Photoshop will not allow to save imported Aperture Files as jpg

After importing raw files into Aperture, then importing into Photoshop, the option to 'save as jpg' is no longer available. Why? Or better yet, what do I need to do to be able to resume saving my psd files as jpgs?

First, convert your PSD files to 8 bit mode. Then you will be able to save as JPG.

where i reinstalled Photoshop CC.
Began immediately working in the program
and of course testing the save for web feature along with the other save options.

The problem is absolutely not Reader. The problem is that FireFox has stepped in front of Reader and handles all the PDF stuff - wrongly in your case. FireFox is DESIGNED to take over PDF files. But it is not capable of doing IRS forms!
To start with go back to IE for these forms. When you save them to disk DO NOT DOUBLE CLICK ON THEM until this is fixed. Just open the in the normal way - start Adobe Reader and use Open from the File menu.

Perhaps you have Adobe Acrobat, which can do everything Reader can do.

IMovie will not allow me to import photos from iPhoto

the media button in imovie that suppose to let me import photos and music is not active and will not allow me to get anything, but if i check iphoto by itself it shows me everything i got. Please help i really need to get this project done by this week!

You'll have to go this route:
Starting over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Open the library package like this.
2. Launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
3. Drag the subfolders of the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the open iPhoto Library package into the open iPhoto window a few at a time.
This will create a new library with the same Events (but not necessarily the same Event names) as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects.
Note: your current library will be left untouched for further attempts at a fix if so desired.

Whether pictures, or executable files, will download into the download box that pops up. When the file is done downloaded, when I attempt to either left click or right click on the file in the download box, it will not allow me to open that file

Firefox will not allow Screen Saver...Why?

Windows came up with new Wallpapers and Screen Savers, and I decided to change mine.
The Wallpaper on my Desktop page loaded quickly. But when I select a Screen Saver, then click on "OK", it appears to be in place. Only, it's not!! When I go back into "Control Panel", I find that my Screen Saver is blank, again. I re-set it just like I previously did, and clicked
on "OK". Four Times I've re-set Screen Saver, but it doesn't register

Firefox 5.0.1 will not allow me to upload any files. I receive an error message, though I know the files are vaild.

Firefox 5.0.1 for Mac OS 10.6.8 is not allowing me to upload attachments. I get a pink band with the message "Files with errors will not be uploaded". When I click on the View Error link, it tells me "This file couldn't be added because it appears to be empty (0 bytes). " These are valid jpeg files that I have attached many times before, so I know there is no problem with the file. The free Reader has never been able to do much more than reading (opening) PDF files. It has never had the capacity to convert any kind of file to any other format. If you could do it before, you must have been using another Adobe program/service.

What changed in iOS 7 that will not allow me to add audiobook files into a playlist?

In iOS 6 on my phone I could create a playlist and had the option to add audiobook files. This feature is gone in iOS 7. How can I do this without using iTunes to create and manage the playlist? This was a feature I used often in iOS 6 to manage my place in a long audiobook.

After several attempts I cound that you can create a new playlist for audiobook that will NOT show up in your playlist but in your audiobooks sync page as a playlist. I'm not a conspiracists but I think Samsung has bought apple and is trying to tick off their customer base to increase their note sales. Good Marketing Strategy...I'm switching over... adios apple!

ITunes 11.0.2 will not allow me to drag any files to import items between computers using Home Sharing. Help?

There are no "import" thumbnails and I'm un able to drag and drop files. I've ensured on both computers that they both have sharing capabilities. All the websites say that I should be able to just drag and drop the files into the outgoing computer linked to my homesharing network, but there is not reaction from the file when i try to grab it.Thanks everyone!

I can not find the "Show menu" button either!    I am trying to do Home Sharing between 2 PCs in the same room. The Home Sharing Libraries show up ok on each, with the various tunes displaying on each, but I can not move (or "import") tunes from one computer to the other!   It also won't allow me to drag from my husband's library to my library, and vice versa.    I can play them ok on each computer, but the dragging or importing is not happening.
Apple, please fix this!   Both PCs are up to date with iTunes 11.0.2.26.
Anyone have any suggestions?   I just want to move legally purchased music from one computer to the other. This shouldn't be that difficult.     It's supposed to be the point of Home Sharing!

OK I will try to elaborate this time with pictures so it is clear what I am asking and what the issue I am facing is.
The specific option I want to be able to use from within the Adobe Acrobat Pro user interface is
File\Create\Batch Create Multiple Files
When I select that menu item a floating tool bar thing pops up that I can drag and drop files onto.
If I drag excel or powerpoint documents onto it and press OK it converts them fine. If I drag MS word documents into it the documents appear in the list but when I click OK it says no files processed.
In the process of troubleshooting I also tried using the Add Files button. That is when I discovered that MS word documents (*.doc, *.docx) are not showing up in the list of supported file types.
The same thing happens when I try converting a single file using the File\Create\Create PDF From File menu item. Just like above the MS word documents do not show up in the list of supported file types.
Looking in my registry entries as suggested by the article linked to by one of the posters above I can see both *.doc and *.docx types registered in the correct place.
Unless I can use the batch convert command as intended by the time my trial period runs out in 13 days I cannot justify buying this software. If converting the documents one at a time was acceptable I would just use Save As PDF from within MS Word which works just fine. I need the batch convert function so I can convert my whole library of word documents to PDF at once.
Any further assistance greatly appreciated!

IE 11 Will not allow ftp to open in File Explorer

I have 'just 1' machine so far with this problem so i am fairly certain it is a setting or registry entry but can not for the life of me figure this one out.
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit - IE 11 - all current updates.
When i open Windows Explorer (file explorer) and I enter an FTP site address, IE 11 opens and takes me to the address.
This would be all fine and dandy except for uploads yeah?
I used to be able to, in IE, go VIEW -> OPEN WITH FILE EXPLORER but now when I do that there is 0 response from the computer.
I have checked the boxes for Allow FTP view outside of IE and I have checked the box for Use Passive Mode.
Oh, Behavior is the same whether the fire wall is active or not.
What am i missing.

I just don't know exactly what I am looking for.
If you only have one trace it helps to have a hypothesis to test. Otherwise if you have two which are essentially the same except for one significant difference, as I mentioned you should be able to filter coarsely, spot a divergence and then investigate
the cause of it. In a general scenario I imagine you would only have Process & Thread as a coarse filter, e.g. see the dispatching of tasks and threads and the loading of their modules. However, for your case, it may be sufficient to compare
Network events, spot a divergence in that sequence and then dive in to see what more differences there were which caused it.
