

What happened to "Simple Web Photo Gallery" Automation in Photoshop
Hi - I have used Photoshop's automation tool to make a simple web photo gallery for at least 10 years. I have built a business out of displaying photos that way for clients. i do a few things in the HTML but mostly that function of putting them all in a gallery in nice simple columns was of major use. 1000s if not 100,0000s of photos have been displayed by me in this way. CS5 was the last I was able to use it.
What can I do now? Where is the plug-in. Why has this function been moved?

Thank you all so much!The output function in Bridge - unless it has changed a lot since last I checked - does not give me any control on how big the thumbnails should be, what colors to use, what size the large image should be. It barely gives me any control at all and that worries me. In the version I am talking about we had complete control, that's what I need again.
For example, it only gives me the ability to put 5 rows of pictures. That's not enough. I need a 100.
What are my options? Sorry, I really need help with this or I'm going to lose a ton of business. -

I have Photoshop Elements 8 trial edition and Photoshop Elements 2.0. I would like to create a Web Photo Gallery with Photoshop Elements 8 trial edition just like I have been doing with Photoshop Elements 2.0. I cannot find how to create a Web Photo Gallery in Photoshop Elements 8. Has Adobe removed the Web Photo Gallery function from Photoshop Elements 8?

The Flash version does not permit downloading and requires that you use one of the provided templates. It appears that Photoshop Elements 8 is a downgrade from Photoshop Elements 2.0 in this respect. Is there any way to accomplish what I want to do with Photoshop Elements 8.0?

Photo gallery page from iWeb '08 doesn't work for Mac OS X 10.3.9 user?
I have recently published a photo gallery page with comments on using iWeb '08 (latest update). Displays fine for me and apparently a lot of other mixed-platform users. But one user is saying that his eMac with Mac OS X 10.3.9 and the Safari of the day don't display the pictures. He gets the banner and background image for the gallery, but not the actual pictures. I asked him to try Firefox, but so far no reply on that.

Unfortunately this is not true. On an iMac G4 10.3.9 using Safari you cannot even view the photos, the photo page or even the web gallery itself. You just get a warning. Had I known that my friends and family would have a problem viewing photos I would have passed on the update. I don't expect my Father to upgrade his system to view photos from the "user friendly" Apple programs. That's why we got him an iMac to begin with. I find iLife 08 a very poor release from Apple and more trouble than it is worth.
It was no different when AOL went from version 3 to version 4.
I didn't know AOL even still existed, that alone upgraded!? (haha)

But Kirk, they don't, none of them! and this kind of stuff just seems crazy to some of us. I wish that Apple would TELL US or advertise the facts like, Oh, you only get ONE gallery for each user on Web Gallery (useless) and Oh, you will not be able to edit 06 iWeb pages with 08 iWeb and the iLife 08 version of iPhoto you will not be able to view these galleries without upgrading to the latest Safari web browser. Yes we always expect some bugs with a major update but this is getting ridiculous.
I have not yet had anybody try downloading the newest version of Firefox that will work with 10.3.9. Do you know if that will make a difference? Thanks for your help. -

I'm an oldtimer and have had this Mac for less than 2 yrs and have LOTS to learn - but I've climbed the curve a little. !'ve made several movies and published to YouTube and burned to disc using IDVD with reasonably good results. Each time I have added stills to my movies it has worked fine - but tonight, I'm suddenly unable to add them. I click "Photos" - select my photo - left click the photo and drag into the project while holding the click. Have the green "+" and the green highlight and even get the green vertical bar in the project but when I release the click, the photo simply disappears! One "clue" here may be this: I was able to add one still to this project and the only diff between it and the other still thumbnails now is that there is a "green check mark" on the thumbnail of the one successfully added. Any suggestions? (I do have the "advanced tools" option selected in IMovie Preferences.)

• iMovie ill behaving - Trash the iMovie pref file - use to set things right
• in reg. to Photos - Did You change iPhoto Photo Library - Then iMovie get's lost as it peeks into iPhoto on start up to see where photos are stored. Set iPhoto back to first Photo Library (when iMovie is not running) then start iMovie.

I guess I don't think it's smart for him to "share" my ID - but am afraid of what I'll do to his phone (apps, really) if I go into the phone and change him to a new ID.
Any thoughts?If you want seperate accounts for managing apps and purchasing content, basically yes, you need two account and would need to repurchase. However, if you just want seperate ID for iMessgae, icloud and such, you can do that and still continue sharing the same Id for apps and itunes.

Web Photo Gallery Missing from Photoshop CS4
Has anyone else found this to be valuable feature that is no longer available? We used this feature regularly as a method for proofing our customers and I have found that the one that is included in Bridge is sorely lacking from the Photoshop version.
Has anyone found a solution or something that works similarly that is can be customized as deeply?Just to let you know that I followed the instructions in the PDF. Here they are sightly re-edited by me:
To retore Web Photo Gallery functionality:
Close Photoshop and use Explorer to view the extra stuff on the CS4 install DVD.
Here's what you need to copy from the Photoshop CS4 install disk and where it goes:
1. copy "Goodies\Optional plug-ins\Plug-ins 32-bit\Automate\WebContactSheetII" plug-in
to the "Adobe Photoshop CS4/Plugins/Automate" folder
(note there's a 64bit version in the Plug-ins 64-bit folder if that's what you're using)
in my case it goes into "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4\Presets\"
2. copy "Goodies\Presets\Web Photo Gallery" folder (the whole FOLDER)
into the "Adobe Photoshop CS4/Presets" folder

I'm trying to understand the Photo Gallery demo so I can
replicate the function for use on various sites. I've copied the
html, xml, javascript and some of the photo file elements to my
hard drive. I initially modified the file structures to something
more of my liking, but had some problems with the links. I've since
mimicked the structures so I can reduce the initial errors, but I
am stumped at the var dsGallery and var dsPhotos statements that
dynamically link to the China, Paris and Egypt photo databases. In
the original dynamic definition, DreamWeaver only parses the
dsGalleries XML definition, not defining the dsGallery and dsPhoto
nodes. I wasn't too concerned about that given the variable nature,
but nothing except the pull-down menu and controls displayed in the
browser. DreamWeaver shows correct parsing of the dsGalleries XML,
dsGallery and dsPhoto nodes only when I eliminate the dynamic
linking and set it to one of the static links (Egypt). This fails
in the browser to link to the data, giving a display that shows the
correct number of empty thumbnail frames but without the displayed
photos, no Spry effects, and no large photo display. I'm sure I
have multiple reference errors, but I don't see them. Any ideas?

IWeb08; Photo Gallery: Can I have Photo open in a new window?
In the old version of iWeb I had a photo gallery and when a person clicked on the image it would open in a new window. I preferred this to what it does now where a person clicks and they are take to a "review" page of all of the images on the page.
Is it possible to have iWeb 08 go back to the old way of doing this? To open the image in a new window instead?Curtis:

I think you need to take it step by step and accomplish several task in the following sequences:
1. Write code that loads XML correctly;
2. Write code that enables buttons;
3. Write code that will load images on button clicks.
The code below shows in principal what needs to be done in order to load XML and make the data in this XML available for further consumption. Also, by accomplishing this step you will iron out all the PHP vs Flash wrinkles including your XML.
Please note, I don't know your XML structure so all the parsing issues you need to resolve yourself.
Once you get handle on it - we, hopefully, will talk about steps 2 and 3.

I have PS CS4, on a mac, and I added the Web Photo Gallery plug-in.
This works, but I cannot get PS to make a Web Photo Gallery that reflects the folder structure that I am using.
PS just dumps all images into one ore more pages, without regard to their source folder structure.
I want PS to make a home web page that contains just links to web pages that actually contain the images in the sub-folders.
I do not see an option to do that.
I have a home folder, which contains sub-folders, and those sub-folder contain the images.
Does anyone know how to do this?

macMost CS3 Web Photo Gallery Templates are flash free. They use straight HTML. Even the ones the change images automatically just use HTML to refresh the page displayed and change the page to the next image. The Photoshop Web Gallery Template can be edited and customized to better suit your needs. Adobe has removed Photoshop's Photo Web Galleries from newer version of Photoshop however the Feature can be installed into the newer Photoshop versions. Adobe added an output module to the Bridge that can create Web Photo Galleries these are mostly Flash based and not easily customized like Photoshop's old Web Photo Gallery templates.
IMO there is nothing wrong with Flash Web Galleries other then mobile tablets and phone do not have flash support. I have yet to see any HTML 5 web gallery with features that match Flash Galleries. I'm not a fan of Flash web sites or Flash games. However there are many Flash web photo galleries that perform well and have great features. I do not particularly want to display my images on small web phones. If you want to see them on a tablet get a windows 8 pro tablet they should have flash support. I put large images in Web Photo galleries fitted for 1600x1200 displays and count on flash to resize them for the users browsers window.
Here is an example of a Flash web photo gallery. It contains 8 or 9 albums some with additional feature enabled. All generated in Photoshop with a custom script. http://www.mouseprints.net/albums/
Resize your browser window see the image sizes change use the menu in the bottom of the browsers window to change album and try full screen support. I only use Flash for Web Photo Galleries. I'm not selling so I do not need IOS and Android support.

how do i get my purchased music back on to my iphone after backing up and restoring my iphone?

My camera is not working on Photobooth or any apply that i can use a camera
