My sequence will not show up in Color 1.5.3 when sent from FCP 7

I cannot get clips from FCP 7 to show up when sent to Color. I had been able to get this to work perfectly fine earlier, but now for some reason, when sending a sequence from FCP to Color, Color doesn't automatically create a new project with the sequence in it. I've Googled for answers as much as I can, but cannot figure out what's going wrong.
By the way, the footage is from a Canon 7D, imported into FCP from PluralEyes 8.
EDIT: I've tried to manually export the XML from Final Cut into Color. Color will not even recognize the exported XML file. I've done what others have suggested online and deleted my Color & FCP preferences files out of my User/Library. I've created new FCP projects and tried to send to color from a new project. None of these have helped at all.

I just had this exact same problem. Clips from my FCP 7 sequence would not show up when I sent them to Color 1.5. No way. No how.
I solved my problem (at least for now) by simply restarting my machine. I realized that it had been running for days, and it probably just needed a reboot. Try it. It might work.
And yes, I'm running Mountain Lion, too. 10.8.2.

Photoshop will not print in color

Help! Although my priner settings are set to print in color and teh preview of the document is in color, my printed version will not come out as color. My ink is newly refilled and it is solely a photoshop issue as ive tried printing color with other programs and it is fine.

What kind of color handling are you using?

HP C3180 will not show up on printer list or set up assistant??

When I try to add my new HP C3180 all in one printer, it will not show up on the printer list, or in HP set up assistant, and searches for new drivers fails to bring up any printers. My G4 does not seem to recognize the C3180 printer. Looked for updates to software and there are none. HP says I have the latest software. Uninstalled, and reinstalled HP software several times, still will not show up on the add printer list so I am not able to configure it. Previous Deskjet 970CXI printer is also missing which is OK if C3180 would show up. Anyone with any ideas? Thanks.

If you are unable to print wirelessly, the comments below enabled me to print via my Airport Extreme. Just go to the "Print & Fax" system preferences, and 'add' a printer, then follow these instructions:
-You can print using bonjour in a roundabout way. Wireless printing will work if you select "hp photosmart p1000 g-print beta" in the printer browser under the "print using" option in the print and fax control panel. If you choose this option, the computer will think it's hooked up to a p1000. So it will work with airport express!
This advice was in the customer reviews section of the Apple Store for this printer, where a lot of people were complaining that they couldn't print wirelessly.

Macintosh HD > Library > Internet Plug-ins
Look for these two files.
AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
AdobePDFViewer.plugin
Right click those and select “Move To Trash’.

Photoshop does not want to print in color anymore

Since last Friday Photoshop does not want to print in color anymore.
I am working with a Mac OS X 10.7 and a Canon Pixma printer.
When printing from the web the printer prints in color, but when I try to print a picture from Photoshop CC the picture is printed in B&W.
Can any one help me understand what is going on here?
Printer and Photoshop have always printed in color and in grayscale with no major problem till now.

Definitely check your Print settings. If you have more than one tray, they can be set differently from each other. You could be on the wrong tray as determined by your paper settings in Photoshop's Print dialog.

Two ideas that stand out:
Press the Spacebar on your keyboard before you click File > Print. This process resets printer preferences that have been written into the image.
Reset Preferences: hold down cmd-opt-shift and start Photoshop. Release the keys when the "delete photoshop settings file" dialog appears and click "Yes".

I book text boxes that are not used will not show up in the printed book?

If I don't want to use all the text boxes for my printed book will the outline be printed anyway?(black background with white text box) I assume there is no way to turn the captions off.

Which theme and layout are you discussing
In general text boxes do not show in printed books - however they must have something in them - at least a single space
But some clearly show up - in the travel theme the layouts that have text blocks that look like a torn piece of paper or a post card will of course print

Photoshop will not open some of my files

I recently had a hard drive crash. I sent it to a recovery company and they returned my files on a new hard drive. Many of the images were recovered but some show up as CR2 files or psd files that photoshop will not open. The message says that this is a file format that PS does not recognize. These files seem to be no different from my other CR2 files and psd. files but the thumbnails don't show up in Bridge and PS will not open them. Can anyone tell me how to get these files to open?

Photoshop is not showing up in my available programs list.

Ever since I switched over to The Cloud I have noticed when trying to open with my photoshop is not showing up on the list or the sub lists, when I try to open it under adobe I cannot find the ext file to link it with .. the program seems to be working other than that...

Hello! I will guess that you are using a PC (I guess that by "list" you mean the Start menu)
Usually, Adobe software are listed under their Creative Suite folders, you can try to look if there is a creative cloud. Also, a search for Photoshop.exe should let you see where it is located, and you should then be able to add a shortcut to your start menu.

Photoshop will not open unless as Admin but that causes other problems

There are two problems:
1. If I don't run photoshop as an administrator
2. If I run photoshop as an administrator.
1. If I don't run as administrator, Photoshop will NOT open. I can't even open .psd by double clicking them. Can't open from the installed directory, can't open from shortcuts. It only works if I right click run as admin or set properties to run as admin.
I am the only user for the system, and I have even taken ownership of all files. Yet, it still requires me to run as admin. I am running CS5 with windows 7 64bit.
2. If I run as admin I cannot drag or drop files into PS. As detailed in here - http://forums.adobe.com/message/3640635. I can open files manually through file menu, but dragging and dropping is disabled (shows a circle with a slash when i drag into PS). Their solution in the forum was to remove running as admin. But if I do that, I get problem 1.
Any ideas?

Option 1: Clearly something went wrong when installing Photoshop, or you have changed permissions on your system for some part(s) Photoshop needs to access. Verify, for example, that you have Full Control access to the root of the hard drive you have identified as scratch. A reinstall of Photoshop might correct this.
Option 2: Windows UAC is likely the culprit here. Some folks choose to turn off UAC completely, which means you'll be running everything as Administrator all the time, but that should not be done without FULLY understanding what UAC does for you and what additional measures you'll take to ensure your system doesn't get infected with malware.

Photoshop CC not showing changes live

Since moving to Photoshop CC from Photoshop CS5 I have an issue that no matter what task I do in Photoshop it will not show the change till I click another tool and then click back.
So for instance I could type the word "Hello" but it will not show on my screen till I click another tool like the pointer tool and then click back to the text tool. The same happens for every change I make in Photoshop no matter the tool.
Here I've typed Hello.. this is what I see (font is red)
Now I've clicked the pointer tool. I can see the square around the text..but not the text itself
Now I've clicked back to the text tool and it shows up.
I have updated my computer drivers, graphic drivers, re-installed photoshop (after I reformatted my hard drive from a virus and it's happened on both copies). I've tried changing all my preferences and turning off 3D functions, turning on 3D functions and having high VRAM. Nothing fixes the issue and my computer is more than enough in terms of Ram/Processor/Graphics Card.
Anyone else have this issue and find a solution?

Update as you are on 14.0. See it that makes difference.

I have read your post on how your video will not show picture, but the audio will work on your Windows 8.1 computer. Does the video appear and then disappear using media player software? Does this occur when streaming videos on YouTube? Did you perform Windows or HP updates before this issue occured? Does the entire screen go blank, turn a different color or just show blank on the video window you are attempting to view? Photoshop will not launch. Window indicates need JAVA SE6. Already have it, but re-installed. Photoshop will still not launch. Help! MacOS 10.10.1

Since installing Mac OS 10.10.1 photoshop will not run, it will not launch. A window indicates that it needs JAVA SE6 to run. JAVA SE6 is installed. I have re-installed and restarted but photoshop will not run and I get the same message window that I need to install JAVA SE6. How do I make this work?

Have you added any Photoshop Add-on that uses an external JavaScript. Photoshop itself has is own ScriptingSupport Plug-in and does not use an external java. Also Java SE6 is old and has security issues you should update to version SE8

I want to purchase an ipad but the program I would use onit the most to access my customer base will not show me the full screen and I can not side it over to show the rest of the ifo. Tis program will work on the Motorola xoom but thats not what I want .

I want to use sagefire a company program for entering customer info and billing but the Ipad will not show the entire screen.

In the hour since you have registered you have posted seven messages, none of which contain any useful information that would allow someone here to help you. Please read this post then provide some details in a new thread. What printer model? What operating system? How is the printer connected - USB, wired LAN, Wireless LAN, bluetooth? What is the problem you are having (with the printer...)?
