I am trying to install Photoshop. From the creative cloud, under apps, all I am getting is a spinning gear. Tried restarting computer & installation.

I think you mean Photoshop CS2. Photoshop 2 is from around 1992. The old Adobe activation servers were taken down. CS2 is about a decade old Adobe made a new download for old customers that legal customers can download and install. Download Acrobat 7 and CS2 products

Macbook Pro won't start past spinning gear - keyboard unresponsive

So, the subject pretty much says it all. I have a Macbook Pro that was purchased in March, 2008, and is running Leopard 10.5.8 (I believe). It will not start up past the apple logo with the spinning gear below it.
I've tried everything that I've been able to find in these forums and others - safe mode, firewire link (T), starting from disk (C) - the issue is that the keyboard seems to be completely unresponsive. I press and hold T at startup, with the macbook connected via firewire to my iMac, and nothing... spinning gear. I hold down Shift during startup for safe mode... nothing.. spinning gear for hours. I hold down C with the install CD in the drive... nothing.. spinning gear continues forever.
I'm not sure what the issue is, and I am unaware of a workaround. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Just bumping this again to see if anyone has had a similar issue, or a way to resolve it. I've got a $2000 brick sitting on my desk at the moment.

Photoshop Won't Install/Open

I have adobe creative cloud installed on my MAC and it says Photoshop is installed and up to date. Yet there isn't a photoshop application installed and it won't open my .psd files. Please help

Please follow the second step in CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Photoshop won't install

I bought the annual cloud to lightroom and photoshop. LR downloaded. PS won't. It fails to update, said there was one patch that didn't download. I retried and it won't upload. Any help?

Hey Jeff, thank you for reaching out to help me. I finally figured out the problem. My new PC HP Windows 8 came with McAfee antivirus (which I've aways hated). Once I uninstalled it, PS loaded perfectly. Cheers!

Creative Cloud Photoshop won't install

Can anyone tell me how to get onto photoshop, i have just joined creative cloud I press download but it doesn't install. I have an iMac - version 10.6.8 Memory 2GB 800Mhz Processor 2.8GHz Core 2 Duo

It can take a long time... It's over a gigabyte of download.
Are you seeing an error message, or any kind of status indication?

Itunes won't Install due to Gear driver

Numerous attempts to install Itunes has failed. I'm receiving an error message that says: Unable to install the GEAR driver set at this time. Teh GEARAspiWDM service use by the GEAR driver set is scheduled to be deleted during the next system reboot. Please reboot the system and run iTunes again.
Needless to say, I've rebooted the system too many times to count and I'm still receiving this message. Any solutions? Please help.

Photoshop Won't Install, Doesn't Appear

I just bought the CS4 Design Premium Student Edition. I verified everything and was sent the product key last night. I installed the suite on my Macbook (and everything went perfectly), and this afternoon I attempted to install on my iMac. Some programs installed, but others (specifically Photoshop and Bridge, among others) did NOT.
What is the issue? And what's the solution?

Wade has an idea going here. If you recently had a trial or pirated copy installed, you may not have deleted them fully (Apps install themselves in a number of locations, and deleting just the app will leave behind files in the /Library/App support and ~/Library/Preferences folders). Try uninstalling everything from your iMac, or use the Appcleaner application to remove everything related to CS4. If you have earlier versions installed, don't worry about them because the academic versions aren't update-able. If that doesn't work, post a reply with some more info about your iMac (hardware and software specs) and we'll go back to the drawing board.

I used a free trial then I subscribed for a monthly $9.95 plan but now I can't install. Please help!

Do you NEED to install something? The trial software is one and the same as the licensed software. The only difference is that the CC subscription allows it to continue running.

I just got an imac yesterday and now I'm trying to get photoshop on it through the adobe cloud, but at about 20% it says it's corrupted. How do I get it to work? I need it to work now so I can start getting some work done. What do I need to do? Thanks in advance!

Photoshop won't open photos from Mac photo app

I'm just trying to open some of my photos into photoshop to do some editing. When I click "open" then try to go to the photos which are in the Apple Photo app, photoshop doesn't recognize them. That's the only location the photos are in. Someone help?!

My iPod touch 2nd Gen won't install ipa's from the app store or iTunes. What should I do?

I have tried to install apps via the app store and via iTunes. I am using a freshly restored stock 4.2.1 firmware.

- Yes, the app in question was 'Doodle Jump' which states that it is compatible with iPod touch 4.2.1
- No, restrictions are switched off
- I get a message of iTunes saying 'iTunes is unable to sync iPod'
- When I purchase the application via App Store on my iPod, I get a 'bubble message' saying "Unable to Download Application" 'Doodle Jump will be available for download when you log in to the iTunes Store on your computer'
The issue is only with my iPod touch, I don't experience this issue with my iPhone or iPad.
I have already purchased 'Doodle Jump' on my iPhone and it installed correctly from the App Store.

Wont start, stuck at screen with spinning gear...

title says issue... today when i turned on my ibook, that i just recently purchased used for school, i plugged in a flashdrive to get something off of it. now this is my first mac so i dont know the proper way of things with it yet. but anyway, my laptop froze while doing so, all i got was the rainbow pinwheel that i was able to move. so i forced it to shutdown by holding the power button. now when i turn it on, all i get is the loading screen with the little spinning gear under the apple logo. any ideas on what to do?

Hopefully the install disc(s) were included when your purchased the iBook. If not, you can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available. You will need the discs in order to reinstall the Mac OS X.

Try starting up in single-user mode and then running fsck:
Resolve startup issues and perform disk maintenance with Disk Utility and fsck
